The food was great, the staff where friendly and assisted us I whatever we wanted to do during our stay at the resort. There rooms where spacious and all amenities. The rooms with Balcony where we stayed had Majestic views of the bay. So many tour and adventures to choose from according to our budget and diving, snorkeling and kayaking gears were available to choose from.
The food was all Buffet type. We didn’t have the choose to choose whatever we wanted from the manu, during the entire stay. That was the only down side.

beautiful location, covered walkways so you don’t get wet when it rains
it is steamy, tropical hot and not all areas have air con

Given its remote location, we were delighted with the Tawali’s amenities. The food was excellent, the activities well organised and throughly enjoyable. Diving and snorkelling were amazing. We were a 6 person 3 generation travelling group. The accommodation in the Ocean Villa was ideal and in a magically setting.
Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Best to be aware that medical support is 2 hours away in Alatou. Tawali is only accessible by boat.

Incredible spot ideal for diving, snorkeling and unwinding far away from the outside world!! Absolute tranquillity in a stunning location with attentive staff and great food.

Nice room with a great view. The pool was a great place to cool off and we enjoyed the snorkelling.
Weird vibe. Buffet food was fine but not what we would’ve chosen. Some of the pricing felt a bit steep. For example we were charged the same for a short transfer to East Cape as we were to be picked up from the airport. Overall we enjoyed our stay, it was the most expensive place we stayed in PNG but not our favourite.

Amazing location, Nosake & team are very welcoming and helpful.

it was a stunning location and all of the local staff were lovely
The manager was also the dive instructor.
Despite this, she didn’t seem to want to go diving!
I have dived before, but only discover scuba, so would need an instructor with me. She said she was too busy to come so I would have to settle for snorkel.
There were only 4 guests at the resort.
At dinner, another guest who was a certified dive instructor very kindly offered to move his dive to a shallower dive and be my instructor. The lady rejected this.
I found it very frustrating - I was at a dive resort wanting to go diving but the only dive instructor said she was too busy to go diving. Maybe she shouldn’t be the dive instructor and the resort manager.
The other staff at the respite and on the boat were absolutely lovely.

The activities were quite expensive as well as the transportation fee from airport to the Resort (K242 1 pax is extremely high)
