Good value hotel with great breakfast in center of town.

The staff at the Lae City Hotel were very friendly and helpful. For example, when the WiFi didn’t work in my first room, they changed me to a different room where it did work. The bed was very comfortable. The room was large. The refrigerator was also large — much larger than a typical hotel mini fridge — and both the fridge and the freezer worked very well. This was very useful for storing things like cold drinks, cheese, etc. I also liked their gym. It is small, like most hotel gyms, and hot unless someone has been in there before you with the AC on. I only used a treadmill, but it worked well and seemed well maintained. The included breakfast is also great — eggs to order every day plus toast, cereal, fresh fruit etc. Finally, the location of this hotel is great. Right in the center of town — easy to get to stores or to Lae International Hotel if you want to try their menu.

The water pressure in the shower was mediocre. Lots of hot water, but poor water pressure.

Quality Getaway

The BED!!!!! Couldn't get enough of how soft and comfortable it was. Also, I loved how spacious the room was, especially the bathroom, which was a massive win The dining experience, too, was AMAZING! Meals were marvellous compliments to the chef(s), of course. Meal weren't too pricey either, so my partner and I had more than enough to satisfy our hunger

I loved all of it. I don't have a single negative comment :)

We LOVE Lae City Hotel and highly recommend it!

The location is perfect! We loved having the cafe restaurant right there at the hotel - their food is exceptional! The staff were all so friendly and helpful! The A/C worked great and the comfy beds and room-darkening curtains resulted in a perfect nights sleep. We also loved having the secure parking facility to leave our vehicle in. We enjoyed our stay very much - thank you Lae City Hotel! We will be back!

I will come back due to food and girls

The food and the girls serving in the cafe make this place- I even Brough workmates for lunch and dinner

The big generator noise accross the road at the bank- the room air conditioner was also noisy

It was a great sort stay, really loved the rooms.

The room was big and clean. The size was massive compared to the other hotel rooms I've slept inn.

There wasn't any tea or coffee given till the next day. which was not good because Iam a tea drinker.

Clean and spacious hotel in the centre of Lae. Excellent meals.

The rooms are very spacious and clean with great views over the surrounding mountains (on the North side). The Cafe serves really good SE Asian and Western meals. A very nice alternative to other well established hotels in Lae.

The architecture is a bit austere and the hotel lacks a nice shaded outdoor area.

Generally one of the best places to stay at while in Lae. The facilities are of very high standards.

a place to be in the heart of Lae CBC infact this is my 3rd stay in LCH and wont hesitate to promote

services on accommodation & western, Asian & Chinese food was great with friendly staff

add local food on the dinner meal & the breakfast for 3 days was almost the same type of menu despite variety of cereals
