I looked the host.. And location..

Wasn't keen on the decor in the room.. And could be cleaner..a little dated..

Very friendly staff and room nicely decorated with a comfortable bed, plenty of character.

Perhaps unlucky but one of the bedside lights didn't work and shower was a little temperamental, easy enough to remedy.

I liked the location and the view.

The room was a bit worn out and dusty. The snacks in the room were expired and just one kind of tea was available. There was no fresh fruit. The bed was not king size as advertised. All in all not what expected and not worth the money.

Great location. We didn't have breakfast (not sure they offer it). The shower was good. Please was clean.

The room was crowded with 'stuff' and it was difficult to find anywhere to put things. Too frilly for us. It was very expensive for what we got but it was 5th November and therefore possibly booked out.

The hostess was very welcoming. The room was pretty, clean, tidy and warm with television (sadly I couldn't make it work but that didn't bother me, I didn't need it), accessible, if compact, ensuite, and drinks facilities. There wasn't a view but I didn't ask for that and didn't need it either. The bed was very comfortable and the teddy bear decoration made it feel homely - a sweet touch! The house was also very quiet.. as were the seagulls....

My main concern was the lack of food. As this was the first time I have travelled alone I did not pick up on the fact that the Guest House was room only, food not available. Perhaps that could be made clearer on the website along with local food outlet recommendations, especially for breakfast. If food was available I wasn't informed. I didn't need to get about (family arrangements made) but some information regarding transport would be helpful. The Guest House is not on a bus route (great for peace and quiet!): if mobility is a problem this is a major drawback although taxi numbers were displayed.

Spotlessly clean, beautiful decor, very spacious.

The location of the hotel was excellent. The bedrooom was quite spacious (albeit there was no wardrobe) and the bed itself was reasonably comfortable. It was good to have tea/coffee making facility in the room.

The ensuite facility was extremely cramped. Everything worked - the WC was OK, the hand basin was OK, the shower was OK (quite good actually) but it was difficult to move from one to the other without knocking into something. Whilst sitting on thr loo my head was almost in the handbasin. I am quite small (about 5'4" and medium build). Someone bigger than me (probably most people) might have felt a bit claustrophobic/hard to move round the ensuite room

This a superb guest house owned and run by the lovely Marina who takes genuine pride in looking after her guests. Quiet room and comfortable bed with tea and coffee and snacks, TV and the wifi was exceptional. The only slight negative was the size of the en-suite shower room which was a litle challenging but that won't stop me returning! Very highly recommended. Thank you Marina!

The host, Marina, was very kind, friendly and helpful. The room was large, light, bright and had pretty views across the oyster lake with good access to beach and to the town. Marina provided a mini fridge and mini microwave along with tea and coffee in the rooms. Having the terrace was a bonus too, and a sun trap for drinking a chilled glass of wine. (See photo).

Great spacious accommodation , own keys for free access..lovely welcome tea,coffee,biscuits etc. Very convenient little fridge and freezer compartment to store food in. The shower was simple to use and very clean

How hot the room was ..maybe suggest a fan for hot days. No toaster that would be ideal as well. Other than that it was perfect 🥰

There is no parking at this guest house. Have to park the car in back streets.

The location was nice and the adjacency of the town, along the river Arun, was charming. Would love to have spent a little time there, but an accident in our over-furnished room meant that we had to cut our stay short. A pity!
