Absolutely loved it and will definitely be coming back soon!

Jaye and Keith were exceptional hosts - very generous, thoughtful and warm people, who went out of their way to made me feel truly welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend to stay with them if one chooses on spending some time in peace and quite, for a creative solo trip or if you’re planning to venture out and explore the local/nearby areas. Breakfast was very delicious, nourishing and well balanced as well. Very clean, spacious and modern facilities, the most beautiful view and serene atmosphere overall. A very comfortable place to stay with a very kind & helpful host.

The location was near enough to provide reasonable access to the coast and also in a lovely peaceful area. The breakfast was exceptional with a change of food each day as well as stable items.

Disappointing

Location, breakfast, view

As soon as we entered the property, we noticed a very damp and musty smell. The bathroom fan worked intermittently, causing lots of steam which made the whole area very damp and unpleasant. The heated towel rail was only programmed to come on for a short period of time each day, therefore the towels never dried. The towels were old and thin. Poor quality pillows.

Nice friendly B&B tucked away in a quiet village location

Spacious, nicely furnished room, separate dressing area with fridge and tea/coffee making facilities, modern shower room with large double sized shower, comfortable bed, very quiet and peaceful surroundings and lovely views over the valley. The room was in a self contained area accessed separately to the main house so feels very private. Hosts were friendly and accommodating, good communication ahead of arrival

Lovely property and hosts, in every aspect

Great location in the middle of a small village, 200 metres from the pub that served excellent local food! Clean, spacious, comfortable room with large bathroom. Continental breakfast all laid out with good array of facilities if you wanted to bring and cook your own breakfast. Dog friendly. Plenty of secure parking space. Good instructions for locating the property in the dark.

Perhaps could provide meat and cheese to make the breakfast even more continental.

Exceptional

A very comfortable and spacious apartment. Scrupulously clean with wonderful views over the countryside. Nice to have a kitchen area to wash flasks etc. More than we expected, the locals were very welcoming and the community shop excellent.

Excellent high quality place set in lovely countryside with a warm welcome.

Excellent in every way! Beautifully presented place surrounded by lovely countryside where we spent a very happy Christmas. The flat was very comfortable and well equipped with high quality furnishings and delicious organic produce provided for breakfast. Jaye and Keith were most welcoming and helpful. They recommended several excellent walks straight from the property which made the most of the varied countryside and the coastal scenery. The local pub was 5 minutes walk away and served excellent food. Thanks Jaye and Keith for a great stay.

It was the perfect location to from which to discover the beautiful North Devon countryside and coast.

The best things about our room were the very comfortable bed, the marvellous view from a large bedroom window and the two comfortable armchairs provided so that we could read or watch tv in comfort. Our hosts were very helpful and pleasant and provided us with a good varied breakfast and a microwave so that we could heat up ready meals easily if we didn’t want to eat out. The whole atmosphere was relaxed and easy going which made for a very enjoyable holiday.

The ten or so stairs down to our lower floor room could prove difficult for someone with a walking disability but I found them quire easy to manage.

Beautiful location and comfy stay

A lovely, clean room with beautiful views and an awesome breakfast. Loved the fresh fruit and variations with the toast. Jaye was a great host offering help and recommendations with local walking/ maps. Great TV options for relaxing evenings. The B&B was located in a beautiful village with great bus to both Barnstaple, and Lynton and Lynmouth. The highlight was a walk through the local church where we were greeted by Kipper the local cat, who so dutily gave us a tour. Local pub/restaurant does great food and there's a community shop nearby.

It was a great base for our week in Parracombe exploring the local and coastal areas. The only minor downside was the last bus from Lynton back to Parracombe left at 6.10pm. But if you book a taxi in advance it's no problem. Travelling without a car is very doable.

The bedroom was lovely and the bed was fabulous and all very clean

It would have been nice to use the part of the garden that was in the sun beneath our window as the views were beautiful

A very pleasant stay in a stunning environment.

Very nice breakfast with freshly baked bread, fresh fruit and cereal, yoghurt and fruit juice. Jaye was extremely helpful in suggesting places to visit, and enjoys sharing her love of Exmoor with her guests.

Good central spot for exploring local area. Comfortable b and b

Very good non cooked breakfast laid out and in fridge. Accommodated for food intolerances. Pretty village, interesting old church NB village in a deep valley so limited phone signal. Both rooms on lower ground of house with shared kitchen -would be good for 2 couples sharing or family. Lovely view from bedroom. Good WiFi

would have liked to stay longer

very clean, comfortable and quiet with a lovely view. Tea, coffee, fridge, fresh milk all provided. Breakfast was self service, toast, fruit,yoghurt and cereal.

Cooked breakfast not an option.

Loved our stay everything was left for bfast shared kitchen area u can use microwave toaster and fridge in your room fresh fruit left daily lovely home maid bread cereals jams etc hot cross buns on Easter Sunday the hosts are lovely and there dog was so friendly we would visit again if staying in the area
