About this apartment rental

Our Maui Beach Retreat is located in the pleasant Kihei Kai Nani condo complex. The unit is situated at the back of the complex, away from street noise, providing a nice quiet location. The lanai is surrounded by beautiful tree's and is great for relaxing. The bamboo ceiling adds a peaceful feel. It is a one bedroom condo with a comfortable queen size memory foam bed. The living room has a pullout sofa for an extra sleeping space. There is a full sized fully equipped kitchen and the property also has several BBQ's and picnic tables for your uses. The complex features a large sparkling swimming pool with gazebo's and lounge chairs for your enjoyment. It also provides an on-site laundry facility, if needed. Our condo does provide air conditioning however, the trade winds allow lots of fresh cool air to move through the unit.

The surrounding area is home to many beautiful pristine beaches. Kamaole Beach is just a few minutes walk down the driveway and is great for swimming, snorkeling, stand up board paddling and watching the sea turtles that frequent the waters. It also provides a spectacular view of the sunsets!

Besides those mentioned above, Maui offers an assortment of water activities such as surfing, body boarding, scuba diving, kayaking, kite boarding and wind surfing. All within close proximity of the condo.

If you want to experience a phenomenal sunrise, make a trip to Haleakala!

There are many exceptional restaurants, bars and retail establishments right next door and within easy walking distance of the condo.

We had a great visit in Kiehe. Karen’s condo was perfect. It had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. Pool was awesome. We walked across the street to the beach for sunset every evening. We also walked to coconuts for fish tacos a couple of times - in the shopping center next door. Can’t wait to return!

I have never stayed in such a well stocked beautifully decorated condo before. Not only is Karen’s condo tastefully decorated with that Hawaiian tropical vibe it is perfectly located on Maui’s best beaches. It also has everything you could possibly need. We have never been in such a well stocked rental as this. I’ve cold Aloe Vera in the fridge for those sun burns-beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, small cooler with ice packs-beach towels, shampoo and conditioner, condiments- you name it! The pool is beautiful and the grounds are so well kept. Her lanai is where we spent most of our evenings. The beaches across the road is where we lost count of all the sea turtles we’d see daily. They would come right into shore when the tide came in. We also saw dolphins breaching and slapping their tails a couple hundred yards off shore. This has been one of our best vacations! I would 100% recommend Karen’s condo to all my friends and relatives and we will surely be back again some day. Thank you also for your excellent communication-mahalo Karen!

Was surprised at how quiet and calm the neighborhood was. Also was good location to easily visit other areas of the island. Enjoyed the beaches a lot and close shopping.

Loved the location of the condo and was perfect for our stay. Check in was easy and there were so many fun restaurants and spots to check out. The fan in the bedroom was perfect in keeping the room cool at night, we didn’t even need to use the A/C. Thank you again!

Small condo but it absolutely worked for a family of three. Karen is an amazing and accommodating host who had excellent communication. The location of this condo is perfect. Restaurants, coffee shops, etc all within walking distance.

I thought this place was the prefect location and so close to the beach! It wasn't even a 10 minute walk. My other family members stayed at The Hale Pau Hana so it was easy to meet with them and swim at the ocean. The condo was clean and had almost everything you would need. Our only issue was that there were no additional fans to use in the bed room or living room. There was one but it was set up in front of the AC. If we had more fans we could of pulled more air in from outside when it was cooler outside instead of the using the AC. Otherwise, would go back! Thank you!

Condo was very clean & well stocked. Kitchen had plenty of dishes & utensils. Appliances all in good working order. Extra linens, towels, and even a couple beach/pool towels provided. Pool area & laundry facilities were also clean & maintained. Location is fabulous. Walking distance to many restaurants & beaches. We had a wonderful vacation!

Staying at Kiehi kai nani is a a great location. It's walking distance for everything. My grandson & girlfriend loved it. They wished they could stay forever!!! The condo was equipped with everything. It's on our list to stay there again.

We stayed at this property the week of Aug 13-20, 2022. The condo is located directly across Kamaole Beach Park II and is walking distance to local restaurants. The condo had beach chairs, an umbrella and other goodies available for use. I would recommend this condo for those interested in accommodations close to a beach and restaurants.

Great property, we were pleasantly surprised to be in a building at the back of the property, no road noise and not much traffic inside the resort going past. Easy communication with the host, and even the pull out couch in the lounge was comfortable to sleep on. Make sure you check out Maui bakery down the road, super delicious German goodies....

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at Karen’s one bedroom condo in Kai Nani complex. It was well stocked, clean, quite, breezy, private, with lots of useful extras. Communication with Karen was prompt and helpful. It is a great location within walking distance to restaurants and beach and price was reasonable (on a VERY expensive island) for the comfort and space we got. It was an ideal base for our excursions.

First let me say that communicating with the condo owner, Karen, was a dream. I think I may have found my organizational soul mate in her. The information Karen provided about the suite and condo complex was wonderfully detailed. When she was going to be out of touch for a day Karen sent me an email with a back up emergency contact just in case I needed anything while she was away. What? Thank you!!! We needed nothing. The condo was so perfect. Location - within walking distance of some great local restaurants and shops. AND, directly across the street from Kam II. The sunsets... amazing! Fred's... loved it! Amenities - kitchen was completely stocked with everything you'd need to provide some wonderful in house meals for yourself or others. On the lanai there are chairs for the beach, snorkel sets, sand shoes, a drying rack, pool noodle, boogie board, & umbrella. Nice big beach towels in the closet, plus a couple different sizes of coolers. The list goes on. Beds were comfortable. I slept on both the pullout and queen sized bed in the bedroom. Lots of pillows and bedding provided. Bathroom was nice and big, and the open tiled shower was so refreshing after a hot day in the sun. A/C is available but we rarely used it as the overhead fans and many windows provided enough flow through breeze to keep us cool enough. The view from the lanai is not an ocean one, but I still enjoyed it immensely. I sat out there every chance I had listening to the birds and having an occasional visit from a gecko. The lawns are well maintained and the flowering trees are beautiful, as well as a nice view of the pool. Pool is great. Lots of chairs. Friendly front desk. We used the laundry a couple times and it was quick and easy. Literally zero complaints. We can't wait to return. Thank you Karen - your condo is lovely.
