Lovely quiet hotel in a beautiful location.

The hotel is in a beautiful location right in the middle of rice paddy. It was very peaceful and there was a lot of privacy in the hotel. Maybe it gets a lot more busy outside of the rainy season. The room was spacious and the balcony was great. The pool was lovely and there were not really any people at the pool when we were staying there. The shuttle bus to the town was very good.

The gym has very basic equipment but the worst part was that it was way too hot in there and impossible to work out as the staff leave the AC off. The housekeeping staff were very loud during the housekeeping in the morning in the corridors, so it was quite disturbing. They had a trainee at the reception who did not speak any english which was surprising. They ask you to pay extra if you want to use jacuzzi in the spa which I never heard of. The breakfast was a la carte and could be improved as I found the bread and pastries were very basic.

Perfect place to unwind

We loved this hotel for a couple of days downtime amongst the rest of the hustle and bustle of ubud. It’s otherworldly and a pretty special setting. Food was great, service was great, rooms were really nice with the biggest bath I’d ever been in. We also had a massage and my therapist definitely knew what she was doing. She was the slightly older of the two we had. We also did the morning walk which was nice to learn more about the local culture. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and unwind.

Fabulous

The perfect stay! The room is outstanding, huge comfortable bed, lovely breakfast, very attentive staff, gorgeous morning yoga, great views. Loved watching the local farmers attend the rice paddies from the hotel.

The shuttle service only had a few times per day to get to town, you can just get a taxi but it would be great if the hotel had more regular shuttle times as it is around a 20 minute drive to town (traffic)

Prachtig hotel

Het is een prachtig hotel en de staff is super behulpzaam. Toen mijn man ziek werd kwamen ze steeds vragen of alles goed ging en of we iets nodig hadden. Ze kwamen zelfs langs met fruit en thee voor hem.

Our Second Home

It was the perfect honeymoon place for us!! Service from the staff felt like we are part of the family because of the warm interactions all throughout our stay. Highly recommended to go here for a memorable stay especially in Ubud!

Un tres bon moment , plein de charme , tout proche d’Ubud.

Hôtel magnifique au milieu des rizières ! Moderne et charmant. Super cours de cuisine dans le jardin.

Uniquement l’aspect extérieur de l’hôtel… un gros bloc de béton au milieu des rizières. C’est dommage.

Tranquility

Excellent service/staff and nice facilities. Clean, discrete and peaceful.

Food could’ve been a bit better since you are not allowed to order food to the hotel. Overall the food is good.

Tranquil location good for relaxing.

Set in a tranquil location and the surroundings were beautiful. Staff were informative and happy to help. Food was good value for money.

As we were based on the ground floor, we could smell and feel damp. Some of our clothes and items were damp after only being in the room 1 night.

this is a beautiful boutique hotel with very special and attentive staff

it’s a beautiful boutique hotel with stunning views. our room was very special. the pool was fantastic but was in the shade for a good bit of the day (maybe it was the time of year). the staff were magnificent ( special thanks to Angga and thia)

amazing experience with a good value for money ratio

overall amazing experience in a fantastic location; great breakfast. good value for money spend. awesome yoga classes and small little moments in the hotel (e.g., dancers, koi fish etc)

the air in the hotel room was not the best with air condition on; we preferred therefore sleeping without aircondition and the door to the balcony open

Great amenities, pool, and especially staff. Loved the morning yoga and walk offered every day.

The location is a big out of the way, however makes it more peaceful. Great with free shuttle to Ubud city.

Beautiful property and relaxing atmosphere

Enjoy Villa Melati. Very spacious and private. Staff were very welcoming and lovely. Breakfast is very good and well presented. Really enjoyed the variety. Pool snacks were great. Guests were good with pool service, very prompt in offering free lime water during breakfast and when at the pool. Nice touch.

Shuttle services are extremely limited. After 10 am next is at 2 pm... No lunch time shuttle to go to market. Gym doesn't open until 9:45 am. This is quite late, considering Yoga is at 7 am. Spa is good, however because there is no airconditioning, it can get very hot especially during massage. This means one cannot enjoy. Would have been good if hotel has special cocktail hours

romantic getaway- wish we were there for longer

a breathtaking resort, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown ubud. we loved the secluded setting amongst rice paddies and beautiful well maintained gardens. the rooms are immaculate, private and we had beautiful views over the pool and jungle. the food was very delicious and the swim up bar was a hit. the resort staff are incredibly friendly, attentive and made us feel very welcome. we LOVED the flower bath experience and massage. I really enjoyed morning yoga on the rooftop. you really don’t need to leave the resort as you have everything you need to relax and feel pampered. we appreciated their flexibility with our booking when we were delayed one night due to illness (offering a refund for that night). we would love to return and would recommend this resort to everyone

it’s further away from ubud downtown (30 mins), which might not be ideal for some but we found it very peaceful

The resort absolutely spoilt us with the best food in Bali and unmatched hospitality of the staff. I don’t think we’ll e

everything. food was unmatched - every single dish we ordered from the menu was a delicacy (even the steak and fries were better than 99% of the steakhouses we’ve been in London). our villa was beautiful, elegant, thoughtfully designed to the last detail. the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home, from the first welcome drinks to booking us tours and timely room service.

A beautiful hotel surrounded by stunning rice fields. The service and staff were super friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was very delicious and the spa was great as well! We felt at home immediately upon arrival :)

Nothing. It was probably a little far out from the centre of Ubud town for us, very quiet area, which is nice but not much going on in the hotel in low season. But we were aware of this when booking!

Splendid restful experience with great staff!

Located at a quiet and peaceful location. Rooms were spacious and as described on the listing (spacious, clean and with strong wifi etc.) Staff were hospitable and were helpful with our queries. Hotel also has activities which you can sign up for, we joined the cultural night dinner and will recommend the same experience to others. Food served from the restaurant was great too. Overall splendid experience, you will not regret

Wonderful experience!

The view was incredible!! 😍 The whole resort gave me a really relaxing vibe. Staff are very friendly too. Will come back again next time.❤️

The room had a moldy smell, but I think it's because of the weather here, so I think it's acceptable.

Perfect in every way

Absolutely everything! Rooms are spacious and luxurious, with a beautiful balcony overlooking the pool are. The staff can’t do enough for you and are extremely thoughtful and helpful. My partner because quite unwell during our stay and the hotel staff were most helpful. Everything was perfect.

BEST PLACE EVER!

I could not recommend this hotel enough! From the moment we arrived and throughout the whole of our stay, the staff could not do enough for us. We stayed in the Suite with the pool view, it was absolutely breathtaking, spotlessly clean and huge. Every single thing had been thought about in terms of needs and also decorated beautifully with flowers and fruit baskets. The food was exceptional, we didn’t have one bad meal. Massive portions and fantastic prices. Kipli was fantastic and all the team in the restaurant. The pool was beautiful and well looked after, as well as the spa which again was phenomenal, we used it almost everyday and got spoilt by the lovely Desna and Tria. We can’t wait to stay again, thank you everyone at Kuwarasan.

The path to go to the spa at night is very scary with barely any lights and sounds of insects and animals. Would suggest adding a more visible pathway to it

Calm hotel surrounded by beautiful rice fields

Location, atmosphere, friendliness of the staff

Rooms on lowest floor smelled like mould / humid, water in the gym from the “cool water” machine was actually hot (because located in the sun)
