Lovely location, perfect for a quiet get away. Very nice hosts, good communication.
The bed and sofa (sofa bed) are not the most comfortable. You are asked not to light the stove which was a shame. The blinds on the velux windows are very difficult to close and let in a lot of light, not ideal if you are hoping to have a lie-in.

It was a beautiful place to stay, only mark down in the location was the roads, absolutely no fault of the owners, an amazing place to stay. Will definitely be back!
Roads were not ideal up to the estate.

Beautiful location amazing views, friendly staff, excellent facilities,
Slightly inconsistent heat in the shower

A lovely welcome card and deserts were left to wish me a Happy Birthday. The host greeted us when we arrived
A very handy online guide and map was supplied before our trip so we could get tips about our accomodation, local takeaways and shops, and plan activities.
Beautiful quiet private accomdation in nature-perfect for couples!
Loved the projector for movies and the outdoor shower for after our sea swims!
No aircon-it was very hot in the rooms and my partner couldn't sleep one night. We couldn't leave the window open as a lot of bugs came in the window
It might have been handy if a small amount of cooking oil or washing up liquid could have been supplied for our trip.

Host - tremendously helpful. See below with issue. Pods are individual and ideal for a short stay
Well not a lot, but Booking.com allowed us to book a pod which it said dogs were allowed in. When booked and paid, turned out no. We were moved to the lodge, but that was double booked on our arrival. Ben managed to move us to a pod (ideal as that is what we wanted), but we could have been really stuck if nothing available.
Hedge in front of ‘view’ window needed a trim to get the best of the fab view. Lots of auto emails about the stay that fill your mailbox

It was always quiet and peaceful. Beautiful walks and tracks within walking distance. The accommodation was dog friendly. There was freshly produced cows milk nearby. Plenty to do for a number of days and loads of information leaflets in our accommodation of local interests to see and do.
The only small issue was the spiders and their cobwebs above the bed. We will get even worse with our small nags and say it might be no harm to have a sign for location of bins for doggy poop bags.

Our stay was just a dream, so close to the sea, lots of privacy and the perfect place to relax and unwind
5.0
Absolutely everything! The room is clean, comfy, has all appliance you'd need (stoves, cutlery, plates, toaster, kettle, etc.).
We specially enjoyed the projector for movie nights ! a lovely note was also the picnic blanket that we used at the beach.
To note we don't have a car, but you can walk quite easily to the beach and taxis can come and collect you.

Could not find anything

Fantastic facilities in such a small space
For the price of a 5 star Hotel, breakfast should be included. Not much to do in the area

Super private, lovely location and amazing large window for staring at the sky and sea for hours
The check-in is very last, especially if you want to go for a nice long walk and dinner. 3:30 is just a bit too late, especially when you leave at 12 - for the price a check-in of 1 would be a big improvement

Beautiful location, well thought out and presented room.
The blinds broke which ruined the sea view in the morning. The basin drain was very slow draining so bowl filled up while brushing teeth. Lots of air in the heating system so very noisy at night, has to turn it off to get to sleep.

The location was perfect for us. The view of the sea was amazing. Would really recommend Tara Estate Lodge. Meet staff member Dolores in the morning she was more than helpful and had a great knowledge of the local area

We had an absolutely stunning trip for my birthday recently. This little spot is a gem! It has everything you need and more. My only complaint is that we only stayed for 1 night!

We had a fantastic stay. Our room was spotless, extremely comfortable and fully equipped. It's clear that Ben & Vanessa have put a lot of love and hard work into the Wild Rooms. I can't praise thek enough. They have thought of everything. The location is stunning, the beach is approx 1 mile away. Gorey is less than 10 minute drive away. We highly recommend as a place to unwind and recharg. We will be back.
No suggestions, everything was perfect.

Lovely modern yet simple property in the middle of sea and Forrest.
The heating was a bit noisy until I figured out when I turned the temperature down it went quiet.

Beautiful hand-delivered breakfast! The bread was amazing; it was the perfect start to a miserable rainy day, munching on croissants while watching the rain! I would recommend it to everyone.
Nothing it was amazing!
