Great place to stay in the Labrina wine country.

Excellent location, converted shipping containers sited on working horse stud, located within easy reach of the many wineries in the area, hosts very friendly and chatty. Cottage was rustic in keeping with the rural setting, features a kitchenette, lounge and two beds, bed was very comfortable and the heat pump made the cottage very cosy, excellent WiFi. We enjoyed our stay and would return again.

The path from the parking area to the cottage is a bit eroded and can get slippery.

Lovely little getaway with everything you might need

This was a return stay to the property for us after a year or two and it did not disappoint. This is a fantastic place to stay if you are looking for accommodation in the area. It is lovely and cosy and well-maintained. Exactly as the photos depict. There is also now very good wi-fi access at the property, making it easier to stay connected if you choose to!

We could bring our dogs, it was lovely and quiet and an easy drive to some lovely attractions such as treetops adventure park, wineries, beach, lavender farm etc. Alison was a fantastic host. We took our food and the kitchen was well equipped with a set of hotplates, pots, frying pan, glass ware, crockery and cutlery. The BBQ on the deck was handy too. The fireplace is out of action but the heat pump warms the place up nicely. One double bed and one queen. Perfect for what we needed.

Very good

The apartment was lovely and cozy, bed warm and comfy which was what we needed after a long day of hiking. It was lovely meeting Alison, definitely the best part about our stay. if I was to come back in the area, I’d definitely come here.

great location but there are issues

location wise, it is near some great wineries.

The accomodation is next to the residential property so I can’t say there is remoteness/privacy that I expected. There is no wifi which is fine but there is absolutely no phone reception. I found the bed sheets/blankets to be smelly and in need of a wash. I did not find the stay value for money.

Relaxing farm stay

the property was in a great farm location if you are after a nice relaxing farm getaway with family. lots of animals to see, if u are an animal lover you’ll enjoy this place. the owner is super friendly.

there is no private access to the cabin, you have to park your car infront of the owner’s house and take all your things from there to the cabin, it wasn’t a huge hassle for us but it would’ve been handy to be able to get bags/food in and out w/o going through owner’s house esp on wet weather conditions. Also updated photos on the site also helps. overall we had a wonderful stay. thank you

Such a beautiful spot to stay. Alison and her family have thought of everything you would need. Its lovely waking up and seeing the horses in the surrounding paddocks. Would definitely recommend!

Pleasant two night stay in the countryside with everything we needed.

Lovely location in the countryside. The host went to a lot of effort to ensure our stay was pleasant and comfortable. The beds are excellent and the kitchen is well equipped. Generally we find that kitchens have few utensils etc. where we have stayed in the past but Alison supplied everything imaginable. We were also very impressed with the quality, good sized towels that were supplied. Highly recommended.

An authentic farm experience

The property is situated in an ideal location to the wineries! Peanut the cat came up for a visit which we enjoyed. The hosts were really lovely and helpful.

Perfect location for a visit to the local wineries or the beaches. Dog friendly so brilliant for our furry companion. Lovely hosts who where very welcoming and helpful.

Peaceful farm based accommodation with friendly hosts, comfortable accommodation and lovely country vista.

Centrally located to wineries we wanted to visit. The accommodation interested me because it is a converted shipping container. Our host was very friendly and welcoming. Loved being in a horse property and out in the country. Everything you need is there, it’s not five star but very good value for the money.

We couldn’t drive up to it so had to carry luggage and supplies over a rustic path. limited phone reception but had anticipated this.

Beautiful drive to get there through the prettiest countryside! If you love animals then you’ve come to the right place as we felt right at home with Arabian horses to be seen out the windows dachshund dogs plus the most gorgeous puppy and a playful border collie and friendly mama cat and her babies ! Very peaceful and comfortable and the most loviest off hosts who made us feel very welcome and gave us a tour off their horses !
