Would never book here again
Overall an unpleasant experience. The house wasn't too clean and We had a break in. The maintenance guy petty much called me a liar when we reported it. We had a sheriff come by and we filed a police report. And the next day wile checking out we found a note in a drawer that said B**** someones in the house (a caword). Scared the hell out of the girls. Our first family vacation so theirs that. The location was nice though.

The hideaway Cabin
We arrived late at night and it was dark. The roads are not lit so made look spooky at night when you first arrive to the unfamiliar. However once you get familiar with the surroundings is very nice. The property is nestled nicely in natural surrounding beauty. Make sure you walk all around the property and you can get some amazing pictures. It's an ok good place stay if your looking for the simplest of cabin to rent. We spent most of out time on hike trails and outdoors in the patio and location was just fine with us. Not far from anything you want to do in the neck of the woods.
Pro's:
Its big property that can accommodate big families and groups. 4 Has only 3 private rooms and it can be 4 private rooms if you use the entry living room as a 4th room. All but 1 bedroom has access to go outside with out using the main entrance. Has 2 full bathrooms. Very quite location and its very close to Oakhurst town which is huge plus. Also located close to the casino. The cabin heats up nicely and also cools easily. Beds aint to bad and everyone seem to be ok with them. Kevin the property manager was very easy to deal with and was available to answer all questions or concerns if any. Over all we had a good experience here and we would return. We sure hope the owners invest a bit and give there place a bit of an upgrade it has huge potential.
Con's
Needs to be updated in some areas. No luxuries in here but also not needed. 1 TV only and lighting aint so great. No outdoor patio lights what so ever. Not sure why maybe not allowed. Kitchen offers mostly what you need to cook. Bring your own wash towels and extra blankets and towels if you are a bif group.

Nice setting, lots of space, pretty basic
Great setting and location near oakhurst - decent drive to Yosemite - park was closed to overnight stays. Due to COVID we really cleaned upon arrival and surfaces showed a good cleaning had not been done in a while. Basics were there, microwave, toaster, blender and coffee maker. But simple things like trash bags and toilet paper were not provided. The heat worked well and water was hot - pressure was low - but adequate. Great neighborhood - quiet.

Terrible Experience
As soon as we got to the house we noticed it was different from the pictures listed. There were only 2 bedrooms, tv was broken and no cable or wifi. The bedsheets were very dirty and there were hairs on the bathroom walls and kitchen. No pots or pans were provided. The couches and beds were not comfortable at all. The lights kept going out on us. Some light switches were broken or didn’t work. The owner didn’t rent us the house showed in the pictures, it was very different. The map showed the house was in Oakhurst Ca but the owner gave us different directions to a house in Northfork Ca. Our Christmas was ruined. Overall it was a very bad experience. We did not even stay for the two nights we rented. This house should not even be put up to rent.

Terrible Experience
one good thing was that we were able to check in early
bad things are:
1. cockroaches
2. living room not vaccum
3. kitchen not clean - stove were dirty, not enough pots and pans for cooking
4. spider webs all over the house
5. house was just dirty
6. restrooms only had half toilet paper
7. no trash bags
8. not enough towels for 15 people - i think there were only 4 towels.
9. no info on wifi
10. no instructions anywhere
11. no cleaning supplies
12. overall this was just a bad experience and would not recommend anyone to rent this unless they do a renovation first.

Rent at your own risk
The owner changed the location on me last minute after the cancellation date 4 days before my trip, and moved us to an old cabin a couple steps away from another house he rented out; which was uncalled for. None of doors upstairs have knobs so there was NO privacy. One of the bathroom doors didn’t close and the toilet required 2 flushes. The stair railing was protruding out into the living room which was a safety hazard for our children. The sink took awhile to drain and the water faucet smells like sulfur. There were no batteries in any of the remotes. The place was too small to accommodate 14 people. The house looked like it was still being renovated. There were also no drawers for our belongings. This owner has a couple of properties. Rent at your own risk. I won’t make this mistake again.

Beds were not clean, good property manager
The beds (especially the pull-out beds) were not clean. Dead mites were found in multiple beds and one person reported finding a dirty condom in theirs. Nothing felt clean. This aspect made it a very uncomfortable stay. The location it said it was on the map at the time of booking, was off by 11 minutes to the actual location. Property manager Kevin was very good though and allowed me and my group to spend the second night at a different, better place, four minutes away, at no extra cost. Do not at all recommend this particular location though.
