The style of the house, a building of the 1930s' Portuguese burgoisie with all the elements and deco of the time all original and with the modern and necessary additions of our time made with very rafinate taste. The rooms, the dinning, the salon, terrasse or patio, the games area in the cave... evth is perfect placed, raffiné and with taste. A time travel to a forgotten past.
The host, a very kind, lovely and patient Lady (with a capital L) who transported us to this past with the first visit when we entered.
Just 100 m to the coast of Porto Av do Brasil, a beautiful street full of life, restaurants and beaches of the Foz district with the beautiful and impressive view of the Ocean and the estuary of the river Duero/Douro and the lighthouses. The street where the house is located is very peaceful and without noises. We fully recommend it. For sure, if we travel in family to Porto, we will try to get back there.
I cannot see anyth: we give a 10. Even if the garage is not so high, I could leave my van outside in the street without parking problems.

The house was beautiful as mentioned in the pictures. The Foz area was super chique. The beach very close and great. Uber brought us in town easily. The house had everything you need.
We could have appreciated some comfortable outdoor furniture to sit in the garden.

Fantastic historic town house in a great location near the sea front. Nuno was a great host, waiting for us at the property when we arrived (30 mins late due to flight delays) and giving us a great little tour of his family's historic town house. He also responded immediately when we contacted him with a few questions and minor requests. We felt heartbroken for him when he told/showed us of some damage caused by the previous visitors, including to an 19th century antique crystal chandelier in one of the bedrooms that would cost thousands to repair - we just hope it doesn't put him off continuing to run the house as a holiday rental.
Nothing we didn't like.

It seemed that we returned from medieval centuries, that is a perfect memories from Porto. Atmosphere and furniture exceeded all expectations. A big surprise is a billiard at the ceiling. The kitchen is equipped with all modern devices - dishwasher, coffee machine, etc. Iron and a good hairdryer is available too. Nice white towels.
I just want to warn young visitors that antique furniture is not as comfortable as a modern one. And it would be good to have a towel for the beach. The rest was excellent

Interior was exactly as shown on the pictures. Host was very friendly and showed us around. Even had some fruits ready for us. Communication via booking.com was uncomplicated. Location close to the Atlantic was perfect. Uber is always available, so no problem getting around.
