Was great location for our family to explore the beautiful Tybee Island.

This is a third floor unit with no elevator. This should have been advertised. The linens had a few stains on them- blood and other stuff. It was very quiet there and the beach was not crowded at all but at least a quarter mile walk from the unit.

Everything was great. Location was perfect.

Property has some surface updates but the sofas were very dirty. We covered them with sheets to sit on them. Fortunately, we did not need the sleeper. The water smelled so bad during the first use, we had to stand on the deck until the odor cleared and the hot water heater had completely drained. It left a dirty mess of sulfur in the bottom of both bathtubs. The pans under the large burners on the stove were too small so the coils would not fit down in them and a pot or frying pan would slide sideways. The porch furniture was mildewed so much we could not sit in the chairs, although the cleaning crew came the day after checkin and cleaned that furniture. We overlooked any other cleaning issues. The beach was a much further walk than expected. It was a good location to get in to Savannah. We were refunded for one night, but I had rather for everything to have met my expectations.

We came to tybee because it was move in weekend for my Daughter at SCAD. The property was in a convenient location and perfect for us. The only thing that could make the listing more accurate is to make sure it’s know the stairs that have to be climbed to reach the condo. I couldn’t give cleanliness 5 stars because after the tiring day of move in weekend at SCAD and taking our hot showers we were ready to crawl into our beds for a good nights rest. Upon getting into the bed the amount of sand that was in it was not what we expected after the cleaning people left and had cleaned the apartment before our arrival.

Great location, condo is close to the pools and a short walk to the beach. Condo had everything we needed for cooking. Fresh towels, bars of soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap. Only had one complaint the sofa could use a little scrubbing, had several stains and a burn hole. We had traveled by plane, was hoping for a beach chair or a few beach items at the condo to use but there was no extras. Which was ok, we just have stayed at condos before that had those items you were welcome to use.

Overall great experience! The shower/bathtubs are both separating from wall which should be looked at but sis not effect stay at all! The location was exactly as described. Beach is a short walk, little to no others in beach, calm tide. We saw dolphins, crabs, sand dollars, starfish. So relaxing!! Kids loved seeing the cargo ships come in.

Great getaway!
Right next to a beautiful sprawling beach and very close to Savannah made this the perfect relaxing getaway for my family. The pools were also a big hit with the kids. The staff was super friendly and checkin and check out were a breeze!

Fun Tybee vacation
Good location for access to North Beach area. Granddaughter enjoyed Sea Camp at nearby New Tybee Aquarium

Good and not so good
The property was nice. Amazing views of ocean and lighthouse. Pool was clean and convenient. The three flights of steps were quite challenging for my husband and I. Did not see anywhere in info about unit that there that many. I thought unit 2C would b on 2nd floor. That was definitely a downside because we were in and out several times a day.

Tybee condo with a view
Overall nice. Clean, well appointed. Great covered porch with view of ocean and turtle pond! Only negatives were sparse supplies in the kitchen, no extra blankets for sofa bed(but I sent a message and it was promptly taken care of) and the sofa bed and loveseat desperately need to be replaced. Very uncomfortable to sit on and springs broken so mattress sags. I would consider staying there again if those issues are resolved. Tybee is neat place but have to pay for parking everywhere you go on the island before 8 pm. Great pier and nice restaurants. Plus easy trip into Savannah which is spectacular!

Great Weekend Getaway
Enjoyed our time at this condo- great view from the balcony with a view of the ocean . The condo is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator so keep that in mind - this was listed in the description so we knew before we arrived . We plan to return for another longer stay soon !

Very good but not excellent
TL/DR: Great location, the condo is solid but spartan, TIR not great.
The location at the north end of Tybee is quiet and access to the beach is an A+. We loved being up on the third floor because it gave us a bit of a view out over the pool and you could see the beach and the ocean through a gap in the buildings. Morning coffee on the balcony was delightful. That said, I think the unit can best be described as "spartan". For instance: no coasters meant that the coffee table and end tables were all water damaged. A few throw pillows on the sofa would have added some comfort (it is a very soft sofa) and some ambiance. When renting a condo it's generally because you want to have some meals in-house. So only three wine glasses in a place that sleeps six, is odd or so we thought. No ice cream scoop for a beach property? Weird, especially if you have kids. It was really, really sparse in the kitchen. Only one garbage bag (as someone else pointed out) and zero things like salt and pepper etc. We stayed at a condo in Hilton Head in March and its kitchen had staples like oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, and spices and there were beach chairs and umbrellas, and so on, so it really boggled the mind that there was so little here. It struck me that the property was perhaps owned by TIR and not just managed by them on behalf of an individual owner. Honestly, $100 at Dollar General and it could have felt warmer and the kitchen would have been more complete. The bedrooms were more nicely appointed than the living area. The suite was clean with the exception of the washer and dryer which had not been wiped down (lots of sand) and the dryer lint trap hadn't been emptied in ages and was a full-on fire hazard. The smoke detector was beeping intermittently the first night and wouldn't cease even with the battery removed. This meant a night on the couch with the bedroom door shut and we bought a battery in the morning and fixed it. When we asked the property managers what to do if it started up again in the night, they allowed that even though there was an emergency number, there was in fact no one on the island overnight to help out. The dishwasher did not work for the duration of our stay (the door would not shut properly) and while TIR sent someone to fix it (it seemed fixed), as soon as we put dishes in again the door would not latch.
These annoyances started to add up after a few days and soured an otherwise terrific stay.

Nice condo close to beach
This is a nice location close to the beach and also the property’s pools. Accommodated our family of 5 just right.
Two things to note for your packing list: the sleeper sofa had sheets and pillows available but no blanket or quilt, so be sure to bring that. There was a single garbage bag in the can when we arrived but that was it, so if you plan to have more than a can of garbage during your stay bring extra bags.

Long Weekend
Overall it was a good stay. My family of 6 arrived later in the evening to only find 5 pillows. The next day they were very kind to fix it; however, we had to go pick up the extra pillow and blankets. I would not recommend anyone sleeping on the pull out couch! Not our best VRBO experience but good enough for a beautiful weekend on the island.

Great Place
The property was great. There is a partial view of the ocean that was nice, and the beach is within walking distance. My wife and I play tennis, so we loved the tennis courts. We also enjoyed the lighthouse and the marine center which were very close. The condo is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator, so just prepare to climb up and down stairs.

Tybee Island vacation rental
We stayed at Lighthouse Point on Tybee in 2C. The condo was very nice with a great view where we could see the ocean and the lighthouse. There was plenty of room for our family of 4 and the area was quiet and peaceful. We hope they upgrade the queen bed before anyone else stays there, it was painfully uncomfortable. The hot water also had a very strong sulfur smell the first time we used it but did get better after that.

Property, no complaints, first Vrbo experience disappointing
The property was fine, no complaints, but I booked with Vrbo thinking I would save money and I feel I could have booked a nicer place for the same overall cost once you add in cleaning and other fees. I didn't take the time to look at all of that closely prior to booking, but looking back, gonna stick with hotels from now on.

Nice Stay
We enjoyed our stay here at Tybee Island. The property was clean. The kitchen had very basic supplies (no salt or pepper). The pots and pans were in rough shape, but usable. It would have been nice if there were some basic cleaning supplies to wipe down windows or tables after use. The property was close to the beach and the pools were nice. The parking spot was covered which was good. It was lovely to wake up in the morning and see the Tybee Lighthouse from the window. The beach view was small, but still nice. Overall the property fit our needs.

Good
Very comfortable stay. 5 min or less walking distance from the beach, very roomy and nice size sofa bed. Already came with dishes and cookware which was very convenient for my family and I. The only issue I had was sand in the sheets and floors.

Nice place
Clean place, pools were very nice, short walk to the beach. Fire ants are terrible there. Good restaurants near the condo. Overall we will stay here again. Bring your pillows from home unless you like flat pillows.

Had a great time, North beach was very nice less “party” and more family
Overall loved the property, if I would suggest anything to make perfect it would be a king bed in master and a better shower head . Everything else was serviceable and in good shape. We would rent this property again!!

Great location in walking distance of the beach
My friends and I enjoyed our stay at the property. You can easily walk to the beach in about 5 mins. The unit was nice and quiet. This VRBO is a good value for the price

Property was nice, great location. My only complaint is that there were 4 flights of stairs, but it was also quiet being on the top floor.

I've stayed in better condos
Let me start by saying you get what you pay for. The property description is not deceptive at all. The pictures are exactly what you get. You can see the ocean and have a beautiful view of the lighthouse. But.......you are on the third floor with no elevator. We made the best of that part but it definitely would have been nice to have an elevator instead of carrying luggage up and down stairs. The condo is very plain with little to no decoration. It is functional which is what I go for so this wasn't an issue for me. What was an issue however was the cleanliness. The floor turned our feet black within an hour or 2 and had quite a bit of sand in it. Then I went to the kitchen to see what kinds of pots and pans I would have to cook with. Both frying pans had food cooked/burnt into them. A couple of the pots still had food stuck to them and one of the spatulas was covered in eggs. I had to immediately start doing dishes so I would have a way to cook for my family. Otherwise I was satisfied. The beach is beautiful and wasn't congested. There were lifeguards that rode through periodically. We saw several container ships coming and going to and from Savannah. It was a bit of a walk to the beach from the room. Overall, it wasn't a horrible experience but I have had better for sure.

Family vacation
Great pools, quick and easy access to the beach, and the condo was clean and big enough for our family of 6 (we spent a lot of time on the large balcony as well). Loved having a second door to the balcony from the bedroom, and the washer & dryer were handy. The property was quiet at night and beautiful during the day. Would definitely stay again.

We are three ladies in our 70’s. This condo is on the third floor. Wonderful view, but lots of step.
It was comfortable and plenty of room. Enjoyed our stay.

Condo comfy
The condo was well appointed and comfortable. The only negative is that it was noisy at night. People hung out on their decks playing loud music. When I asked them to turn down the music, they banged on the ceiling with a broom or something. After the first night though, there were no issues.

Tybee Time!
My family and I enjoyed our stay. The locations was in close proximity to the beach. The sunset was beautiful and the children enjoyed the easy going waves. We saw dolphins and other little critters which was fun.
It was easy to socialize distance while on the beach and in local restaurants. The rooms were sized nicely and clean. I called the emergency number once about my gate key not working and no one responded or ever called me back. That was disappointing. Overall though, our stay was quite nice.

Larger than it looks, close to beach, pools are nice!
My first impression when I walked in to Lighthouse Point 2C was "wow, this is bigger than the pics make it look!" The living area is honestly two or three times the size it appears to be in the photos. The deck is the entire width of the whole condo, it was like an additional living room outside.
The bedroom that doesn't have a private bathroom DOES have a door you can close to a little hallway to make it a private/closed off area of the condo with a bathroom... this was nice when my family was coming in from the pool/beach and needed to take showers and not worry about walking out of the bathroom straight in to the living space.
The kitchen table and deck table both easy seat six people, I assumed that they'd be small tables, but nope! There was a blender, double toaster and coffee maker. Also some baking dishes (which i appreciated for making my husband's birthday cake!). There were a few more pots, pans and kitchen gadgets than we've had in rentals in the past, so that was nice.
The neighborhood is great to walk around and you pass such beautiful homes while walking/driving around.
The only thing that wasn't so fun was walking up three flights of stairs - I assumed there would be an elevator and skimmed over the handicap inaccessible part - while none of us are handicapped, my parents had a bit of a hard time... None the less, I would definitely stay here again!
The beach was quiet, the waves on the north side of the island are much smaller, so my 5yr old could bob around in the water with his life vest with us... when we didn't feel like setting up our tent and chairs on the beach, the pool was right there.
We really enjoyed ourselves!
