We were given a two-bedroom although we asked for a one-bedroom, so that was a nice surprise.
- The furniture was very comfortable and looked good (the bed, pillows, sofa)
- The cleaning ladies did a good job whenever they came over
- The air conditioning worked fantastically well
- Everything in the apartment worked as it should
- We did not find the neighborhood particularly loud or noisy
- The person responsible for the Whatsapp communication was quick and helpful
- No generator. There were 3-4 power cuts in 2 weeks.
- the (poor) guard is there 24/7, so as you can expect he sleeps at night or during the day. If you come back home at night or if you need something during the day, you'll have to be patient. At times there were also kids sleeping on mats in the entrance. It's just not nice to see... The guard also does not speak French, which can be problematic.
- Technically it's a good idea to make people pay for their energy consumption because it makes them less wasteful. We spent 17000 CFA for 2 weeks of power (but I sleep with the AC on), which I think is fine. However, we were called at 23:45 by the guard to be told the electricity credit was almost finished. I guess he did not want us to sleep in the heat, but still... And then Orange Money did not work so in all cases we did not have electricity until the next morning. Another time we thought there was a very long power cut during the day, so after a few hours I went downstairs to see whats going on, and then the guard told me our credit was finished! So once he calls us at midnight, and the next time he doesnt tell us at all. This is not an efficient system.
- The place was covered in dust when we got there, probably because the bathroom windows were left open and the balcony doors are not tight so dust enters from the bottom. There were also two very dusty towels in the bathrooms and we were not sure if this was for us or forgotten there ??
- There is a small "washing machine" connected to a water entry, but there is no power source near it.... so it cannot be used. Also, some people used it as a garbage so when we opened it there were just cigarette butts and trash in there.
- The rest is for details: no curtains for the doors giving to the hallways or the balconies, the kitchen did not look new or well built, plastic was left on the doors, scrary looking shower corners, etc...
but these things can all be improved with time!

Modern, spacious apartment.
Very poor communication. The location provided on Booking.com is wrong, the correct location is 1.5KM away, a pain to find. There is NO internet - the staff wanted me to pay 15,000 CFA to use the internet, which is outrageous considering that's what a night at other hotels I stayed in Mali (which had internet for free) costs. They even had the nerve to try charge me for electricity, despite the price at Booking clearly stating that electricity is included.

Nice and clean place
