We loved our stay here. Deb is a wonderful host and the place is very clean and cute. We loved having a place to sit together and plan our day while watching deer frolic near by. Hill City is the perfect central location to see the Black Hills.
We have no complaints.

Great location central to the Black Hills.
Beds small and not good mattresses.

Like the home atmosphere and being on an acreage.. Beds were fine. Bedrooms were nice and spacious. Proprietor is friendly, helpful, & generous. Helpful appliances available for preparing breakfast w/o a kitchen, eg egg cooker, electric pot, coffeemaker, toaster & microwave. The price was right!
The "living space" is a little small/tight for 4 adults especially as it includes counter space & fridge for any meal/snack prep. The only sink, is in the bathroom, but is a good size. No cup or plate that are good in microwave.
Sound carries between the living space and the proprietors downstairs living quarters. Wasnt a big problem, but makes it less private & you want to be considerate.

Deb was a very kind and accommodating host. She brought us some pastries from a local bistro the first morning of our stay. Thank you Deb!

Our hostess was very accommodating and made our stay comfortable and relaxed. She shared local information, her crockpot, and supplied use with a new grill and camp chairs.
The common area was a little small but the large bedrooms, porch, and use of grounds made up for that minor inconvenience.. Location is great. We were happy at the Treehouse.

The quiet a few blocks off the beaten path only added to the view of the deer in the back yard. We loved having a “congregating” area where we could talk without sitting in someone’s room. The price was right and we all felt it was a most excellent choice.
Shower head decided to not work so we enjoyed the good soak in the tub.

It was only a mile from town and far enough away to be away from the town. The owner was friendly and there was coffee and tea provided for us. The rooms were spacious, and the bathroom was large. It is a very nice place to stay for a get away vacation. Hill City is great little town.

We are in town at different places

The location of this property is great. Hill City is a good central base for exploring the Black Hills and Deb's place is a little off the beaten path near the edge of town. The surroundings are peaceful and incredibly quiet. The bedrooms are spacious with incredibly comfortable beds and pillows (this coming from a bed and pillow snob).
The common area is a bit small if several people intend to hang out together. Our party of 5 worked around that by borrowing the garden seating out on the deck for a couple of extra chairs - so not really a big deal.

Deb was very nice and Delia was such a pleasure. We had a great breakfast also.
My car didn't want to start in the morning. Had to change the battery in the key fob.
