It was a good stay. The room (3), a single ensuite, was a little smaller than I expected but it had all you would need, with quality bedding, towels, a comfortable bed, chair, with cushions, along with other things you would expect like a chest of drawers and a wardrobe (cupboard). The room had tea/coffee making facilities, which were replenished daily.
I didn’t try the breakfast during my stay but upon exciting the property in the mornings, the aroma coming from the breakfast room smelt good and tempting.
The location of Tower House 1066 is very good. An easy 15-minute walk, downhill, to the train station and to the seafront, a little further on. You don’t have to walk though as there is a frequent bus service (20 and 22), which runs about every ten minutes. The buses seem to start in Hastings town centre, then run along the seafront road and then turn into London Road at St Leonards, which leads past the station and up to a stop close to where the B&B is located. The buses follow the same route to Hastings.
A few minutes’ walk from the B&B is a Lidl supermarket and in a different direction, with a slightly longer walk, is an ASDA supermarket, at Silverhill.
If coming from central Hastings (or Eastbourne) on the bus, you can also catch the 99 bus which takes a different route to the ASDA supermarket. It also passes the Lidl on its journey, as well. Then it is a short walk from either to the accommodation.
Often, when I stay in a hotel or B&B, I encounter arrogant people who slam doors, come back at all hours shouting and yelling, TV’s up loud or talking loudly into their mobile phones for long periods. I had no such issues when staying at the Tower House. In fact, it was so quiet I heard more bird song (my room overlooked lots of greenery at the back) than any faint sounds which could be heard, occasionally, from guests in adjoining rooms or other parts of the B&B.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious, the room we were given was out the way which was nice and had a decking area with a nice view
The lights in our room were faulty , our television had poor connection, there was an overwhelmingly smell of cigarette smoke in our room

Friendly welcome; clean, comfortable rooms; plenty of tea and coffee.
Bathroom OK, but shower could have been better.

spacious room, comfortable bed, generous breakfast
Location made it a bit of an uphill walk from sea front. To be fair this aspect was pointed out by hotel owners.

Was given a much better room than we booked, slept wonderful. Very quiet. Staff super friendly and nice. A bit of a walk to the center so we skipped that due to our late arrival. Easy to get to the hotel.
Parking offerered was on a residential street so it's only possible if you can find a spot, which we did.

Tower House 1066 was perfectly situated. It was very quiet. Not too far at all from the main seafront and the town of Hastings. James and Camilla were extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay brilliant. The ground floor rooms were fantastic for both me and my mum, as we have mobility issues. It was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was exceptionally yummy. Fantastic price, too. We will definitely use them again.
I can't think of anything at all that we didn't like.

Our ground floor rooms with own access were perfect for us.?
The patio needed to be clearer so we could enjoy an adult evening on the patio more easily. The garden is lovely and relaxing.

Very good breakfast with plenty of options. Included good coffee. The room was very nice indeed, clean and had lovely big bath sheet towel for wrapping up in. Outside garden space was also very good.
water took quite a long time to come through hot in the shower and was not temperature controllable. No parking directly outside the property, but that was probably due to arrival time (late). Also bed frame somewhat creaky, but that didn't really matter to me.

The bed was comfortable and the room was warm and clean. They let us check in early which was appreciated
Bedside light did not work. The hot water tap was difficult to use so I did not attempt to in case it broke. I was left no towels for the shower.

Location of property was close to where I wanted to visit. A decent part of town, and close walk away to life and the sea, but not too close. Room had access to decking and garden. All very pleasant.
No hairdryer available in the room (I did not ask for one at reception - good job I brought my own). The television had a timer on it and it came on at random/odd times - like 7a.m.
