Free bread, bottled water, hair dryer, clean towels, free coffee, well-lit unit
water between shower and the cr is shared. it won’t let you use simultaneously. One should be turned off first so you can use it from the other side.
smells like an old unit. i think a dehumidifier could help ☺️

It is very affordable, accessible and comfortable. The care taker, Ms. Mhae, is very accommodating and approachable. The room is clean with complete appliances that are allowed to be used. The shower room is separated from the toilet. There is a water heater and bidet (malakas ang water pressure). May welcome loaf of bread at instant coffee sachets.

The ambiance
I wasn't able go to swimming due to general cleaning

- the smell of the comfort room was really bad.
- there's an army ants covered on the bed headboard.
- the place is uncomfortable to stay and relax.
- the staff members are not observing the silence of the hallway and at the stockroom area.

It was quite cozy and clean. I stayed in another room in the same building about a month before...i think it was called Cityview Staycation. For about the same price, The Penn Room is by far better. I think it was good value for price, and i would recommend.
There was nothing that i was dissatisfied with.

We had a pleasant stay in the room, and Ate Mae was very accommodating and easy to reach if I had any questions. I would recommend this room to anyone visiting Tagaytay.🙂❤️

The room was so clean and the area is near to different establishments but the most thing that I love to this property is Ms. Mae the staff assisted us in our stay. She is very helpful and calm.

The room was super clean. Staff was super attentive and accommodating. She even texted us prior to the booking date just to remind us. I'm greatly satisfied with our stay. The hotel was within walking distance from pretty much everything.
Cityland is right across the street from McDonald's Tagaytay. Downstairs shops, restos and good cheap tapsis. I'll definitely come back and book the same room again. Pricing is super affordable! The A/C is really cold and balcony view was satisfactory. Got my own smoking area 😊 . Has inside parking so that my car wasn't baking out in the sun. Hot shower and toilet is separate. Nice king size bed with its own little Sala set for TV and lounging. No mosquitoes to worry about even if you leave the balcony door open for ventilation. The room is pretty much complete.. small fridge, hot pot to make coffee, basic silverware and dishes. There's even a sari sari store on the same floor (Rm. 414) for basic and immediate needs. I'm quite impressed. Much thanks to Ate Mhae for taking great care of us. The Penn Room ... A must booking for us. Great for couples!
The only downfall was the pool was under maintenance. But hopefully next time it will be ready for use 😉

Ate Mae is so accommodating and easy to contact. I like the room because of its cleanliness and location. The aircon was soooo cold hehe and the shower heater is working. I love the bed, it is comfy and clean.

We celebrated my partner's birthday here and he loved the room! Fit for our celebaration. We would like to commend the service of Ma'am Mae. She's very kind. Til' next time. 😁
Wish there's a netflix subscription and more appliances to use. Nonetheless, it was a fun experience
