Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft mit leckerem Frühstück

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig in einer sicheren Wohngegend. Supermärkte und die Innenstadt sind sehr schnell zu erreichen. Der Poolbereich ist ebenso ruhig und lädt zum Entspannen und Verweilen ein. Die Liegen sind sehr bequem. Das Studio hat eine Küche mit Waschmaschine und Mikrowelle, die wir viel genutzt haben, da wir mit Baby verreist sind. Das babybett war hochwertig und mit einem Mückenschutz versehen. Das absolute Highlight ist jedoch das Frühstück. Auf unserer dreiwöchigen Reise war es das beste Frühstück, das wir bekommen haben. Die Mitarbeiterinnen sind alle so herzlich und nett und machen alles möglich. Durch eine Flugannulierung mussten wir länger bleiben und konnten spontan eine Nacht länger bleiben. Auch für Aktivitäten wurden wir gut beraten.

Quiet and very comfortable, with excellent service and good location.

The breakfast was delicious with some lovely baked goods, oats porridge and a cooked breakfast too. Lovely kind service, and the chance to sit outside around the pool if you like. The decor in the room and the house was very tasteful and made it feel like a real treat to stay there. The pool is well maintained and a pleasure to have a dip in the heat. It is very well located just off the R44 and in a quiet neighbourhood where people are somtimes running or walking around, so it feels safe. Shops are in walking distance.

Loved the neighborhood and convenience to wine country.

😀Loved the breakfast and the staff was very nice. Lots of items to choose from and cooked to order omelets, eggs, bacon, etc. The manager was helpful with dinner reservations and suggestions.. Our room was adequate and loved having a washer. I also had a full kitchen which I didn’t use. we loved having a big frig. We had a car which was nice to go to a nearby grocery. We did walk home from dinner one night. We also used Uber to dinner. If we had alcohol we never drove. SA has a zero tolerance policy. The bed in our room was too soft for me but not for my husband.

Load shedding as it is termed is another term for rolling blackouts. This property had daily and sometimes twice daily ones. This meant no a/c and made for hot nights- we were on the second floor facing the street and didn’t want car noise nor do we ever sleep with windows open. We were not aware of this issue in SA but even our next hotel also had similar issues because their generator didn’t cover everywhere in the hotel. This would make me not want to return in the hot months for certain. I can sleep cold but never hot.

Home Feeling at Stellenbosch

Nice pool area, welcoming and good organized staff and a delicious breakfast. We had an upstairs room with a wonderful view from the terrace. Quit location. Aircon for hot days and nights.

Wonderful guesthouse

We had a very pleasant stay at Baruch Guesthouse on Lovell. The rooms, the beds, the pool, the breakfast and the people, everything was just perfect! 1 night was way too short, so we definitely will come back.

The guest house is a nice quiet accommodation with a great breakfast.

The guest house is in a very quiet location, you can walk to the center of Stellenbosch. The breakfast is great, the hostess is very friendly.

Unfortunately, the receptionist told us as soon as we arrived that we would have to pay extra because my son is already 14 years old and is therefore considered an adult. However, we had booked with an age stated, so we found this announcement very inappropriate. We didn't have to pay anything extra either.

Great stay in the Stellenbosch wine country!

Everything about Baruch Guesthouse was fabulous. The breakfast was generous, and the staff very helpful. The rooms were cozy and comfortable.

As we didn't have a car, it was a pleasant walk into town, but maybe it would be easier to have a car to get around.

Little Blessing

What a beautiful place! Very clean and it was equipped with everything we needed and more. Attention to detail great. We were upgraded to the Great Gatsby Room which is the only room with a Victorian bath. We had a little balcony and a small kitchenette with bar fridge, microwave etc. bed was comfortable and location was good… not far from the city central. They have solar panels so no problem when it comes to loadshedding. We would definitely like to go back.

Unfortunately they do not do halaal breakfast but has a variety of delicious vegetarian goodies.

I always look forward to staying at Baruch Guesthouse. Love how each room has its own personality. Rooms are spacious and are equipped with nearly anything you could need. Since the last time I stayed here they have introduced solar panels which was a blessing during Stage 6 loadshedding. Staff were friendly as always and breakfast was lovely.

Lovely stay at Baruch Guesthouse. Only spent a night but it was great to have a direct access from the room to the pool, with small dedicated patio for each room. Staff was also very helpful.

Excellence stay in a lovely Guest House

Really lovely guest house and a fantastic room. Excellent breakfast and great location close to Stellenbosch centre. Secure safe parking on site.

The pool didn’t appear to be very clean. Also in the Venice room, the staff wash the laundry directly facing the bathroom window with the sink immediately behind the toilet which is quite disconcerting.
