The beds were comfortable and the space was big. Location was great once we got in
The check in process was hard. Appartement Monceau requires an outside application to book and reserve. If you are going to book this apartment do not do it through booking.com and do it directly from them. They asked me to pay twice through the application, I sent them pictures of my payment confirmation emails and they still didn’t believe me. I’m also still not sure if I will get charged through booking.com or not. Overall a bad process. They asked for screen grabs of your passport and credit cards through the booking.com chat with links that didn’t exist. The whole process felt like phishing.
Also good to note there is only one bathroom and it is off of one of the two bedrooms.
They will charge you for any dirty sheets, face cloths, towels, dish towels, etc. So maybe consider bringing your own if there’s any concern.

spacious and quiet
I expected a professional service for this type of price level. We arrived upon one of the coldest day in Paris, the apartment was very cold, no heat had been turned on. The water boiling tank was old so we did not get any warm water before 24 hours later.
The person in charge of the check in did not know where and how to turn the warm water on and was insolent when I called to complain saying that we arrived 20 minutes earlier than scheduled so the appartement could not be heat up as planned. In this old Haussmanian apartment it takes at least 48 hours to have a comfortable warmth!
And to top everything we were woken up by insane renovation sounds at 8 in the morning the 23d of December. Unbearable sounds that continued 2 days obliging us to revise all our family Christmas diner plan…. as we could not stay in.
When again I called Appartement Parisien about this, they said they had no ideas and that they would do a commercial gesture to plaster the wounds.
we are the 23rd of January, we left the 27th of December, I have called 15 times.
And I have not received any compensation.
It is really disappointing
