Our family of ten (six adults and four children) recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Ricordi, and we couldn't be more satisfied with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The house itself was incredibly comfortable and spacious, perfectly accommodating our large group. Each room was nicely furnished, with attention to detail that made our stay both luxurious and cozy.
The children spent countless hours splashing around in the pool, while the adults enjoyed lounging by the water, soaking up the Tuscan sun. A wonderful spot for family bonding and relaxation.
The air conditioning was superb, which was much appreciated during the hotter days. It ensured that we all slept comfortably and stayed cool, making our stay even more enjoyable.
In terms of location, Villa Ricordi is perfectly situated. A short drive brought us to the well-stocked supermarket Essalunga, making grocery runs quick and convenient. The villa also served as an excellent base for day trips, allowing us to explore the beautiful surrounding areas without any hassle. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Daniela at Luccaapartments and Villas for her assistance throughout our stay. A special thank you to Grazia, the owner, for providing such a wonderful home for our family vacation. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a family-friendly retreat in Tuscany.
Some of the outdoor lounge furniture needs to be upgraded which also was confirmed by the owner and that replacements already had been ordered.

The property was absolutely beautiful! Wish we had more time to enjoy it. Great location for alot of major tourist spots. Restaurants, grocery store, bakeries and wineries close by. We will highly recommend this property and hope to stay here again in the future! ❤️

Our stay at the Villa Ricordi was simply beautiful. The house is exceptional and it has everything you could possibly wish for. The pictures of the property that are online, although magnificent, can not show or describe the amount of love that has been put into this house. As a family, we appreciate the Italian way of life and this few days allowed us to taste the dolce vita that we were longing for.
I also wish to thank the friendly owners for their hospitality and I hope that we will have the pleasure of staying in Villa Ricordi again.
Grazie mille per tutto!
We are aware that the plumbing in an older bigger house could be tricky but most of the time the water pressure in the bathrooms on the second floor was insufficient and it was not possible to take a shower, especially with both showers running at the same time. But, we used other bathrooms so we managed )
It could be a problem if all the rooms were occupied.

We had an incredible stay at the villa. The host was super on top of it whenever we had questions, we felt like they were fully available for us and that is very valuable. The house is really massive, much bigger than we expected! Almost every room has a welcome area and even a doorbell to ring. We recommend you follow the house-guide for restaurants and tips, they really suggest the best of ideas. We were a group of 8 people and it was perfect for us.

The Villa is lovely, quite roomy and comfortable both indoors and out.
We certainly enjoyed our stay.
The town of Marlia was fine for food and our other daily needs. There were also some sites to explore on foot in the area.
Choosing a car service for our tours, we found that it was quite easy to see towns in Tuscany.
The only thing that I would recommend is that a clothes dryer would be convenient for cloudy and rainy days.
The property manager responded promptly to answer any questions and solve any issues that arose.
We would recommend Villa Ricordi for any stay in the Lucca area.

Perfect four a group of 8 adults. Comfortable, spacious and I loved the aesthetics. The owners of the home were lovely. There is an incredible bakery right next door and a fantastic gelato shop nearby. We had a wonderful stay. Would recommend renting cars. We hired a private chef and had them come to the house. I loved the Butterfly restaurant and the grocery store nearby. The only downside was the washing machine was small and outside and we weren’t given extra towels. We did not reach out to Lucca Villas about this because we were so busy with our itinerary. We stayed for 10 nights and I wish we would have added on the cleaning service prior to getting there. We never got around to doing that because we were so busy and then had to do the cleaning ourselves - and this was only a challenge because of the washing machine situation. There is also a complex trash/recycle/waste system and we had to go out and buy special bags for this.

This was hands down one of, if not my best, Airbnb experience. Sidrak and the property manager, Mariapia, went above and beyond to make our Christmas stay incredible and memorable! First, the space is amazing - spacious and beautiful. The bedrooms are suites, each with a private sitting room. The grounds are beautiful and the outside dining room offers a unique experience, with a firepit to keep warm. What made our experience over the top was Sidrak and Maria's hospitality and customer service. They coordinated a welcome dinner with a local Chef and assisted in finding the best wine tasting location open near the holidays. We spent Christmas at the home, so they even left us a Christmas tree to decorate and dropped off additional firewood for the pizza oven and fireplaces on Christmas eve. We will be back!

We had an amazing week at the villa with a group of nine friends! The property is beautiful - the house is spacious and has many options for places to hang out, the separate second kitchen and dining room are lovely, and the pool is wonderful on hot summer days. The location is also close to wineries, local shops, and downtown Lucca, with Florence and Cinque Terre as easy day trips.

This accommodation is fantastic. Plenty of space and has all the facilities you could wish for. The check in was great with help from an English speaking agent. The villa was immaculate. The area is lovely with shop opposite and supermarket and pharmacy a short drive away. We cooked at the villa as the restaurants seemed just a little too far to walk to, especially with no pavements present and small children (our family party couldn't all fit in one rental car). The pool was clean and great size. Would definitely stay here again.

I have just returned from a wonderful visit to Villa Ricordi. The villa is absolutely stunning, all of the bedrooms are a very good size, most having their own living area and bathroom which came in handy with 9 of us staying there. My own bedroom even had a separate nursery area for my little girl which she loved and was a pleasant surprise as I thought she may have to share with myself and husband. The villa has everything you need to enjoy your stay. My family really enjoyed the pizza oven and outdoor area. The pool area has plenty of sun loungers. The location of the villa is about 15 minute car journey from Lucca, we didn’t have a car but took the bus which is just around the corner. We did walk into Lucca one day but wouldn’t recommend as there isn’t a pavement for a lot of it and takes 1 hour 45 min, the bus is much easier. Outside of the villa is a small shop which was really handy and a bakery for lovely pastries, a larger supermarket is walking distance. Marlia has a few lovely restaurants and a gelateries as well. We would love to return here again in the future.

Thank you so much for having my family and I to stay for the week. We had the best holiday. The house and swimming pool were in a gorgeous setting, had all the amenities we needed and it was conveniently located. We didn’t hire a car but this wasn’t a problem as we got the local bus to Lucca for the day and we walked to all the nearby restaurants. We had some lovely meals in Pizzeria Da Sancio, Ristorante Il Matto (where we went back twice) and La Bottega Sulla Fraga Osteria. There was also a little shop opposite the house for fruit, vegetables, snacks, drinks and even ice lollies and creams for the children. And a bakery and butcher in walking distance. We also visited Villa Reale which we walked to from the house.

Villa Ricordi is very beautyful from the outside as well as the stylish furniture inside the house. We were 9 persons and everybody was happy with their big room. There were 3 double bed rooms with an own bathroom and 1 double bed room that shares the bathroom with the two bed room. Nearly each bedroom has his own living room with a sofa you can sleep on and there is one baby bed, too. The pool was clean and you have a nice view to all the vineyards near the house. The garden shed is beautyful and very great to sit in, when it's getting windycolder in the evening. The hosts are very kind and the organizational was so easy! We loved to stay in Villa Ricordi and our expectations were exceeded! So I would highly recommend and want to say a big thank you to the hosts again.

Beautifully renovated old villa, with a lot of thought invested in the decor. Very nice pool, outhouse and grounds. Very nice and helpful owners.
The windows facing the road were only single pane glass which made those rooms affected a little noisy when cars passed by.

The Owners are so nice and caring a lot. The villa was huge and incredible. Perfect for bigger groups.
Nothing, everything was better than we thought.

This house is AMAZING. I cannot rave enough. Beautifully renovated inside and out.
We have had the most amazing week at Villa Ricordi. Such a stunning house which has been beautifully renovated and is equipped with everything you need. The pool and garden are gorgeous and the glass dining room that is separate to the house is an amazing space for lovely evening meals. It was also great that we were super close to a supermarket. Marlia is a great location for day trips to Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Cinque Terra and Tirrenia to name a few. Highly recommend staying here. 5+ stars from us. (And if you are looking for a place to dine at while you are in the area then check out Serendepico which is about a 10 min drive away. Delicious for dinner. )
