Everything. The 360 view, the food, the owner and the staff and even the dog. Everyone makes me feel like home. It was amazing! I would definitely come back!
The road access to the property was still in construction on the rain season it can get muddy and only with 4 wheels or hike you can access it but it’s all worth it.

I had the pleasure of staying at Annapurna Eco Village during my recent travels to Nepal and I must say, it was a delightful experience! Nestled in the heart of the mountais this family-owned hotel is a testament to the region rich culture and heritage.
The staff at the hotel were extremely welcoming and hospitable, making me feel right at home from the moment I stepped inside. They were always on hand to offer suggestions for places to visit.
One of the standout features of this hotel was undoubtedly the food - it was simply amazing! Every meal was freshly prepared with locally sourced ingredients and bursting with flavor. Whether it was the hearty breakfasts or the delicious dinners, I always looked forward to mealtime.
The accommodation was comfortable and clean, with all the necessary amenities that made my stay more enjoyable. The communal areas were also great, providing the perfect opportunities to meet and connect with other travelers from around the world.
In summary, if you're looking for a hotel that offers the perfect blend of excellent hospitality, homemade food, and a genuine family atmosphere, then the Eco Village is definitely the place for you. I highly recommend it!

Amazing location and wonderful staff. Everything is environmentally friendly and organic. Delicious food.
There was quite a lot of dead bugs in the ceilings/window sills in both the rooms and the main area - once you notice them you begin to notice more and more. Think the placecould do with a deep clean . I also think the rooms are quite expensive for what you get - each room could do with a lamp, table or rug - something to make them cosy.

We liked the location right in the middle of a genuine village. The family is so sweet, welcoming. Lots of smiles experienced up there! Special mention to the good mood of the staff in the kitchen. You rock guys.
The yoga hall and yoga mat could be cleaned more often to make of the space a more welcoming one. Because the yoga hall is just superb. It juts needs to be better maintained.

comfortable, beautiful setting.

The location, the hosts, the culture of the place, the food, atmosphere, the fantastic view. The garden, and just being there is amazing! Woke up to an amazing view of the Annapurna, enjoyed the great local food with fresh organic vegetables.
A bit pricey, our room wasn't the best. There is no running hot water, so showers are tough. Many other places in the region offer running solar hot water for rooms much cheaper.
Leaky toilet.
lots of flies in the dining room.
Overall great tho for the location.

Amazing place in all aspects. We were very happy to have found this place and spent 8 days there. The view of the mountains is stunning. The family who runs it has a great eco vision that they like to share and they are the kindest people that make you feel welcome and at home.

Stunning location and the staff and owners are the most genuine people we ever met

Watching the mountains from my balcony and the excellent food.
I wish that there had been hot water for a shower. They have solar power, but it had been cloudy for a few days.

- Amazing views in every direction from the premises and rooms. Room 10 has an amazing sunrise view from its balcony (with hammock)
- All staff extremely friendly and helpful
- All meals were great and very reasonably priced
- Room is fairly basic but comfortable and clean - extra blankets provided for when it drops a bit cool at night
- Was able to arrange a one-day guided walk to Dhampus with Navi and Tomo the dog
I guess the only thing that would have made it better would have been a hot shower. However, hot water is available from the solar heated tank that you can take to your room in a bucket to wash with.

The location is amazing and the views are stunning. You will get unobstructed views of Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Fishtail.
However, keep in mind this is an eco-resort and hence amenities are basic. For eg. you will need to get hot water from a solar heater outside the room (that is really the only minor inconvenience). The temp of the room is fine and you won't need heaters (we went in early Jan).
These are small inconveniences but the room rents are very reasonable. There is one cook, so you will need to tell him what you want well before in time. He is very accommodating. Also, the road up to the Assam hilltop is under construction so you should be in touch with the property managers and tell them your arrival times etc. Regular small taxis are unable to go up to the resort so they will arrange a 4x4 car to pick you up which you will have to pay for. They speculate it will take one year for the road to be constructed.
In conclusion, I would prefer staying here again instead of the very busy Pokhara Valley. The morning views of the mountain range (sunrise and sunset) and the crystal clear night sky make up for the small inconveniences. We went for a tour around the three hilly villages around the area which was a nice experience. Also, they also have a dog (Tomo) on the resort who is not very playful. But the neighbouring property has a little puppy who is excitable and makes up Tomo's low enthusiasm :)
Nothing really

- Stunning views of the Fishtail and Annapurna mountains and a nice getaway from the city
- Family owned property - they were very friendly and helpful
- Sustainable property - they grow their own fruits, vegetables and use renewable energy and water harvesting
- Rooms are very basic - they need to be refurbished
- Lacked basic amenities like hot water in the shower, shower curtains etc
- Cleanliness can be improved
- Quality of food needs improvement
- The road to the location must be improved by the municipality, it is a very harsh and bumpy trip

The host and his family are absolutely amazing. They take good care of you and you almost bond with them really well over late night bonfire and deep talks.
It goes without saying the stay is as good as the staff there, they are amazing and the view in which the place is located is an absolute treat to the eyes. Located in a valley surrounded by Himalaya range. Every sunrise is a treat and feels like heaven. The food is home grown and best part is everything they use is sustainable and they understand the importance of sustainable from the hot water system to the sand filter drinking water. You have to go and experience it . I recommend everyone to try this place and you will surely have a great time and treks.

The location is absolutely stunning, in a tiny village with wonderful views. The place is run by a lovely family and the food was delicious. It felt like a little paradise. We will definitely go back.
There is no hot water in the rooms, you just take a bucket from a tank outside. But then again it is totally consistent with their eco-friendly approach, so it was not an issue for us.

Astok was a wonderful and welcoming host who even walked with us for 20 minutes to the jeep to go back to Pokhara. Beautiful views of the mountains at dawn We were provided with an early morning cup of tea to watch the view. The food was delicious and it was a very comfortable room. Highly recommended
