L’emplacement de l’hôtel était idéal, possibilité de prendre le bus jusqu’au centre de porto facilement, le rooftop est super avec son bar et sa piscine, hôtel très propre et personnel très sympathique, nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux !

Sehr schönes Hotel mit außergewöhnlichem Ausblick und kleinen Verbesserungsvorschlägen

Nach Zimmerwechsel: Sehr schönes Doppelzimmer zur Alleinbenutzung nach hinten raus mit kleinem Austritt (sehr schmaler Balkon) ohne Aufpreis. Grandioser Ausblick von der Hotelterasse auf den in den Atlantik mündenden Douro und auf das offene Meer. Herrlich! Gehobene Preise für Getränke in der Bar oben (0,4 Bier für 6 Euro, 0,15 Wein für 4 Euro), aber noch erschwinglich. Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption. Top Zimmerreinigung durch das Housekeeping. Mehrere Aufzüge, sehr komfortabel. Nahe am besten Stadtstrand von Porto in Foz (Praia da Luz), gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für Speisen oben auf der Hotel-Terrasse passt nicht: eine Scheibe Toast mit Frischkäsegrundlage und 2 kleinen Scheiben Räucherlachs drauf für 8,50 EUR ist überteuert. Tagsüber Sonnenschirme auf der Terrasse oben wären schön und ein wenig Hintergrundmusik / Chill-Out-Musik würden die Location erheblich attraktiver machen! Bedienung am Pool und im Bereich der Sonnenliegen (auf der Dachterrasse) findet meiner Beobachtung nach nicht statt, vielleicht könnte man das anbieten? Frühstück habe ich nur einmal genutzt, Qualität (Aufschnitt, Tütenrührei, Saft) war o.k., aber eher durchschnittlich, kleiner Frühstücksraum, sehr laut/hellhörig, wenn dieser zu Zweidritteln belegt ist.

Overall enjoyed the roof terrace

Really great location, easy to get a bus into the main town. On the beachfront were great to run or simply watch the morning fishermen and even dolphin sighting off the pier.

We got allocated a room which had a bathroom designed specifically for guests with mobility issues which was a bit unusual as we had not requested this and the toilet seat was off centre. We had brought a car and there is parking for an additional fee but at check in we had an unhelpful encounter with the front desk initially reporting a problem with the lift access to the underground parking which moments later didn’t seem to be an issue and proceeded to offer the parking access! Was all rather random.

Wonderful stay.

We loved the barman in the roof top bar (Carlos) - what a fabulous example of wonderfully warm and helpful person! The breakfast staff too are wonderful. Excellent choice for breakfast. Breathtaking views. A beautiful hotel.

We were worried about the number of cars broken into when parked at the front of the hotel. We have been to this hotel 4 times in the past year and have seen evidence of at least 2 break-ins. There should probably be a warning to guests to park elsewhere.

Un sitio recomendable a un buen precio

Es un sitio cómodo, limpio con muchos detalles cuidados. Está justo en la desembocadura del Duero y las vistas son impresionantes. El staff muy bien, todos muy amables. Lo mejor la piscina de arriba con vistas al mar.

La cama no era muy cómoda. No tenían mucha opción sin gluten.

It was very enjoyable.

The room was extremely comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Staff were pleasant and courteous. It was so convenient for the bus to Porto and it’s location in Foz meant my stay was relaxing.

Kicsit többet várnék ilyen összegért.

Óceán part közel. Tiszta szoba. Belülről sokkal szebb mint kívülről. Tetőn medencével és bárral. Szomszédban van egy nagyon hangulatos kis étterem, foglalni kell, mert kevés a hely.

Reggelit az 5 nap alatt egyszer ettem, nem mondanám különösebben extrának. Kávé porból készül. Belváros messze. Külseje kicsit lelakottnak hat. Folyamatos kommunikációs probléma (beszélik az angolt, de maradni kell a tőmondatoknál, mert hamar elvesztik a fonalat)

Lovely hotel for a break!

The staff at this hotel are really friendly, the rooms are clean and the breakfast very nice, with a lot of choice. It's a little far from the city centre but this means it's quite quiet, with the sea and a park close by. It's a pretty bus or tram ride along the Douro to get into the centre of Porto from the hotel. It's easy to find nice restaurants in the vicinity.

Ich würde dieses Hotel mit Sicherheit nicht noch einmal buchen

Lage war gut direkt am Wasser und am Wochenende kostenfreie Parkplätze vor der Tür

Einchecken war erst ab 15:30 Uhr möglich und die Dame am Empfang war nicht kooperativ diese Zeit vorzuziehen und hat uns bis 15:35 Uhr warten lassen bis ein anderer Kollege übernahm. Zimmer war die Nummer 108 direkt am Fahrstuhl und direkt über einer kleinen Seitenstraße mit Blick auf Appartements 5 m gegenüber und damit extrem laut, gerade nachts. Das Frühstück war unterer Durchschnitt, man wurde satt.

Great views, the breakfast was always good and it’s in a good spot to walk around and explore the city with little hassle.

Charmantes Hotel mit wunderschöner Dachterrasse

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Das Meer und der Strand befinden sich in naher Umgebung . PortoStadt ist gut mit dem 500er Bus zu erreichen.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon über das wir uns sehr gefreut haben. Leider war die Balkontür verschlossen und das Fenster konnte nur sehr eingeschränkt geöffnet werden.

I would recommend this hotel for its location and price.

The location is fantastic. The rooftop deck is a real bonus.

There was a problem with the plumbing in the shower that was an inconvenient disruption in my schedule. They did get it fixed, but it took hours. I hoped there would be an adjustment on my bill, but instead there was just an apology.

Eine Übernachtung auf der Durchreise ist OK.

Das Zimmer war auf dem aller neuesten Stand. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Modernes Bad. Bodenebene Dusche. Fön. Alles da. Eine Lampe am Spiegel. Dort konnte man sich gut erkennen. Nettes Personal wenn man es wertschätzend behandelt.

Das moderne Zimmer war allerdings mit 16m² sehr klein. Kein Schrank. Kein Regal. Nicht einmal eine Kofferbank passte in unser *Minizimmer*. Das bequeme Bett war allerdings sehr klein. Modernes Bad. Aber zu wenig Licht im Bad. Gar kein Licht in der Dusche. Das Frühstück entsprach überhaupt gar nicht dem Standard eines Hotels dieser Kategorie.

It was good, and I'll consider returning.

Very good all round.

3 complaints about my room. 1. There was a periodic rumbling noise at night. I think it may have been an engine or pump for the swimming pool. The rest of the hotel was very quiet. 2. I couldn't find how to close my window. 3. There was a low lamp in the bathroom that I couldn't turn off, so I couldn't get complete darkness at bedtime.

Espace très confortable, idéalement placé dans Porto (Foz). Très belle vue sur la mer, malgré une météo capricieuse (vent, pluie). Dommage de n'avoir pu pleinement profiter de la terrasse et du top roof en raison de la météo.
