Excellent start to our holiday.

All of the staff without exception were courteous, attentive & helpful. Dinner & breakfast were very good, & the room was very comfortable & on a quiet landing. Easy for parking & ideal location for cruise terminals.

Lovely stay. Staff all lovely and welcoming and great for young children

Perfect for children. Our little girl is 2years old and loved the play room at this hotel.

Room was very warm and couldn’t adjust the temp.

Good, modern IHG hotel with comfortable accommodation but some staff issues

The room was comfortable and the bed was great, a good sleep every night. Breakfast was good, staff at this time of day were cheery and helpful, very efficient. Location was good for visiting other places nearby such as Winchester and Salisbury.

Some staff were unnecessarily officious at check in, and difficult about seating choices for dinner. Not allowed to sit at our choice of table, told where to sit because the chosen table was "booked for others" - who never showed up the entire time we ate that evening. Some staff appeared disinterested and grumpy. These issues were shared with management at the hotel, and have been responded to very courteously, and with apologies which have been accepted by me.

Lovely short comfortable stay

Very handy location as we were staying in the area for Peppa Pig World. Was only a 15 minute drive. Breakfast was really nice and ensured we were filled up for the morning. Options for hot or cold breakfast. Bed and pillows super comfortable. Parking was easy and only £5 per night. Great kids room next to the restaurant.

Only thing I would say is we were on the ground floor right near the restaurant. Room 5. There should be doors that are closed that lead down to the rooms so the corridor is quiet as it did echo a far bit and we could hear it in our room.

Lovely, would stay again!

Room was clean and on a quiet corridor. Nice bathroom with excellent water pressure. The hotel made up the room as twin beds as requested. Restaurant staff were very attentive and food was fab with lots of vegetarian options

Always enjoy staying at this hotel but I feel standards are slipping.

I love the property and most of it is excellent.

The children’s play room was dirty with left over food on the floor and in the furniture. Toys were broken. Felt dirty being in there with my grandchild. Place needs a overhaul. I also don’t like the restaurant staff allowing guests to come in for breakfast in their pyjamas. Makes the place look chavvy.

Another lovely stay at Holiday Inn Eastleigh

Always a warm welcome with a smile 😊 Easy parking close to the main entrance. Excellent leisure centre. Good food.

On this occasion, the breakfast buffet was slow being refilled to the point of I didn't have some of the cooked breakfast, ie, sausage and mushrooms. When you are a diabetic this leaves it very limited as to what you can have hot to eat. There was a variety of other food from cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt,ham,cheese and several varieties of bread. I didn't go hungry..

Great family hotel with plenty to keep children entertained. Great value and very comfortable.

I absolutely loved this place. It was so child / family friendly. The play room and swimming pool were a particular hit with my 2 year old and children eat free in the restaurant so we had a delicious and very reasonably priced evening meal there. The rooms are clean, very comfortable and have everything you need as a family / staying with children. I loved the huge TV with all the channels and it allowed you to cast your phone to it too so we watched a film from my netflix account on it. Overall an excellent hotel and exceptional value for money.

When I arrived the room just had single beds and I had requested a double bed, when I went to reception I was helped by Tehani who was so helpful and friendly. Thank you!

Evening meal could have been better - ordered steak pie and it arrived within a couple of minutes of being ordered

Easy check in, nice large room.

Bed & pillows were hard to sleep on, room was very warm, used air con but this switched off after short while. Not all guests have apps on their phones, as would be nice to have a guest directory to look at.

The efficiency of the staff, and the comfort of the rooms would be my reason for returning.

Mainly your staff. They were exceptionally helpful, polite and efficient. They dealt with issues from other guests so well and the argumentative people left the desk smiling.

There is a quiet zone but the noise from the other guests was still annoying. Maybe a quieter quiet zone could be put in place?! Also on this form you state ‘paid’ Wi-Fi . Yes great but I thought it was free?

Really good and friendly staff

I would like to make special mention to the staff in the restaurant especially the young man who helped us with a really big party booking. He was on hand to support us throughout and made sure we had our food at the right time. We will be back again next year to stay and would love for him to get some recognition for this as it was a big group all arriving at different times

There are always areas we could improve - fridge in the room would be good as we are there for a long period and would like to keep chilled water / fruit in the room.

Pleasantly surprised.

Accessible room , comfortable bed, air conditioning, staff helpful and friendly. Quiet room, no traffic noise heard.

Room 8, wet room flooded , did not slope to drain. Pools of water making difficult to access toilet and wash hand basin. Suggest putting another drain in floor or providing something to sweep towards shower drain. Reported to staff member. But apart from that it was a great accessible room.

Very enjoyable & comfortable stay

Clean, very helpful staff, comfortable beds and well equipped bedrooms.

Only 5 accessible parking spaces and three of them seemed to have cars permanently parked in them. Consequently, unable to get an accessible parking space during the three night stay.
