Sehr schön renoviertes Gebäude. Gutes Frühstück. Sehr gute Lage.
Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
Kurze Öffnungszeiten der Rezeption. Laute Kirchenglocken.

Very nice hotel located in the heart of Le Locle. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms are nicely decorated. The hotel has also an excellent restaurant that we all enjoyed very much. With little further improvements (e.g. see below), this hotel will be on its way to get a 4 star rating.
It is hard to find something negative to this hotel but here are some thoughts. The breakfast buffet was very limited and we regularly had to request the staff to refill with food. Also in the bathroom, provided shower gel and shampoo do not last for more than one day and are not replaced. Very tiny bin in the room. There are plenty of parking spaces nearby but during the day, limited to two hours maximum, however no issue at night.

Large and clean room. Good WiFi.
The hotel is really basic (no coffee in the room, no good desk etc). Unfortunately when we were there the restaurant was closed, because the chef was sick. There was no bar / terrace like advertised. Breakfast was very basic and the first day we had to wait 15 mins to get a coffee / service because no one was around. Location is in the centre of Le Locle, which is not a very exciting town, but a good location to go for walking in the area. Parking is not included and expensive (12 CHF per day). Overall, based on the grade we were expecting way more and were disappointed.

The staff were friendly and amazingly helpful!
They just couldn’t do enough to help
No tea/ coffee facilities in the room and only 1glass to drink from.

- great location to explore the region
- nicely renovated building with modern & functional rooms
- great host who is very knowledgeable and very kind & flexible
- wonderful kitchen with honest food
- quiet little side street from main road
- close to local church, so church bells go off every 15 min

The owner / host is great and all the staff are very helpful and polite. The food and service are very good too and the hotel is well positioned in the centre of town. In particular, the breakfast is great and I enjoyed a very nice dinner with wine there.
Parking can be an issue (but I knew that in advance having stayed there before) and there are no leisure facilities which is a shame. There is a gym and pool locally however.

very friendly staff!

The experience exceeded our expectations. The recently renovated historical building has kept his spirit, while being absolutely contemporary. The staff was exceptionally hospitable and accommodating.

Like a jewel at the end of Le Locle. Boutique style, new, clean, cosy and the food, all is done on site…I mean “all”…and excellent. We took one dinner there and it was delicious.
You need to go in this area, it is the place to stay.
Very satisfied.

Very good restaurant and breakfast buffet

Boutique hotel that opened in spring 2020. 22 rooms to the whole place plus a restaurant. The rooms (we had 204 and 206) are spacious, functional and pretty (each shows wooden beams and boasts antique furniture) and very quiet. Mathieu, the manager, is very attentive, helpful and kind. Dinner at the restaurant was awesome, we had a variety of dishes off the small menu and liked all of them. Breakfast comes extra and is varied with fresh bread, cold cuts, cheese, pastries (sweet and salty) and eggs.
The parents didn't sleep well, not that we know why because we all liked the beds!

Very nice hotel in an old building, perfectly renovated, each room with art by a different artist. Friendly reception, large room, renovated bathrooms. The restaurant looked very inviting, french suisine, unfortunately I did not have the time to test it. Location is in walking distance from everything, yet in a quite street. Will go there again.

Breakfast was delicious and there were several sweet and savory choices in addition to the standard fruit/cereal/cheese/bread breakfast. The breakfast room is lovely and open and in good weather you can sit on the terrace.
We had to park out car fairly far away from the hotel. But honestly, it wasn't a big deal and the hotel staff was helpful in telling us where to park and when we needed to move our car.

Excellent homemade food (especially the bread) for breakfast, and a very decent choice of beer for dinner. Spacious and comfortable in all areas of the hotel. Very nice terrace in front for evening drinks.
Only that it detracts from the pleasures of a good breakfast to see that staff are ignoring the mask-wearing mandate when preparing food, even when they have a cough.

Our second visit here. Grand to be there and experience the fantastic restaurant in these pandemic times. Lots of culture to visit in the area too.
