Stayed in the big family room on the top floor Sun 11th Feb with my wife, daughter and dog.
The room was very clean, huge smart TV, tea/coffee facilities and very spacious!
We had a great stay and would definitely stay again.
Lynn, the host was very nice, friendly and helpful.. showed me around all the facilities and showed us how to use the key codes.
All rooms have individual locks/codes which is great for security.
It was one of the only places in the area that is dog friendly and it turned out to be the cheapest (although you do have to pay an additional £10 for the pet which wasn't advertised on the website).
Very reasonable prices, had a great nights sleep, very comfortable - no complaints at all.
The only slight negative is having to share the toilets (but we knew at the point of booking that they were shared), that being said, they were very clean so can't grumble at all!
My wife said the family room could do with a big mirror on the wall (where that tiny one is currently in place) as she struggled getting ready, the one that is there is so small and low - it will also make the room look even bigger too so win-win.
We had a great stay and look forward to staying again, thank you for looking after us Lynn - hope to see you again soon 👍

Only downside is having to share a bathroom and a shower

Good value, friendly staff

Very clean and in good repair. Situated on a scruffy street in Grimsby (like most of Grimsby!) but would reccommend.

Upon arrival was taken to a double room even though my booking clearly showed large family room. They wanted extra to get the room I had booked. It felt like a well used routine.

Nothing like the Description or the pictures, shares toilet, blocked tiny sink, shared single shower cubicle for the whole bottom floor.. very uncomfortable beds. Never slept worrying about my van being broke in to ? Staff was friendly but I wouldn't stay again even if it was £25 a night.

Absolutely horrific, the area is very run down and I didn’t feel comfortable to even leave my equipment and items in the room whilst going for dinner, so I stayed in.

It was terrible 11 pm people are still moving on the upstairs making noise with pets

Can't say as there was a big mix up over the booking and when we arrived they had no room for us, they did promise to reimburse though

I could not have a shower because there was NO HOT WATER.
Breakfast is cereals or toast on a self-service system where you have to clean your own dishes. That should be warned at the time of booking.
Communal fridge for guests. Some put labels saying some food was privately own. I did not know if the milk in the fridge was for private or communal use. I ended walking out and having breakfast somewhere else. Nobody available in the morning to ask.
I was received by a lady with no mask. When she saw me wearing mine she put it on but it barely covered her lips. Her nose was exposed all the time and her mask kept falling. Not very good when we are going through a pandemic of covid. That was the first impression and it was not good.
I phoned the day before of my arrival to confirm it. I talked to a gentleman. The following day I received a call from a lady asking for the time I was planning to arrive. That man had no passed the message to her. While I was checking in I received a second phone call asking for my time of arrival. It is obvious they are a bit disorganised.

The place is not so bad but some information is not exactly as presented.
"Parking available" means that you will park somewhere on the other street in front of others' people houses. There is no way that you will park in front of the hotel as there are few scrapyard cars parked. The neighbourhood looks dodgy so leaving your car somewhere is not relaxing.
"The breakfast" means that there is kitchen with milk and cereals so I have no idea why they need to know that you need a breakfast in advance. Luckily the kitchen is mostly busy with people not wearing masks so good luck in preparing that breakfast.

Great value for money.
Room was very clean and comfortable. Large TV in our room. It is a shared bathroom but just across the hall so no big deal.
We were greeted within minutes of our arrival and shown the room. No issues.
Would stay again.
