Sunset view
Rooms are very small, there is not even a place to open the suitcase. I had to rent a second room because there was no way we could have stayed with a family of 4 in such a tiny room.
Also, the mattresses are so low quality that both my wife and I woke up in the middle of the night with back pain.
Although the staff was very nice, these particular two points made my stay at this location not a pleasant moment.
I am not sure why they call this place a resort...

We left in the middle of the night because there was a scorpion in our room.

The room and views are beautiful, im pretty sure the place is perfect for kite surfing as they teach themselves
The restaurant isnt my fav and there is nothing else around. The nearest beach is nice but i wouldnt stay there for hours tbh, loads of flies.
Staff is friendly but i forgot my bikini and they said its not there

Young and super friendly volunteers are working at the receiption. We got a really nice room with ocean view and hammocks. Lovely place to relax your mind and stress out.

Great hilltop location with amazing views and close to the beach. We had a beautiful bungalow with tongue and groove cedar throughout. The room had great views of the ocean. There is a little restaurant on site with limited selection. There are other dining options within walking distance.
It didn't bother us, but the hotel is built into the side of a hill, so those with mobility issues beware. There is a lack of parking.

only stayed one night but could have easily stayed a few months or more !! .... cannot say enough AMAZZZING things about this beautiful spot !!..... the view woke up to was far beyond STUNNING !!..... even with a standard room ... left me breathless with tears of pure joy ... what a BLESSING !!
if you have a lot or heavy baggage, ask your cab to drop you at the level up the hill that leads to your room..... otherwise quite a steep hill to climb with heavy bags upon arrival, especially after a long trip...... but if you arrive in the dark, you are GUARANTEED eternal GRATITUDE for EVERY step when you see the VIEW in the morning !!

It was a bare room no garbage cans .poor bedding .basically just bare room. The walls are thin you can hear everyone talking in the other rooms even they are very quiet

The location, just for one night.
It's a little hard, La Cruz is a beautiful place, great beachs and nice people, but there is not a lot of services. Main issue with the hotel, no restaurant open on low season, you have to drive 1 mile to get a restaurant. Second, it's not clean as you expected -they could do to much to improve this-. Third, I asked the reception gird about the better beach in La Cruz zone, but her answer was that she did not like the beach . . . so, I don't care about it, I just want an advise or some recommendation and sadly she was unable to help me. I would not recommend this place for people with mobility issues, a lot of stairs. At the end, I really enyoied my travel to La Cruz, please visit Playa Rajada and Playa Pilon (nice to take photos), el Jobo is nice too.

The Suite is very nice. AC, nice bathroom. Good ocean view, it's own parking.
No restaurant, it was closed,So we had to drive to a nearby place for our meals "El fogón de Juana" No hot water., but the rain type showers where pleasant enough

amazing view, very nice staff, great place for kiting, good spirit and ambiance
love the pizza night and great lomito grilled or squid salad !
All the room should have AC.
It could be more well organized with a little more time for breakfast and diner.

The view is incredible. The staff were friendly and helpful. Hot water in the shower. Clean room.
Hammocks and chairs.
Small basic room and tiny bathroom. shower stall door was broken and would not slide.
Very uncomfortable bed and pillow.
If not a kiteboarder, mealtimes are odd.
Parking up the hill in the tiny lot was a nightmare.

Great spot with a beautiful view on the bay, nice restaurant on premises, really welcoming staff and an excellent place to stay if you plan to go kite surfing!
Location is a bit far from anywhere if you do not have a car, but that's part of the charm. Rooms have all you need, nothing more and are comfortable, but could be a bit cleaner.

Perfect for Kitesurfing, but not a good choice if you do not kitesurf.

Staff were great! Amazing view and outdoor space for yoga. Delicious restaurant. Beautiful trees and flowers.
The bed wasn't that comfortable. The sheet was loose.and would come off at night. The bathroom was very small.

They have a really good cook! Breakfast is quite the same every day but okay. The rooms are really small but comfortable. The best thing is their own kite beach area! Although we recommend to have a car so you can go kiting whenever you want (shutttle is only 9:30 am going to the beach and 4:30 pm going back), you can have lunch whereever you want and even try something else for dinner sometimes. There is really no other place like that in costa rica perfect for kiting!
We didn't like the breakfast so much and you could definitely make more use out of the hotel with theme evenings or anything to get a little more hostel vibe in it, like a big kiting family:)

The rooms were great and had an amazing view. The restaurant cooked different food everyday which was always very good and not pricey at all. It doesn't feel as touristy as other places in Costa Rica and still seems to be a hidden gem.

Nice sunset view. We stayed in a 4 bed room and it was really cozy with a lot of wood. Hot showers and a comfy bed. they bring you to the kite spot in the morning and back in the afternoon. if you want you could walk like 20-25 minutes as well
Food was alright

The View was fantastic! Wake up and just open the curtains in your room to see the Kitespot in front and beneath you, that was very nice!
The owner Nicola is a great guy with a lot of experience in Kiteboarding and is super friendly. Renting equipment at his kiteschool was very easy.
Staff at checkin was not very friendly, we didnt feel welcome there, that continued the next morning at breakfast. They partly didn't seem very professional or interested in our wellbeing.
We really enjoy a laid back lifestyle but they overdo this a bit.
Our room had a special smell "like a wet dog" when we got there, we could get rid of that with a room spray.

Nicola runs an outstanding kitesurf school. He managed to create a gem, with outstanding views and awesome people (michelles, analu, edu, and many more! and to top everything, Pizza night! Best pizza in the region by far! Will be back soon!

All was bed . We got away as soon as we saw the room.
60 dollars per night is a too much for not clean sheets and towels, we stayed in anther structure and they didn’t realized that, we preferred to avoid to discuss with the stuff , we are on holiday and the standard is that !!! It won’t improve….must put a limit for the pura vida style
