The accommodation was comfy and cosy. Exactly what we needed for a quick gateway. The granola was excellent as well !

Ian & Terri provided a home away from home. Cheerful and happy couple who did everything they could to make our stay an enjoyable one

Easy to find. Good places to eat around location.
Very easy to get to Spirit of Tasmania for morning sailing

In Chinese, we say 賓至如歸.
The host is very nice and gentle.
The place is clean and good for family to stay.

The hosts were very warm and welcoming. A small selection of goodies were left for breakfast including homemade granola. The beds were very comfy, the lounge was perfect and the shower was great.
The kitchenette was very basic (but this was as described so no suprise) but there is the offer of using the kitchen downstairs for a fee. The lack of door to the upstairs meant you slightly lacked privacy but didnt affect our stay.

The hosts, Terri and Ian, were very warm and friendly. Nothing was any trouble for them .

the place is spacious and loads of entertainment provided in the place which are suitable for families and a group of people. The host even offer the homemade granola in the pantry. Location wise, it's less than 10mins drive to the Geelong CBD and few minutes away from the Belmont town center.

Breakfast excellent, location close to all amenities
No improvement needed with stay.

We were welcomed by the hosts and made to feel welcome and comfortable

Comfortable beds. Homemade granola provided by welcoming hosts.
I wasn't expecting that we would be under the same roof as home owners until I read their email. I guess i didn't pay too much attention when booking. I would have preferred accommodation with our own access rather than rooms via someone's residential front door

Terri makes her own granola, other options also available. Private lounge makes an excellent work and rest zone. The bedroom is comfortable
The traffic can be noisy, but abates later in the evening

Airconditioning and ceiling fans for comfort. Milk, butter and biscuits in the fridge. Coffee and tea provided plus a microwave and toaster. Very clean. Plenty of pillows and extra blankets. Although on a busy road it was quiet. Ian and Terri were very welcoming and friendly hosts.

The beds were so comfortable, living room was large and airy.
Not very private...advertised as having a private entrance, no their front door.
Very uncomfortable knowing and hearing them downstairs and when going out, turning around a there she was in my face.
Didn't see alfresco or BBQ area, pretty dodgy kitchen area, plastic bowl for washing up, little table and 2 chairs on verandah with ash try supplied, that was good apart from the location. Next to split system unit and dirty old shoes, not to mention the car on the right full of cobwebs and stuff. Front yard was not maintained. I could go on, but I won't

Great location for exploring the Great Ocean Road. Appreciated the quiet location away from the tourist hustle on the coast. Hosts were friendly and considerate and we enjoyed the privacy. Great value all round.

Location was convenient for me
I wasn't aware that it was a private home and would have preferred a motel or serviced apartment.

Terry and Ian were very welcoming to us on arrival. Accommodation is located in a great safe location. Would recommend Gateway to the Surf Coast and Geelong as a great stay.

Nothing
There is no door between the rented rooms and the owners’ rooms. So no privacy and no security at all. I was shocked and distressed. I have asked for my money back with no success. I did not stay.
4.3
Big room, friendly staff, free tea, coffee, fresh milk, filtered water, cereal.
Noisy location, dog & trucks woke me up during the night
4.3
we needed somewhere to sleep
that we had the same access to the property as the owners
4.3
great location, and great set up

We loved the little touches… the homemade granola, the thoughtful plant-based milks, all the puzzles and games to enjoy. The space is a great size.
The shower pressure was the only tiny issue.

The view from the top story. Loved the snacks provided! It’s got a great warm home feeling :)
The owners where to involve. Needs to be a door or even something little like a fence. At one point we where trying to stop the dog from doing laps up stairs where I was meant to be staying.
