Niets

I ordered dinner which was delicious however the carpets were badly stained and the beer I had ordered was off, I was not asked why I didn't drink it when I ordered another drink.
The heating was on full tilt in my room 116 which could not be turned off the receptionist asked someone to come to the room to address the issue, the answer was to open a window which backed onto an alley which was extremely noisy with drug and alcohol users. Was a case of sleep in a sweat box which equals no sleep or listen to the racket outside also equals no sleep. Would not be a place I will return to in a hurry.

Chips can be better.
0therwise food was excellent.

The room was very good and met my requirements for a night rest. The location was good as I was able to walk briefly and buy a take-away around 11 pm. Break fast was excellent.
There was only one chair in the room, yet two single beds.

More staff serving breakfast and quicker replenishment of items on breakfast buffet

Rooms very dated and dusty in places
Wardrobe was small cupboard and after moving from a room which was too noisy to another room the bathroom tiny.
Breakfast was shocking

The hotel was in a great location for the train into Cleethorpes.
There are plenty of towels and comfortable beds. Friendly staff.
The room was on the small side, bathroom tiny. The room felt tired and dated. We were on the 3rd floor, and it was extremely warm, although we did have a fan in the room, which did help. The toilet did not flush very well. The breakfast room was extremely busy and I had to clear and clean the table before I could sit down. Choice of food was okay but the hot food dishes were empty most of the time. Asked for porridge but was told they had none even though it was on the menu.
Very under staffed as all tables needed cleaning.
Wouldn't stop again in this hotel.
4.5
Lovely hotel, staff so friendly and helpful and relaxed atmosphere. Facilities very good and everything you could need for a nice stay and good drinks tray including decaff coffee and biscuits and room very clean. Breakfast was good value for money at 7.95 with the voucher given on checkjng in. Good location for access to town and buses with good free parking facilities. Nice meal in restaurant. Hotel excellent value for money and overall a lovely stay overnight whilst visiting relatives.
Not a complaint about hotel but such a shame about down and outs gathering outside of hotel on cathedral green and could see they were a problem for the staff and were being a nuisance by coming into hotel to complain about silly things.. Felt sorry for the hotel having to deal with them but saying that felt safe when going for cigarette as smoking area at the back in private car park. Maybe a suggestion would be to block off entrance to cathedral green and have the one entrance in the car park where maybe it would be more difficult for them to gain entry? But maybe that has been tried I don't know.
Only issue was room was very warm and couldn't open windows but slept comfortably with fan supplied with room so not a drastic issue.

The location was ideal gor a family birthday get together in town.
The room was very hot. The weekend weather was suddenly very warm so the hotel may have been unexpectedly caught out!

All the facilities necessary in the room - tea and coffee making facilities and free toiletries, TV etc
The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good value for money.
Lovely view of Grimsby Minster.
No fridge in the room.
The hotel is a little dated and the area around it seems to attract homeless people.
Otherwise, fine.

The breakfast
Bathroom ceiling flaking, sealant around Bath had gone black in places, toilet roll holder had obviously been snapped previously and taped together with silver tape and so it was bent with the weight of the toilet roll, the Bathroom extractor fan had numerous slats broken. As you entered the room the carpet had been pieced together with a very obvious gap running along it. The desk/tv/kettle area was mostly peeled of its varnish. There were no bedside sockets. Outside the front of the hotel the restaurant advertising board had piles of dog pooh beside it which no-one had bothered to clean up. All in all i couldn't wait to leave.

The parking, the ease of checking in. The friendly staff. The central location.
The Duck tape on the toilet roll holder

I rent without breakfast
I liked everything about the location of the hotel, close to the train line, close to a supermarket, close to several banks, Barclays Bank, Lloyds Bank, Halifax.

Good value for money. The room was very clean and quite modern. Good selection of toiletries. Staff were friendly and bed was comfy. The shower is really powerful.
It was noisy. If you stay here with a family, choose a room at the back. We were woken at 2.30 by a huge crowd of drunken students singing and squealing outside the hotel. We complained to reception and they then seemed to move on, so the hotel dealt well with our issue.

Very comfortable friendly staff

The room was nice and the shower was too I like the fact you can change the temp and pressure to fit you.i also appreciate the fact you put out sanitary bags in the bathroom.
That the plugs near where the kettle was too low and close to the table and you couldn't plug the kettle in I had to use the other one that was near the window which was slightly over the table

The staff are lovely . The room was ok. The food I found a dit cold in the morning. But not a bad saleckson. It did for what we needed as we were not on a holiday. I have just lost my dad.
The room was very outdated with a 70s look.and that wood chip wallpaper that we have bit of a problem with, and we grew up with this as forces kids and it was not a happy remorey trying for year to help my mum get it off the wall. The room was very hot and made it hard to sleep. The toilet didn't always want to plush things down.

Excellent value and good location.
Rooms are a little dated perhaps.

It is tired and needs some investments. But clean and staff was helpful. Wifi works
Food in the evening is not worth mentioning. Lack of power sockets in the room. Two separate taps over the sink would be a definitive no booking by me, but photos are 'creative'.
thin walls.
