Lovely gardens
It was very grubby and cold , the first impression was very uninviting. There are no facilities nearby and the impression on B.C is that there is a restaurant. This is not the case and the nearest restaurant is 10 minutes drive away . We arrived on a damp day in a cold dirty room with no facilities. We decided to stay elsewhere.

The garden, the dogs, the suite, the staff! Everything was great.

It is a beautiful old house in the countryside. Lovely outdoor seating areas.
The furniture in our room was a bit mix and match.

Rural settings, really nice and charming place.

A step back in history in a beautiful natural setting. Jeff shared with us his vision for the place, and showed us the way to the garden walk which he has developed himself over the past 24 years.
We drove to Aughrim to stay in this country house, so changed our route to accomodate this. Obviously, you can't move a house in a setting like this! And in the process, we also discovered Avoca and the weaving! So a negative became a positive!!!

De rust; prachtige tuinen, mooi oud pand, oog voor detail, dubbele douche, sauna, heerlijk ontbijt met ruime keus, lieve honden, je hoort geen auto’s alleen maar vogels

It was a comfortable country house.
The en-suite in our room was quite awkward to use because the wash hand basin didn’t allow the door to fully open.

We had a fantastic weekend stay at the country House! The check-in service, and delicious breakfast made our experience truly memorable. From the welcoming staff to the comfortable rooms, everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you for creating such a delightful environment.

Breakfast: AMAZING! Staff (dogs included): lovely.
The only small pity: the bed could be more comfortable, but still, everything was great!

Just not for us. Nice grounds, warm room, breakfast was typical breakfast.. We went with an open mind as we do with the majority of our vacations.
I wish we would have been informed of the extensive scaffolding outside the apartment.
The wind had been extremely bad the night we stayed, and I thought the scaffolding was going to come in the bedroom window or down on top of my car parked in the courtyard.
I have no doubt the buildings under construction will be beautiful once completed.

The lady owner was very nice and obliging and staff at breakfast were very helpful.
Due to trip adviser I had to pay an extra £60 euros for the room as I did not put the ages of my kids down and was called half hour before arrival to be told. The booking went through. If I had have known sooner I would have cancelled as the hotel was also far from where I needed to
Be but the hotel owner said it was too late for a refund. Not happy about it I went to the hotel but it was a lovely room no tv my kids and husband weren’t happy but husband was very happy that the management gave us a room with a sauna. Was a great stay after a long tiresome journey.

Gorgeous old worldy house. Beautiful, grounds. Friendly and welcoming staff. Our family room was massive and had a huge hidden bathroom which the kids loved (shower lovely and powerful too). Beautiful freestanding bath too. They had an extra bed made up for our youngest. Massive comfy bed. Two in our party were doing Quest in Glendalough the following morning so they very kindly gave us breakfast early at 7.30am. The breakfast was delicious, nicest scrambled eggs I've ever had and the porridge was yummy too. The kids loved the pancakes and the freshly made scones. We saw 2 gorgeous Airdale dogs around in the morning. We all embraced there being no TV, it was a welcome relief from the screen saturation we have at home. Woken by birds singing. It was fabulous!
That we got there so late (9.40) and had to leave early (8am) so couldn't fully enjoy and appreciate the amazing surroundings.

We had a lovely stay at Clone House. Room was spotless clean, breakfast was excellent and the grounds of the property are fabulous. Our goldendoodle, TJ, had the best time out of all of us though- making friends with Theon, Lily and Maxime. They were best friends by the end of the stay! Sevtlana was an excellent host and very kind.
Nothing at all - everything was great!

The faculties booked both the physical content and added value. The establishment was excellent value along with good, friendly, customer service, and nothing was a problem to the establishment.
The relatively short period of stay, only two nights!

Would have liked a handle to be able to close the bathroom door properly. Otherwise lovely stay

What a beautiful place!!! I was having great expectations for this place but in reality it was even better!!! A beautiful country house in the middle of the countryside, with a magnificent garden, not a single noise around apart from birds and the wind! The inside of the house is beautiful, very well-finished, every detail is perfetct! The kids room was super big, with an entire room dedicated to the shower and even a sauna! Our double room was having a lovely fireplace! The breakfast is served in two cosy dining rooms and it is very well done!
I have loved it!

Great countryside escape! Very friendly hosts! Nice !!!

Interesting old place set in a slightly remote location so no noise at night.
Definitely fading glory and desperately in need of general upkeep and maintenance. The grounds had pretty much been neglected from what was once an obvious well planned garden.
Our bed linen had a lot of short black hair on it!

The setting is very lovely, though it is remote.
It would have been great if they offered an evening meal option.

It was nice and quiet even though it was full. Didn't feel everyone was on top of each other.

This is a place if you want to get away from it all. Beautiful house. Bedroom very comfortable. Svetlana and Jeff great hosts. Freshly cooked breakfast. Beautiful gardens.
Wi-Fi in bedroom not good but it’s fine in the lounge but then who needs Wi-Fi if you want an escape for a while to a beautiful country home.

Pretty gardens and lovely big period room.
We were very underwhelmed. Our expectation was high but unfortunately we were disappointed. We arrived and no one greeted us. Finally after 5 min we found someone who was very nice and talkative. After that we never saw our hosts for the entire time. No good morning from the staff when we came down for breakfast or any direction as to what was to be expected. I was also disappointed to see that you could see through the door jam into the bathroom quite easily. The mattress was so hard I would have been more comfortable on the floor.

Beautiful entrance and grounds. The drive to the property is awesome.
I felt the "welcome" could have been better after a long drive. Instead, we were quickly told that we owed €30 for an extra person. Not the Irish welcome experience I had hoped for my visiting out of town relations!
Closest restaurant was Wooden bridge hotel which was more of a hotel bistro.

The breakfast was excellent
The room was a bit small and cramped
