Great stay, good value.

Walking distance to Old town (albeit the stairs), with Free parking. Very nice view from the balcony. Unit is clean with coffee machine. Comfy living and dinning space.

We were very pleased with the location and the apartment, we would happily return again.

The apartment had wonderful views of the water, it was an easy access to town (although 150 stairs to town) it was easy access to a convenience store 2 minutes away and the stairs to town are very manageable. Having a parking space included was a bonus. The apartment is very comfortable and clean. the terrace with awning was a perfect spot for breakfast or a meal.

There was a parking garage next door to the building so a few people gather at the top to look at the view so they are overlooking the terrace but it really didn't bother us. The toilet doesn't flush that well.

Pictures didn't do the apartment justice, it really is lovely and looks recently renovated. View from the terrace is excellent for a morning coffee. Great sized rooms and a well equipped kitchen.

Villa Ahava offers an excellent location and covered parking. I highly recommend this apt.

The location was excellent. The host met us at the property and answered all of our questions and provided plenty of suggestions for restaurants and sights to see outside of the main city. Covered parking was a huge bonus especially due to the close proximity of the old town. The apartment was much larger than expected giving us plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our 5 days in Dubrovnik. The outdoor terrace was a great spot to have morning coffee or happy hour drinks at night. Fully equipped kitchen did not disappoint with its full-size refrigerator and even a dish washer! A/C worked great, and the bedrooms were quiet providing a good night's sleep. Excellent communication with the hosts through the Booking app.

The apartment was very well furnished, location was in the best spot, from terrace you can see old city of dubrovnik, it was quite place. You find everything you need in it. 5 min walk to old city. You have very close supermarket and bakery. Vedran was the best host I have ever met. Dont think twice to choose this apartment. Also was very clean apartment which for me is the most important thing. 10 of 10

Wonderful place.

It’s centrally located. 10 minutes walk to old town. Spacious and clean. Parking space makes it lot easier for us. No needs to carry our luggages up to stairs as many people have to do it. Beds are comfortable. Patio with view is a plus

Great stay at beautiful villa.

Very nice and spacious apartment/stand alone villa - very private and quiet despite being close to major road. Beautiful view of old town from the small balcony. High ceilings, historic property that has been renovated to a high standard. A/C in main room and bedrooms worked well during scorching august heat. A 10 minute walk to Main gate of Dubrovnik wall. More difficult walk uphill coming back but not hard.

The living room furniture is not as comfortable as we would like personally, but that is a minor quibble. Overall everything is very nice!

One of my BEST stay in Croatia

We spent 2 weeks in Croatia and Villa Ahava is one of our best stay. The house is spacious, clean and well decorated. I can tell the host has spent lots of efforts to maintain the apartment in such a cozy setting. It is not only practical but decorated with taste. It’s a mini art gallery / museum. Most of the electricity appliances are high-end ones rather than cheaply brands usually found in other apartments, good fridge, TV, oven, cooking stove (even I don’t cook) and EXCELLENT coffee machine with rich ground coffee provided by the host. Host Vedran is easy to communicate and responsive. Check-in and check-out process easy. The house is within walking distance to the old town and the beach. Two extra bonus: (1) private parking - parking is a disaster In Dubrovnik. HRK50 per hour of parking is a ripe-off. So the private parking in this villa saved us!!! (2) excellent view from the terrace. It made my day.

It takes 161 steps up from old town to the apartment but it is expected when I made the booking. And I believe most of the houses in Dubrovnik require the similar level of walking up. But the private parking and excellent view from terrace and the nice condition of the house compensated the 161 steps.

The owner's neighbor met us and was pleasant and helpful. We were later than we expected because we were held up at the airport getting our rental car. He guided us to the parking spot and helped us get situated. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the sofa beds were made up because they knew we had 6 people in our group. We enjoyed our stay. A small grocery store was only a few minutes walk away. The old city was an easy downhill walk of less than 10 minutes to the Pile Gate. The uphill walk was slower, but fine. The manager allowed us to leave our car parked at the property after checkout which was very helpful as well. We would recommend this property and would happily stay again.
