cancelled us one day before stay the day after our wedding.

All inclusive breakfast was excellent. Location was unbeatable. Incredibly scenic and peaceful. Staff were all lovely.
The shower was temperamental. Water stopped for a couple of minutes, presumably due to poor pressure when other showers also being used at the same time? Only two beers on tap.
4.3
Lovely little pub in the middle of Exmoor National Park. Beautiful walks around, and very friendly staff!
We were quite disappointed not to have hot water after getting drenched on a walk, but except for that all was great.
4.3
Very welcoming hosts and friendly staff, great location, very comfortable room with a great view of the river, excellent food and drinks at a reasonable price,

Lovely warm welcome from the staff and Willow the black labrador 😊
Single room was tiny, the tap on the bathroom sink wasn't secure, the TV remote was missing. Seating at breakfast was cramped hardly enough room to move my knife and fork while eating as I was on the end of a table with four people I didn't know.
4.3
Perfect location, fell asleep to the sound of a babbling brook
if you are staying here, eat and drink elsewhere. the food was passable but the drinks were extortionate (and were from London!)
4.3
We loved location
Rockford appears to have changed ownership which doesn't but is still using previous owners website which is misleading as the services and food have altered significantly and not for the better.
Lots of towels
Comfy bed
They changed kettle for us as first one didn't work
Fires not lit on a very wet evening. The pub was cold.
Food was poor and all bought in
The place felt grubby
Missing light shade in bedroom
Crockery was dirty
They no longer sell fishing permits but are still advertising
Cheesy music in lounge
Dog on sofa then found hair in food.
Better selection of tea
Being told we couldn't eat later than 6.45 because manager was on his own.
No ginger ale available

The host Lee and nikki were very plesant from the beginning untill the end of are stay, the food was really good and plentiful, the Inn itself has lots of character, a real gem of a place on exmoor. Lee and nikki are very hard working, keep up the excellent work guys see you again when next your way thanks
There wasn't any thing I didn't like about my stay at the rockford Inn.

The hosts were great, loved the location, the room was wonderful.
Nothing about our stay however my daughter was in another room and had a toilet roll that must have fallen down the toilet and then put pack on the holder as it was rock hard

Very nice. Lovely friendly staff.
All good.

Breakfast good. Staff very good and helpful.
The weather and the power cut, but maybe the staff couldn't help that.

A perfect location for those wanting to get away from the busyness of life, a small, friendly cosy place in the middle of a deep gorge, quiet and tranquil, not for those wanting to be on the phone all time, but good internet access.
4.3
Management changeover so not a true reflection of the premises.. Staff were friendly and helpful. I asked for an extra sheet, which was supplied.
Premises is tired, needs updating, but not surprising given the pressure of the past couple of years & difficulty recruiting staff.
Bed not comfortable.

A lovely country pub with great ales and nice home cooked food. Very nice freshly cooked breakfast. In a fantastic location with walking from the front door. Wonderful friendly hosts who top off your stay. Would love to go back again and wish Mark and Claire all the success in their next adventure. Thank you for a lovely break.
Nothing I can think of

Lovely break with my parents in a nice homely country pub. Lovely home cooked food and nothing too much trouble from the hosts Mark and Claire, even with me being a flexitarian. Loved the banter during our stay and I wish you all the luck in your new adventure. India

The location and the staff, and the food and the beverages, were all excellent. Highly recommended.
Mattress was a little uncomfortable.

Lots of character; a traditional inn with a cosy friendly vibe
I enjoyed the many collections as well as the delicious food and drinks.
A great location for country walks and exploring the area.
All was well.
4.3
The quality of accommodation and food was excellent.
However what really made it special was the friendliness and helpfulness of Mark and Claire the hosts who my wife and I had many interesting and pleasant conversations with.
There wasn't anything we didn't like. Everything about the hotel xnd hosts we entirely to our satisfaction.
4.3
Fantastic location for walking along the East Lyn River. Beer straight out of barrel was excellent
Could have been more vegetarian choices on the menu
4.3
Location was wonderful, on the river with walks in all directions.
Cozy place.
Slept very well!
They were understaffed, meaning as a guest you needed to give plenty of notice for eating, eat in specified slots, and generally be on tip toes a bit around staff needs.
