Nice

Good service, very friendly to our dog. Nice environment. Good parking.

We were in the second building with not a nice view. The charging box for the car is very slow (only 6 kw).

Really pleasant hotel, shame about the indifferent staff

The location was stunning. We had a room facing the water - it was clean, spacious, with a large terrace on which we could sit and watch the barges and wildlife. Breakfast was good and tasty, had we known we could have had fresh eggs cooked for us while we watched .

The staff were indifferent to the point of rudeness. The receptionist ignored us for the first few minutes of arrival and then hurriedly checked us in without telling us about facilities, no mention at all of the pool closure. The restaurant staff ignored us completely. We walked in and sat down passing several of them without even a ‘hi’. I think it was supposed to be table service, but we waited and ended up going to the bar ourselves to ask for a beer and we were given Heineken without any questioning if that was the one we wanted. Breakfast was the same, no information about the fresh cooked eggs or pancakes. We were on the way back from Norway so had plenty of service to compare with. We went out for dinner, there are some really good restaurants a short walk away.

Great place

It was a beautiful location.The dining rooms had great atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious and had a great balcony overlooking the river. The bed was comfortable. Easy parking.

Lovely pool

Banister had a sharp wall mounting & we both hurt our hands. The staff were attentive & fixed it temporarily. I hope they sort it permanently.

Hotel location is good

I will not suggest taking room riverside. It's not worth paying an extra amount for a room on the riverside. water was stinky and we could not able to sit outside for a longer timer

A quiet place to stay when you want to visit Goat-horn. The hotel provide bike rent service, and it’s great to try the e-bike.

Housekeeping is too early and rude. The balcony is shared which seems not safe.

Spacious room, I enjoyed the possibility to take a few relaxing strokes in the swimming pool. Very delicious breakfast, cook is present on site to make you scrambled eggs, omelette, etc.

If I would like to visit Giethoorn once more, I'll for sure book here again for the night and diner.

We liked that our dog was allowed in the hotel, that allowed us to take our friend with us. The basic rooms are good enough. We booked the restaurant for diner. The food was excellent, steak, soup, burgers, pasta, desserts, ... we all 6 liked it a lot and at a fair price. Good choice on breakfast, don't forget to ask for pancakes or eggs! Nice swimming pool. I went with my daughter in the evening, and we had the pool for ourselves. Beautiful setting. The town itself doesn't have too much to offer, but then again we came here to visit Giethoorn.

There was a little amount of hair left in the shower drain. But ok, I took a piece of paper and remove it. Apart from that the room was clean.

Excellent breakfast, eggs made per order, I specially liked the offer of the local fresh bread. Rooms are specious, quiet. Dining with a lovely view onto the river with a little traffic.
