About this house rental
Casa Alegre, is a beautiful luxury house with arguably the best views in all of Punta Mita. It features four bedrooms, five baths and has 4200 sq. ft. of indoor air-conditioned space along with another 3000 sq. ft. of outdoor patio, pool deck and terrace space. It is a wonderful place to relax and unwind amid the natural beauty/quiet serenity of Punta Mita and the designer inspired decorating throughout the residence. It is centrally located within the El Encanto community of the gated Punta Mita resort. El Encanto is a private home enclave that has its own gate and 24/7 security staff.
Our house comfortably sleeps eight people and we enjoy having smaller groups as they tend to be less noisy and more respectful of the property and its furnishings. So far, we have been most fortunate to mostly have had guests who treat our home and our neighbors with great respect. We hope to continue to have such guests in the future.
We specifically designed and decorated our home to create a feeling of casual elegance. The outdoor family room, dining room, courtyard and pool all flow seamlessly with the indoor space and decorating to provide an overall feeling of harmony, spaciousness and optimism. It was important to us that we create an atmosphere of comfortable style, fun and fashion. We believe we have done so. Casa Alegre, which means house of Joy, has many amenities and features including:
-Magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean, Puerto Vallarta and Sierra Madres Mountains. We never tire of these views and in the winter months they are enhanced by the whales who visit annually and are seen playing just off-shore.
-Daily housekeeping Monday through Saturday which includes breakfasts being made for all guests. Private cook lunches and dinners is also available for an extra charge.
-A full sized swimming pool with water and gas fire pit features.
-Outdoor family room with 50 inch HDTV and gas fire place.
-Outdoor kitchen with gas BBQ grill, refrigerator and sink.
-High speed WiFi service throughout the property.
-Fully appointed and large indoor kitchen with wine refrigerator and breakfast bar.
-Large indoor living room with 70 inch HDTV.
-Fully enclosed outdoor courtyard with four large palm trees and a relaxing water wall. Courtyard can also be used as a fifth bedroom in a pinch with queen-sized Aero bed that comes with the residence.
-Spacious master bedroom suite with king bed, grand master bath, covered outdoor terrace with jaw dropping ocean views, HDTV and a Keurig coffee bar/refrigerator.
-Three additional bedrooms, one with a king bed, one with two queen beds and one with two full size beds.
-Six person golf cart.
-Large garage for rental car and golf cart.
-State of the art AV system featuring three large screen HDTV sets, Fire TV sticks and Sonos sound system.

This was our first trip to Punta Mita and we highly recommend this property. Resort was incredible and this house was perfect for a family of 8. Plenty of room, fully up to date, great pool, beautiful views and well stocked with whatever you need. Special shout out to Christain and Marcela who made our stay extra special. Our second time staying at this beautiful home. It has everything you need! Best ocean views, golf course views and the floor plan is perfect for our family. The home is kept in great condition and comes with a housekeeper and concierge to make your stay feel like you are in a hotel, but with much more privacy. We would definitely come back!

We can not say enough wonderful things about this home. The pictures did not do this place justice- the pictures are very accurate but the place is so much better in person. The home is the perfect outdoor/indoor beach front property. The pool is lovely and the views every morning are just wonderful. Beds are comfortable and plenty of hot water! Master bedroom has an outdoor shower which we loved. Our housekeeper/cook mercella was very sweet and made the best breakfast every morning. We arranged to have a private chef one night for my birthday and that was fantastic. I would recommend this home to anyone and everyone! Our concierge, Christian, was very attentive and made all our reservations we requested. Will be back!

Casa Allegre is everything described and more. Spending the day at the gorgeous pool, sipping on a cocktail is a dream, while hearing the waves of the ocean. It was so relaxing and truly superb.
The house is impeccably maintained with their lovely housekeeper Maricela. Everything was so pristine! We were greeted every morning with a beautiful breakfast and smile by Maricela. She is such a sweetheart and gift to the property.
Christian the concierge ensured that we had all our groceries upon arrival and everything was as we needed. He was easy to communicate with and took initiative right away if we needed something.
Brian, the homeowner, has been so accommodating and kind throughout the entire stay (and beforehand!). He truly wants his guests to enjoy their time in Punta Mita.
Absolutely couldn’t recommend this property enough. It’s everything you could want and need and more. We were so grateful to stay here!

Despite the heat and mosquitoes we had an wonderful experience at this beautiful home. Omar, our concierge and Marsala our maid and breakfast preparer were great and met all our needs. Not the best time of year to visit this area but due to foreseen problems we had to change our visit dates at the last minute and thanks to the home owner he let us do it. Thank you, Brian.

The house is oceanfront located on a par 3. Quiet neighbors & in a gated community.
Casa Alegre is the perfect floor plan for us. My husband & I traveled with my Mom and for part of the time we had an additional 2 adults plus 4 kids join us. Each bedroom is en suite and private like its own casita. 1 bedroom downstairs & 3 upstairs.
Location is ideal being close to the Sufi Beach Club & pier.
Everything you need is a golf cart away. We enjoyed having Maricela around cleaning for us (she makes the best guacamole) and Omar made all of our dinner reservations and car transfers.
We will definitely return.

We've spent spring break in Punta Mita for over a decade, and this was our first stay at Casa Alegre. It was perfection from start to finish! Omar (concierge) attended to our every need in advance and while on property, and Maricela (cook and housekeeper) prepared fabulous breakfasts each morning. Their service was surpassed only by their kindness! The El Encanto location is ideal, and we spent perfect afternoons and evenings by the pool and in the comfy outdoor living room enjoying the stunning view. Couldn't recommend Casa Alegre more highly!

We had two families with kids ages 9-16 and Punta Mita was fabulous. The house is beautiful and I don’t think the pictures do the view justice. One evening we decided we wanted to rent bikes and With one text to Omar they were waiting for us when we woke up. Marciela is the housekeeper and cooks a beautiful breakfast spread. A+ house.

My family just returned from our spring break stay at Casa Alegre and everything about this home is first class. The owner Brian is very kind, helpful and quick to respond. We were greeted upon arrival by Omar and Maricela and they were amazing our entire stay. Omar was quick to help with anything we ever needed and was just a really great guy and same with Maricela she was so sweet, helpful and made the best breakfasts I think I have ever had. We were traveling with small children as well as teens and they all loved everything about this house too. It is such a beautiful property and really made our first time to Punta Mita all the more special and we would definitely love to come back. Thank you so much for opening your home to us Brian!

Hola! Where do I even begin? Casa Alegre is a DREAM! My family and I booked the casa for our mom’s 60th birthday trip and we were just speechless all week. There was seven of us and there was plenty of room!!
Upon arrival, Omar and Felix greeted us at the door. Our amazing housekeeper, Rosario had fresh guacamole and fresh squeezed orange juice waiting for us as we walked in. Omar, Felix and Rosario were more than incredible and we cannot thank them enough for our wonderful vacation!! They assisted with booking all of our travel and excursions and Rosario made amazing breakfasts every single morning. She did our laundry and kept the house spotless daily and we were so lucky to have her all week. Felix and Omar were a huge help getting groceries and stoking the fridge upon arrival and making trips to the store for us throughout the week.
The house itself is spectacular. The views are breath taking and the community the house is in is indescribable. We had a golf cart at the house where we could go in to town, to the four beach clubs - including the St. Regis and Four Seasons.
We booked Chef Mita’s Catering for dinner one night and ended up booking them for three total nights. Antonio and Julio were just delightful. They made us amazing dinners and delicious drinks as we relaxed and hung out at the house. It beat all the meals we had outside the property. I highly recommend when booking Casa Alegre.

We just returned from Punta Mita where our family of 8 adults and 2 infants enjoyed a much needed getaway at Casa Alegre. It's hard to know where to begin one's review of a very beautiful happy home as Casa Alegre means in Spanish. Brian, the home's owner, made you feel right at home before you even stepped in the villa's door. He answered emails promptly and put you at ease knowing you picked the right home to stay. Thank you Brian. We were in great hands with house managers, Omar & Giovanni, and house keeper and amazing breakfast cook, Maricela. Traveling with 2 infants presents it's own challenges and through emails, Omar assisted with airport transfers, the rentals of baby equipment and extra golf cart, a private chef for our many home dinners, grocery shopping to stock the refrigerator before our arrival and his help with making reservations when we ventured outside the villa's gates. Maricela kept the home immaculate and you almost never saw her during the day while she was there, but it's her breakfasts that were a highlight of our mornings. We got to select the breakfast menu and with a few vegetarians in our family she was flexible and gracious, from making delicious chilaquiles to favorites like French toast and fresh fruit smoothies. And before she left for the day she laid out a generous bowl of homemade guacamole and salsa and chips to enjoy by the pool. Gracias Maricela. Not knowing which baby was going to bed early, we decided to make it easy and have a private chef come and make dinner most nights. It was the best decision; Sergio and his staff, Silvia and Antonio, shopped for the meal, prepared it, set the table, served excellant margaritas followed by several tasty courses including local fresh fish, homemade salads, breads, and desserts and quietly cleaned up before they left for the night. They were fun to meet and talk with and were a special part of our family vacation. We spent lazy afternoons by the large pool overlooking the Bahia golf course and Bay of Bandaras and as other reviews noted, the photos don't fully capture all the magic of Casa Alegre and attention to detail. Each couple had a private in-suite with comfy bed and linens, a luxurious bathroom and soaps. The home has everything a large family group needs; a spacious layout to relax, play cards, listen to music, read and enjoy time together. Casa Alegre gave us a wonderful family vacation and we're grateful to all who helped make it a very happy one.

This is the first time I write a review. I felt compelled to do it because my family’s experience was that amazing! Casa Alegre is not only a beautiful property, the service that Maricela and Hector provide is beyond spectacular. The villa is elegant and had everything we needed: ocean view, beautiful grounds, clean, spacious, private pool, golf cart, the best concierge and housekeeper (more like house manager), and access to exclusive amenities. Brain, the owner, is accessible and charming. The last time I was as relaxed like I was visiting Casa Alegre, was before my children were born. :) My entire family enjoyed our stay and will definitely pick Casa Alegre over the Four Seasons on our next trip!

This is my 5th stay in Punta Mita and I love this house. While the 4seasons, ports fortuna and hacienda de Mita are great Casa Allegre is ocean and golf course facing. You can sit all day and watch the swell in and the walk to Sufi for lunch. The house is super clean, comfortable abd tastefully decorated with Apple TV and Sonos. Maricella is great chef and housekeeper and Omar will make sure the trip runs smoothly. I can wait to come back!! Thanks Brian!

Such a wonderful place. We took our kids (4 and 6) and our parents for the week to celebrate a 70th bday. It’s rare to find a perfect blend of upscale but approachable to accommodate everyone. The house was stunning- we could sit out and enjoy the evenings and the kids could swim. The layout of the house worked well for a group too. The staff greeted us upon arrival and had everything perfect for us! They organized chefs to prepare (amazing!) dinners in, had the pantry stocked so we could relax and enjoy the week. Each morning Marisella made a beautiful family breakfast...and kept the house immaculate. We can’t thank the team enough for the care and experience they provided for us. We will be back!

We had an incredible stay at Casa Alegre. Everything was perfect! Since the booking, the owner was thorough on his communications and very responsive. Prior to our arrival, Gio (concierge) communicated with us and made sure we had everything we needed at the house. He also arranged pick up and drop off at airport. At the house, Marisela was super sweet and cooked delicious breakfasts!! The location could have not been better, super close to Sufi and easy to get to the other clubs with the golf cart (food and drinks at the clubs are reasonably priced). Having said that, there were days that we just stayed at the house and enjoyed the amazing pool and view. We felt very safe even when we ventured out of the gates to the little village. Gio arranged for a chef to cook dinner for us too and the food was delicious. On the last day, my son had an ear infection and we took him to the little hospital just outside the gates. This is a new facility, everyone spoke English, and we were relieved to be able to get care and medicine so easily and with trustworthy doctor. While everyone hopes not to visit the hospital during vacations, it is nice to know that you can count with this type of structure there. We had rented other houses in Mexico before and Casa Alegre is by far the best and our favorite. We will definitely come back!
