Equipped with a kitchenette that provides a microwave, air fryer and hot plate (no oven) modern furniture inside & out. Two entertaining areas with BBQ and Webber.

This shack caters for humans and their pets offering a large fully enclosed yard with ample parking space for cars and boats. Side carport

Explore the Fleurieu Peninsulas many tourist attractions from food and wine trials + markets to fantastic cycle rides. Port Elliot to Victor Harbour are in close driving distance or leave the car at home and take the Cockle Train to either town and explore on foot.

Lovely little place with a generous yard. Walking distance to town. Clean and tidy. No actual kitchen but all appliances to get the cooking done are provided. Loved our stay!

very clean and tidy - I would like to suggest a simple coat stand to hang a few items on - Bunning a simple bamboo one small enough to fit by the window where the stool were. Other than that everything was great Thankyou

Paid for two nights, stayed one night. Nice location and enclosed yard. The place was very clean and the air conditioner (heating) worked well. The toilet is under the main roof, but you’ll need to go outside to enter it. Very unpleasant getting rugged up (and unnerving) if using it in the middle of a cold night. Also, the light globe was broken so, no light in toilet & no spare globe. Old door handle to bathroom came off in our hand so had to repair it with a matchstick to keep the door shut. The bathroom basin tap leaked enough to saturate spare pillows stored in adjacent cupboard. The microwave is on top of the full-size fridge – impossible for shorter people to reach and it is a scolding hazard when removing hot soup/food. Inadequate bench space and power points to use appliances in kitchen. NO SMOKE ALARM. No top sheet on bed and bring spare blankets if you feel the cold. Tired looking and dysfunctional for humans. Your dog will love it.

Clean, light, airy and comfortable within comfortable walking distance of the town centre and wharf area. Well equipped with all the basic equipment for meals, lounging around and sleeping. Nice modern bathroom. Outside toilet spotless and it's door next to entrance and under cover of the veranda. Block well grassed, fenced and great for our 4 legged companion. Shack well set back from quiet road with good privacy while lovely sitting area out front. One of the best places we have stayed in and we had a lovely relaxing time. Great accommodation for a couple with a dog.

Its a great place to stay Compact in size but perfect for us I have a disability and use a walking frame The house is flat and getting into and out of it is easy The large yard's perfect for our medium sized dog Its big enough for him to have a really good run The toilets outside but this aspect didn't worry us There's good lighting outside All in all it was again (we've been there before a couple of time) a great stay

Well enclosed yard for our little dogs. Photos do not show it but front fence is sealed with wire mesh to keep the little dogs in which was great. Great location for catching up with relis nearby so will be back again soon.

What a wonderful dog friendly place! Was so pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful little place I’d found! Evie loved the huge yard for zoomies and general exploring. Inside was Perfect for a girl and her dog, just what we needed and plenty of space!

Extremely clean updated shack exactly as described in the listing. Great shower and comfy bed, tiled floors. Very pleasant outdoor verandah/ sitting area. Great yard for the dog, good fence and gate encloses a well maintained lawn. We and our little maltese enjoyed our stay.

We found the place to be very relaxing and plenty of outdoor space for our dog to go out into. She was very calm staying there straight away as some places she has taken a day to adopt. Good location not in a busy area. Would certainly think of staying there again.

"The Shack" was a quaint little cottage within walking distance to all local sights and shops. Plenty of natural habitats for the local flora and fauna. The only thing negative i would say about it is that there could have been more kitchen utensils and cookware items. As we are of an age where we prefer eating indoors than at outdoor establishments. We both enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to our friends.

The Shack is a beautiful little gem in a great location. Easy check-in process and was super relaxing and comfortable. The fact I could take my pooch, even better! Thank you Nat for a lovely stay, I will be back again soon.

Great little getaway shack for a little holiday. Bonus points being able to bring your fur baby. Clean facilities. The only downfall is having to walk outside to go to the toilet which wasn’t 100% clear on the listing and not ideal when needing to go in the middle of the night.

The Shack was a tiny self contained haven. Everything you need for a no fuss break. The yard was excellent and our dog Harry had a ball. Some burr patches in the lawn but we just bought some dog boots and problem solved. Would definitely stay again

Great location very quiet and peaceful. Have stayed 4 times now. Clean and comfortable. Dog friendly and fully fenced and secure is a bonus our two frenchies love it here. Only thing is it could use a hot plate or stove top. Has air fryer and electric frypan which were very useful. Great shower and air conditioner. Nice outdoor sitting area.

The Shack was just as it was listed and just perfect for our stay. It was spotlessly clean. The added bonus was the fenced area which our dogs loved playing in. We will be back for sure.

This was difficult to believe but there is an outside toilet most inconvenient . Never even doubted the toilet would be inside NOTHING STATED ON 5NE INTERNET ABOUT AN OUTSIDE TOILET , towels were well worn and thin Cutlery was an array of different types air fryer still had food in it Microwave was dirty food on plate cutlery ,plates drawers were dirty All toiletries bottles eg shampoo eye were just about empty

The Shack was lovely. Very simple one room, warehouse style accommodation. Plenty of yard for my fur baby to tun around within a secure environment. Very close to shops and other amenities, with great coffee shops and fantastic Thai restaurant a 5 min stroll away. We enjoyed our time at the Shack

Everything provided to make for a relaxing enjoyable stay (altho accessing loo from carport was nit ideal, but manageable). Bed super comfy & heating was appreciated. We loved that the property was totally fenced & our greyhound was able to freely roam the boundary!

This is the second time I have stayed at this property and I came back knowing it was a great location away from the busyness of other parts of Goolwa. Always clean and has everything you need if you don’t want to do lots of cooking- which I don’t! Great shower! Loved the outdoor table for relaxing in the sunshine. Perfect yard for furry friends!

We were absolutely delighted on arrival! This place is gorgeous. Perfectly comfortable in size, the garden is beautiful. We enjoyed a very peaceful weekend, with a few minutes walk to anywhere we wanted to go. We loved watching our two Shelties run at their fastest pace around the garden. They were so happy! We had planned to do lots of venturing for the couple of days we were in Goolwa, but we found ourselves prefering to enjoy the relaxing accommodation for the majority of the weekend! This place is the best place we have found so far to holiday with our Pups! We are already looking at dates to return!

Lovely little property. Pet friendly secure fencing. I was in desperate need of tourist info. Maps and what to do. Food places. Nothing was immediatley visible in the unit. First stop was the info centre in town. I eventually found some tourist info tucked away in a cupboard. This should be visible for all visitors as soon as you enter. I had to contact the property manager on arrival as I wasn't sure how to get in. I probably should have been informed the key would be located under the mat. Couple of hiccups, but lovely couple of days.
