We enjoyed a most memorable family stay in a breathtaking setting

beautiful setting & exceptional views privacy well equipped, comfortable villa fireplace, jacuzzi many angles inside and around the villa to enjoy stunning views from warm & helpful host

lack of secure access control quite pricey (would have loved a heated pool)

Superb

Always wanted to stay at the Barton Villas and the opportunity arose when we had to return from Swellendam early. Stunning views from The Dove Villa, close to Hermanus and the Bot River Vineyards. Massive place with all the amenities even saw the resident Blue Cranes. Had it's own pool and jaccuzi, we were only there for 3 nights but had a great time

The electrics for the jaccuzi need checking. Need more temporary lighting for the inevitable power shedding.

Peaceful & a Relaxing Family BreakAway!

Exactly what we wanted, a break from it all.A great family getaway by the fireplace,movies and hot chocolate. Beautiful scenery with exceptional staff support.The fridge stopped working & on Christmas Day our fridge was replaced,the assistance to get us a fridge was amazing.Thanks to the maintenance team & Anele who constantly was in touch throughout the query.

Good location, close to Whale watching area at Hermanus.

Know that you will not get hair dryers or load shedding lighting options. Toilet rolls have to be requested for a longer stay or buy it yourself in the town 10 min away.

Perfect country Villa for friends or family stay.

Very spacious country villa, with all amenities needed for a self-catering trip away. Comfortable beds, feather pillows, fully equipped kitchen including Bosch dishwasher and fridge. We loved the jacuzzi/hot tub and pool, and outside boma eating area. The views are amazing, and lots of big windows make the Villa airy and spacious. The staff are personal, hands-on and caring.

Nothing to dislike. It’s a good, honest, well-equipped country Villa for a few friends or family to share.

Family wedsing anniversary weekend

It was spacious with the best views and had so much to do with facilities to entertain all. The jacuzzis were absolute winners! It was suited for all weather conditions whether inside or outside. The hostess was very helpful and friendly and went out of her way.

No aircon or fans in the room.

Clean and comfortable stay with lots to do

Loved the location, very neat and comfortable stay. The communication and service from Anelle is excellent. We stayed there in the winter, and the fireplace worked great. I do suggest to install panel heaters and electric blankets for guests during the winter. The place is a paradise for kids and parents , with loads of outdoor and indoor activities. The jacuzzi was ready and waiting for us when we got there. A real treat, thank you!

Kitchen can perhaps be kitted out a bit better with a wider variety of serving dishes, plasticware etc.

Vineyard escape

Perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The villas have wonderful views, and are within easy drive to hermanus. Facilities are top notch. Anele was extremely helpful and available throughout our stay.

Beautiful haven

Travelled with family and teenagers Everything was wonderful Dove Villa Peaceful, beautiful surroundings Very spacious, neat and clean Wonderful pool about 9-10m long plus jacuzzi Also undercover entertainment area with table tennis. The electric piano was a big plus! Heron villa: large spacious Accomodation, lovely entertainment area and also a large 9-10m long pool Easy walk around the dam to enjoy the views

Loved the place! Heron: A table on the balcony would be nice to sit and enjoy the view One of the bedrooms only has a bath (no shower) which some some people may not like

Anele was friendly and helpful. The place was clean and spacious. We had an outstanding time!

The TV is too small though... was a bit disappointing...
