Loved the location. The condo was nice. The shower in master bath has mold, the condo smelled musky and the bedding in single beds was uncomfortable. The master bed was very nice. Love Blowing Rock and would definitely stay at Chetola Resort again.

Lovely condo. Owner was quick to respond to questions. It had everything we needed. Master bed super comfy. Guest bedroom beds were hard but not the end of the world. There is not comfortable seating outside which we would have loved to have taken advantage of as a group. They have a lovely little patio but the set up isn’t conducive or comfortable—we had friends over and there just was no way to enjoy visiting while enjoying the cool outdoors. The only reason I give this unit a 4 is because of the incredibly strong smell of fireplace smoke. If you are sensitive to that this is not the unit for you. My grown daughter has a terminal illness involving the lungs and we found this almost unbearable. It was exasperated by the fact the ashes bin is left at the front door so you are hit with the smell immediately. They have thoughtfully put an air filtering machine in the living room but the filter was blinking red so it was not working. Again may not be an issue for most but if you have allergies asthma etc know it is very strong. Otherwise a lovely experience.

Just perfect!
We were three sisters celebrating very significant birthdays and wanted a very special place to stay for 3 nights in Blowing Rock. We knew Chetola well and this condo was just what we had hoped for. It is so lovely and comfortable and everything provided! No worries about covid here. Chetola is so beautiful and restful ! The host answered all of my questions quickly and we felt welcomed from the start. And the location to downtown Blowing Rock as well as Bass Lake and the Cone walking trails convenient. The men in the “guard house” are so helpful also. We would return to this home in a heartbeat! ❤️

Quiet relaxing condo
This condo was very nicely appointed with a shaded lanai for us to enjoy and wonderful bedding to assure great sleep! The unit was very central to the lodge and restaurant. the area in general is very hilly, but because this unit is so close to the facilities, it was great for us older folks!!

Tasteful and Comfortable Condo in Chetola
We had a wonderful experience at this townhouse unit in Chetola. It is tastefully decorated in an eclectic mountain vibe, and is clean and organized. Every amenity we needed was there, including a full kitchen and a washer and dryer, which was perfect for our family of five. We are familiar with the area, having vacationed in Blowing Rock before, but never stayed in Chetola. It was a very nice resort with additional amenities we enjoyed, such as the indoor pool, fitness center, and walking trails. It is also centrally located to the downtown area of Blowing Rock and to other attractions in the area which we enjoy.

Beautiful location and property
Very clean and well decorated. Easy access to all the amenities that Chetola has to offer. The condo is on top of a hill , so if guests are older may be a more difficult walk to the lake . We enjoyed the ability to walk out and fish or paddle board and only a mile walk to downtown.

Blowing Rock Weekend
This unit was nice. It had most everything we needed for the weekend. It was a bit of a trek to downtown Blowing Rock, but on a nice day would make for good walk. The location was quiet and the resort property is large. Easy access by car to many local attractions.
