Amazing stay at Milhouse Avenue. Joaquin and Guada were very nice and helpful during my stay. The activities organised by the team are a great way to meet new people and the rooms were great. Would definitely recommend to friends and come back for my next stay in BA!

The location of the hostel is perfect, close to the obelisk. The internet in the place was very good. My bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean with a really powerful shower.
The hostel parties are very lively and people are always happy.

Location of this hostel was great, the rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and lockers provided. Hostel organised many events which was great for socialising.
The lift was extremely slow. The hostel bar operates a wristband system for buying drinks at the bar this caused confusion when we were checking out of the hostel.

Location
This place was not very clean while I stayed there.

An absolute disgrace, ripping off tourists for their own gain, they should be ashamed of themselves. BEWARE, THEY TAKE THE REAL USD VALUE. They don't respect the argentine peso value that Booking gives (they charge double the argentine peso rate) and even if you want to pay with credit card to get the MEP rate, they charge you with USD without telling you so that you don't even get this. It is 100% not worth what you pay. Please go somewhere else where you can get a private room for the same price. ANYWHERE.
The person checking us in had 0 empathy and it was as if she was instructed to get tourists to pay more. Honestly I don't understand any good review of this place and how they are still doing what they're doing. Also, nowhere on their page does it say they don't respect the argentine peso rate that Booking gives.

super friendly staff. great place to meet people

The facilities were good, especially the beds and the separation between them which provides privacy.
The price was too high and it was not clear when making the reservation. Pay attention that if you want to pay in cash by pesos and not dollars, the price will not be like Booking mentions. It will be almost doubled because the place transfers the price by the blue dollar rate.

The location and the café nearby the hostel is amazing.
They hold different kinds of activities everyday which is perfect for single traveler, citytours is also available.
All the staff are superfriendly and helpful.
The elevator takes forever... but taking stairs is always an option :)

good value for money, never boring, it’s built in an interesting way, I liked the staff members and the bar area
very, very noisy because pf the way it is built. there is 0 noise insulation and you can’t sleep until they close the bar. would not go there if I don’t want to party. for party goers it is amazing though!

Unfriendly staff, bad practices, cold ambience

Centrally located, Designed for a 20-30's party crowd, Lot's of activities arranged by the hostel, good value for money, comfortable beds and and bedding. The classic French doors opened into a courtyard. This was charming, yet since it was sometimes the only window, so locking one's room at night whilst sleeping was not really possible. However, the safe in the room kept our valuables secure. 95% of the staff were friendly and helpful.
There are 5 floors of rooms and the lift is the slowest lift I have ever experienced. Some rooms had a central climate control that was either too cold or too hot. I stayed there twice, once we had our own climate control and it was much more comfortable.

Great location just off main boulevard.
It was loud at all hours of the day and night. From the music in the lobby to the large old doors slamming all night. People were yelling to each other through the middle courtyard, and parting till 3:00am each night.
Rooms big but old, no place to hang anything; no cabinet, no hooks, only the floor.
Good shower pressure, but the head was old and water sprayed everywhere. there was mold spots on the ceiling.
In our room the bathroom was down 2 large steps, was difficult to navigate in the night.

Nice bar which makes it easier to socialize, get to know other travelers. Very nice location.
Staff could be more friendly and helpful. Most of the staff I talked to were new or volunteers and they were lost. Facilities are not very good. Cleanness were an issue. Not a good value for money. Way too expensive for what it’s delivered.

Not worth the amount that you have to pay - worst hostel I stayed at my whole trip. the staff are so unfriendly and plain rude except one (Abraham I think). nothing special about this hostel.

great facilities and location.
lovely staff.
For dorm rooms:
1. They give you the sheets to put on the bed yourself, which we found pretty unusual.
2. They did not provide a towel.
Also they do not accept payments in pesos for the room.

de building was Nice
in my opinion it is very unfriendly to charge your customers in USD before their arrival. they know tourist want to benefit from the blue dollar rate and that is nog possible here. we also had to pay 83 dollars for an extra night which is in my opinion an absurt price for an average hostel. also after we already booked and payed the extra night we were summoned the in the morning to check out while we had the extra night. being bothered in your personal space is not nice. the front desk lady (manager) was very commercial and did not make us feel warm welcomed at all. she cared about good reviews and was trying her best to make us feel happy about the dollars deducted from our back account but honestly i would not recommend anyone to stay here. it is a nice place to meet people but definitely not worth the hostel

Good location and nice private rooms
Went to a Boca Juniors game with the and you arrive 3 hours before the game and sit in the stadium with nothing to do and nothing to drink. Could be an external company who runs this service but I would definitely not go again because of how stupidly early you arrive.

It's a super well located hostel, great if your focus is staying in the city center of Buenos Aires. The common area is always full of people and there's always this party atmosphere in the air. It's not a bureaucratic place and it's super simple to come and go. Overall, the hostel is very clean and organized.
The staff is not very prepared and there were numerous problems in the management of my reservation, such as my bed (there was someone sleeping in the one I was given), a different room from the one I had booked (when I booked a private room), and when due to the lack of attention of one of the team members I was charged a higher amount than I owed on my credit card. It's also a little weird the fact that they don't accept payment for the reservation in pesos, the local currency. Anyway, also think it's quite expensive for what you're getting, sometimes competing with hotel prices in Buenos Aires.
