No towels, No cutleries, no soaps in the bathrooms, shortage of plates cups the kitchen itself
We lived like prisoners, arrived on the 18/12/19 the so called manager mr. Mwanza was away we waited outside with the kids for about an hour before he could come. He had his own care takers who minds the place while he’s gone out, these care taker couldn’t help us as they didn’t know where abouts the keys are.
The owner of the lodge resides in sweden, comes yearly. The day he arrived, all the care takers of Mr. Mwanza the manager disappeared.
There was only mr mwanza left, he is terrible ( very bad with kids! He could call my kids all sorts of names like stupid, idiots etc, even though they have they said the lodge is family oriented, hence they named him mr. Idiot since that was his language .There owner of the lodge mr Mukasa Collins is such a very rude and awful person without business language or skills. He accused us of stealing knives, forks and spoons. And changed us huge amounts of money. We paid thousands of dollars to start at his lodge for a good one month and yet when we approached him regarding those accusations and other issues we were facing at the lodge like no water to bath, no towels in the bathrooms, Power, no water in the toilets and bed changing ect. His response On the phone would be the money they paid from vrbo was just for one day and if you want I can refund it back. How would we know the fees and all the agrees between him and the agents and which agent would let you pay for one day when you spending 6 good weeks in the lodge? The guy is so uncoordinated, not cooperative and no customer skills at all. He lived somewhere and could barely visit the lodge and when there’s no power when could stay without food for the kids, uncharged phones, laps not changed and wearing un ironed clothes all times, mr mwanza the manager could only state there’s no money to buy fuel for the generator....... Makasa the owner hasn’t yet come.
- there are no irons in the rooms we only had to ask mr mwanza to get it from his room- not sure if it was his own personal one.
-The towels only one per room when we were two and more in one room, if you ask they stated the previous workers stole them.
- there is no gateman, security man on the gate
- turn up late from where having funny- mr mwanza will lock up out and live a written note to contact his number, you will be calling him and he doesn’t pick up fasten asleep by the time he realise you knocking on the gate, you have been there over 30mins. Don’t risk it, honeybed is not place to lodge!
