Though it was a very short stay but I enjoyed the warm hospitality of reception,restaurant staff.

Very wide choices. One can enjoy as per individual likings. Staff are extremely courteous and helpful

little improvement on cleanliness . Carpets on the corridor can be cleaner.

Was one of the better hotels we had during our trip in the South. And we were with 7 people.

Buffet in evening was very good - Breakfast was very good also for European foreigners. Hotel stay was ok, friendly people. Price is reasonable for Hotel.

Okay. .not bad .

It was decent property . One can stay with the family . Staff is good and caring .

The property looks old . From tea kettle to cups , towels to bed everything needs improvement . It’s very old . Rooms are not too big . Food for vegetarians is good. .can’t comment about non vegetarians .

Good Breakfast, Bed spread and cover, towels can be still be fresher and clean

We really enjoyed our stay at Fortune in Madurai, considerate service and relaxing stay

We found the service very helpful and enjoyed use of the pool and gym. The garden was a relaxing place to spend time away from the busy city.

The bar would be nicer if it reflected the tropical setting, not an American ranch.

Great experience. Must experience the Hospitality when in Madurai.

Located in an affluent up market area. Staff are courteous. Old world charm in the Lobby area. The Buffet spread for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner exceed expectations. Green Lush Garden and Lawn which uses purified waste water (recycling).

Decent place for one or two nights but not value for money.

Average hotel. Stayed for one night only. Pleasant staff and helpful. Food was okay.

The rooms are a bit old and so is the facility. There was only one lift working in the lobby and that too was very small. The bell boys did not have a trolley to take the luggage and had to literally carry all our bags in and out. Decent place, but not worth the money paid.

Excellent cost-benefit in Madurai

Old but reliable hotel in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The best thing in this hotel is probably its excellent staff! From the front desk to the restaurant Chef (Ajmal), everyone showed efforts to make me feel welcomed. Very nice swimming pool too!

A very pleasant stay with smiling faces to help.

Breakfast spread was excellent. It included some surprise, regional foods like kambu koozh and ragi puttu. Very healthy yet very thoughtful menu.

1. The outside of the building - the front porch and the surroundings were not clean, especially, the empty cigarettes' cases, cigarettes' butts etc were not removed and it gave an ugly appearance. 2. We had problems in loading the car as the area to park the car for loading was not available for quite some time. The in-charge was not able to request the people to move their cars from that area as he was very hesitant to request people. 3. A suggestion - you could offer services to clean the guests' cars, if they stayed overnight. The leaves and flowers from the trees in the parking lot, the bird excreta and the mud/dirt because of the drizzling rain - all messed up the car.
