Nice 70s vibe, most of persons friendly
They tried to get us to pay more than booking.com amount, the water and electricity was not working for a night, overall bit outdated for the price you pay

Hotel Santo is an authentic and historic hotel, with is history linked to diving at “President Cooligde”.
Hotel Santo is Vanuatu’s Raffles hotel. Staying there is the best base for Santo adventures.
The coffee.

Le sourire et l’accueil du personnel
Le débit d’eau dans la douche est très très lent

Loved the location and garden vibes to the place. It was very clean and worth what we paid for.
Wifi was down throughout our stay.

Mary-Jane and Lisa were extremely welcoming and very attentive. Great hosts of a great hotel! Their garden is stunning, and the flower bouquets made every day were just beautiful. A peaceful and quiet hotel, right in the middle of Luganville!

Lisa and Mary-Jane were very accommodating when our flights to Santo were delayed by several days. Then when we arrived they were so helpful finding ways for us to do everything we wanted to in the short time we were able to stay. The whole hotel feels like a time machine to the 70s (which we absolutely loved) and everything was clean and well maintained.
Thank you so much for such a great stay, we'll be back next time 😊

The Garden and the pool are well maintained and you can hang out in the common area.
The rooms are in pretty bad conditions. They urgently need a lift up. The bed starts rolling when you sit down on it and there were spots of dirt on the bed sheets. There was a wet spot near our toilet caused from the toilet brush. A cockroach surprised us in the evening which made us feel uncomfortable sleeping. For showering they put soap mixed with water into a plastic bottle. The water pressure is pretty low, so washing your hair can become a burden. You also dont get shampoo or body wash in small containers which you would get in similar priced hotels. The Manager did not tell us about the included breakfast in the Restaurant and did. not even bother to tell us when she saw us walking across the street to the nearby Café in the mornings. At least they took off some money from our bill when we asked them to. However, the missinng info cost us a bunch of money. There were also just limited infos and brochures of what you can do on the island. You really dont get what you re paying for so i would recommend staying somewhere else.

Amazing staff, Lisa and her mum are so kind, and treated us like family, John behind the bar was so lovely and kind. The food was incredible, great vegan options and very authentic Vanuatu food (which made a nice change to everywhere else we had been). The room had everything you needed. We loved the retro 70s decor, it was like walking back in time. Very close to the wharf, shops, and Lisa organised everything that we needed (including yoga!) Can’t recommend enough!

Lisa and Mary Jane (management) were exceptional in meeting all our needs and helped us remain comfortable with every request. Nothing was an effort for them. They went over and above for us. Staff were excellent and the restaurant was fantastic to dine at.
There is nothing bad about the Hotel.

The staff and host were very helpful and courteous. The pool was wonderful at the end of the day. Having a restaurant and bar on site was useful as there are very few facilities within walking distance in the town. The gardens are lovely.
The whole place is quite dated but this just adds to the character. The room was small but adequate.
