Central location. Apartment was great to share with friend. Home from home. Great food in hotel.
Bed uncomfortable. Could feel springs in mattress.
4.3
They are on a cycle route and there was no problem with bike storage.
4.3
Good location for Hadrian’s Wall path. Friendly staff and nice pub facilities
Stairs as hard with luggage
4.3
Location was good and the room was ok.
Parking not easy. Food below average.
4.3
Friendly welcome, good pub food, great breakfast. Everything we asked for was done immediately and willingly. Rooms well equipped and warm.
Parking was a bit limited (4 spaces).
No food served on Sunday evening ( understandable after 250 lunches).
Could have done with some hooks on doors for clothes and accessible electric points.
We mentioned these and the lady in charge was happy, took notes and said she would try to do something.
4.3
Lively body bar and big log fire.
Nowhere else to eat in town in a Sunday night.

Very friendly staff.
I found the bed quite uncomfortable -it seemed to angle off - as if it had been sat on - on the edge extensively.
4.3
Bed linen was good quality.
Rooms were run down with dirty walls, ceilings and stained bed tables and the shower hose was falling apart, extraction fan in bathroom was completely covered in dust, fire in the bar went out and was not relit so the bar was cold, food was inedible and cold and I sent mine back and was not charged for it, we were told the restaurant last booking was 7:30 but when we looked at the menu it said 8:30. The dark haired girl seemed to do all the running around whilst the blonde girl tried to avoid eye contact at all costs.

Received a cordial welcome when I booked in. Clear instructions as to where breakfast would be served, and we were asked when we would prefer to have breakfast. Shown to our room by the person who booked us in, which was lovely, rather than the ubiquitous "it's up there!" that sadly seems to occur in chains.
Fabulously quiet room, with efficient radiators, and decent space around the bed which meant no stubbed toes (and resultant cussing) when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
Breakfast was perfect! Traditional cooked English meal was supplementary to cereals, fresh fruit and juices, and croissants.

Friendly, clean tidy and for us great location
Nothing to say

Nothing, everything was good. Thanks again

Wonderful staff, great food, comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Great atmosphere

Location and character. Pleasant bedroom. Traditional bar. I had a really brilliantly restful night’s sleep
I found the door access system a trial (I have a visual disability). Room was a bit plain (but everything was in place and I had an outstanding night’s sleep as noted above).
4.3
Location very good for visiting the area, staff friendly
room not made up on Sunday

Location was convenient for Hadrian’s Wall Cycle Route.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
We were looking forward to our stay as the website and reviews look promising. However, the hotel and our room was far less plush than expected.
Our twin room was basic but spacious and needs updating. The bathroom was tired. The bathroom door handle was loose. The shower was temperamental.
The ‘bike shed’ was secure but doesn’t have a roof. Not great as it rained over night.
4.3
Great location, friendly staff, rooms clean and comfortable. Great food
Parking was a bit tricky as hotel car park hard to find. Got sorted in the end

I like Haltwhistle and it is a lovely old pub. Room comfortable and quiet. Staff very pleasant but could have done with help up the stairs. Dinner was excellent as was breakfast. They pride themselves on their cooking. Room smallish but adequately equipped.
Parking was not available as promised and o don’t think ever available because of courtesy bus parking . Beer garden did not seem available for drinking.
4.3
staff very welcoming
evening food, bold statements about fresh homemade food, all starters brought in, pizza was shocking, lasagna very bland,

Very comfortable bed, nice room, very friendly staff and excellent food. The hotel is in the main street, right next to the Market Square and church.
A chair in the room would have saved having to sit on the bed.

Perfect location to Hadrians Wall. Very quiet village. Our room was very small but adequate for two nights. The breakfast every morning was delicious. Dinner in the restaurant was also excellent. Loved our stay here..

The apartment was adorable, well-furnished and stocked. We stayed in family room one evening playing games, then watched the town come to life the next morning. Sainsbury's grocery a short scenic stroll away and laundry across the street. Pub staff very friendly despite being obviously busy. A great stay, and a short drive or long walk to Hadrian's Wall and related museums.
We couldn't stay longer.

Excellent - especially the fresh fruit salad
4.3
Great location for exploring Haydrians Wall its really close by, we also took a drive to the Lakes District, WOW!
Good range of beers and wines.
Convenient parking.
Good food.
They seemed a bit understaffed in the dining room on Saturday night, it didn't seem to matter that we booked a table, walk in customers were served before us.
4.3
Good hotel with decent sized room, good shower and comfortable bed. Good restaurant and food. Excellent staff. Very handy to the visitor sites for Hadrians Wall.

breakfast was excellent. I booked the site on booking .com with a room that was indicated as double/twin bed. Was surprised to find it was a double bed which was not suitable for me and my friend. The staff said there were no twin rooms available but were able to separate a double into two twins in the next room. Very much appreciated.
