About this villa rental
Casa Fandango (CB3) is one of 5 units located inside the Casa Blanca Association. This quiet, secure home is only a short walk from Playas Tamarindo and Langosta. 1800 square feet of space includes 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, and a well appointed kitchen with gas stove. The charming decor features rustic spanish colonial furniture, Costa Rican artifacts, and original artwork.
Casa Fandango is the is the ideal location for the Tamarindo area, just across the street from a tree lined beach access walkway that can be a haven for Howler monkeys.
The Tamarindo Bay is one of the best in the Guanacaste area, safe for even the youngest swimmers and great for surfing at high tide. Shade trees are abundant and our end of the beach is quiet - tranquil! Take your pick for a short walk to happening Tamarindo for restaurants and shopping, or to Langosta for nature.
Our pool is deep, (8 ft), and therefore cooler water awaits you at all ties to bring relaxation and respite after a long walk on the beach or sunbathing. Note, our pool is shared with the other 4 units in our association, but the pool is centered in front of Fandango and the majority of the time is very quiet.
Enjoy hanging out with a cocktail at the pool cabana, or barbecuing dinner on the grill.

The setting and house is very Costa Rican. My wife’s mother is from here and we felt we were in a home she lived in many years ago.

We loved this quiet Villa located just down the street from the busy part of Tamarindo. It was about a 10 min walk to the downtown area however as my Mother who is almost 80 years old was with us we rented a golf cart for the week. We loved having the beach across the road for early morning walks and to watch the gorgeous sunsets. The pool on site was refreshing and the pool side deck was nice for relaxing and meeting other Villa guests. Our host was super friendly and helpful on the few occasions we had to reach out to them for assistance. They always got right back to us and provided excellent recommendations for tours and for the golf cart rental. The Villa itself was so beautiful and had everything we needed to cook in if we chose to or for relaxing at night. The teens had their own loft bedroom which they liked and my Mother loved having her own tv in her room when she wanted some alone time. We would definitely stay here again.

This amazing villa is in the perfect location just a short walk to beach and town but far enough away to be quiet and serene. Villa was just the right size for hubby and me (fantastic master bedroom) and our two grown sons and their partners. Great for cooking and lounging. Pool was great. We would absolutely come again.

Our family of 4 - myself, a husband native to CR, and two children 12 & 10 - and our friends and another family of 4 - with 12-year old twins - stayed at Casa Fandango for New Years 2023-2024. The location is lovely, right across the road from the beach, close to Tamarindo center but not too close and near the lovely neighboring Playa Langosta. We used the shared pool daily, cooked and grilled some of our own meals, and rented two 4-person golf carts to get around. Two fit in the designated parking space just fine, just be sure to get a longer extension cord from your cart company to reach the outlet by the a/c unit if you have an electric (we might recommend gas for this reason). (Although carts probably aren't totally necessary, depending where you want to go!) Check-in was easy and Scott was friendly and accommodating, as were our neighbors in the other houses on the property. Also great were the 2.5 baths in the house ensuring each family had one pretty much to themselves and the kids their own half in the loft area. We are always so appreciative of our time in Costa Rica, it is a special place. Thank you for having us.

We visited Casa Fandango for a week long stay over Christmas with our family (two couples and four children ages 8-16). We fell in love with the home right away, it’s nestled into an oasis which is quiet, private and beautifully landscaped. The pool was delightful. Everyone we met at the complex was friendly and kind. We all felt safe and welcome!
The home has beautiful architecture and is cozy but room for 8+. It had everything we needed and some things we didn’t know we would need! The hosts were easily reachable if we had questions and very responsive.
Tamerindo is just a short 5 minute walk, there are also frequently power scooters available to rent to zoom around (the kids loved those!). The beach is a less than 2 minute walk and stunning with surfing, boogie boarding and more. There’s a fabulous restaurant/bakery/coffee shop right next door if you don’t like venturing far.
Overall, the location is ideal! So quiet you can hear the monkeys as they move through the trees and the birds chirping. We absolutely will be visiting Casa Fandango again! The kids area already asking to go next year. Highly recommend!

We loved this house! Spacious, beautiful, and quiet. It’s on the quieter end of town, which we really appreciate. Our family of 4 spent a month here working remotely, and the wifi was flawless. The kids loved the pool. The property host was helpful and communicative. Can’t wait to go back!

We’ve stayed in casa Blanca for two years now but casa fandango has fit our needs the best. There is plenty of room and amenities for our size group. There was construction noise from next door but it was tolerable and we’re excited about it potentially being a restaurant. The owner was very responsive and on top of all things during our stay, We will be back for sure!

This property was fantastic! Very clean, well maintained, and close to everything you’ll need during your tropical vacation. It is within a short walking distance to restaurants beach, beach club, shopping, and food truck park.
The villa is very spacious and a great multi-level layout for families. The kitchen is well equipped and there are plenty of towels for pool or beach. The shared pool was great and relaxing - it was a nice way to wind down after a long day of touring and exploring. The full size washer-dryer was a great feature for family of four.
Scott, the host, was always super responsive to any questions we had and provided lots of recommendations and resources for our stay. We highlt recommend this property and host!!

The property was perfect for two families with teens. Kitchen had everything we needed, and bed configuration was perfect for our group. The location was just a few blocks away from the busy town which made our end of the beach less crowded. We could walk right across the street to beach access. We spent a lot of evenings at the small pool. Beach chairs and boogie boards would have been a nice benefit. Would recommend for groups of our size.

Scott is super responsive and an incredibly helpful host - and quickly extended our stay when our flights home were delayed. The home was perfect for our stay. The shared pool is pristine and the villa was comfortably cooled. It's conveniently located across the street from the beach and within walking distance from all the best amenities: beach clubs, grocery stores, restaurants and bars. Our adult group had no problem without a car or golf carts walking into town, but I would recommend renting a cart if you have a group with children or older folks. Would stay here again!

I’ve been to Costa Rica a few times and was bringing young adults and wanted them to be able to do things on their own. There was 6 of us and the house was perfect for us. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, bars, stores and nightlife.. The house had a shared pool for us, who just wanted to hang out and relax. The house itself was lovely and relaxing. A few times we just stayed in to cook our own food, which was nice. We BBQ our own steak dinners and was a nice touch to eat outside.

Best home in Tamarindo
Simply put…Outstanding. The owner is supremely responsive and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is great. The set up is very convenient to the beach and the shops but tucked back from the hustle and bustle. The lot has 4 homes as part of a complex complete with large pool. Everything is beautifully landscaped and the touches are very authentically Tico. They’ve also done some great modernization with solid WiFi, tankless water heaters (hot water never ran out) and streaming services on all the TVs. Look no further, this is your spot.

Nice house, very comfortable for our needs
We enjoyed our stay at Casa Fandango. Property manager was extremely responsive to questions and helpful throughout. Proximity to a nice quiet part of the beach was great. Having a pool was excellent. A couple of small glitches were dealt with quickly. House is a little further from town than is really comfortable for daily walking if you decide to stay without a car. It doesn't seem that far but the lack of sidewalks makes it challenging, especially when walking at night and with kids. Internet was spotty with 4 simultaneous users but clearly we should have spent less time online during our vacation! Overall, a pleasant stay.

A great space in a great location
Fandango is a lovely property that has a real charm. You can tell the property is actively used by the owner as it has a real homely feel about it and is well equipped. Everything works and the property is clean, tidy, has a good amount of space and plenty of bathrooms.
One thing to be aware of: the top room (the large one with three beds), is effectively a gallery room so can't be closed off from the rest of the property by a door. The room is great and really big - but note that the people staying up there really need to be the last to bed and first up as they will hear everything going on downstairs.

Great Villa on the beach.
Great villa across the street from beach access. Very clean and all the amenities needed for my trip with family. The shared pool was perfect for staying cool and even though it was shared we didn’t have any issues with noise or cleanliness. Would stay here again.

Excellent location and privacy
This cute place was perfect for our family get together. We were close to the beach, restaurants and shops! We also bought groceries at a local supermarket and enjoyed staying for a few nights. The pool and patio were great hangouts for the teens while our baby grandson slept. The pool is shared with two other villas. Security was great. We felt very safe the entire time of our vacation. Masks are required at most public places.

Fandango retreat
Fandango was well-stocked and an inviting atmosphere after two days travel from the hot and humid southern jungle. Scott was responsive with small issues with the place and apologetic for timing of fixes due to the holiday season.
Would highly recommend this place - location fantastic from town and beach, pool a wonderful retreat, beds all comfortable enough.

Enjoyed our time in Tama
We enjoyed the casa very much, especially the easy access to the beach. My favorite part was the morning walk to coffee - check out breakfast at Tico's. The pool was fantastic and clean. Enjoyed a daily visit from a lizzard. :)

Great place and great location
The house was perfect and in such a good location. We were able to walk to dinner in town, we were step lay away from the beach and it was a very quiet area. We loved it. The house has everything you need and the communication with the owner was immediate and very helpful no matter our questions. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic property
Casa Fandango is wonderful! The owner is extremely responsive and helpful beyond expectations. The location is perfect with a pathway to the beach across the street. We didn’t want to rent a car and didn’t need to.
We were 2 families of 4 staying together and there was plenty of room. The one bummer is that the bedrooms aren’t equal so we took turns having the main bedroom which is an awesome space. The second bedroom is much smaller and doesn’t have space to put things away. I would also be remiss if I didn’t mention that the bed in that room is uncomfortable and could use a new mattress.
We would definitely recommend anyone to stay there and would come back in a heartbeat.

Better than the Pictures!
We were extremely happy with this beautiful casa! Usually the online pictures exaggerate, but it was actually way better! It was perfect for our family; everyone had their own space. The house had everything we needed and more! The pool outside the front door was awesome. Each bedroom has it's own TV, and we enjoyed Netflix, and a wide variety of channels. It was so comfy and perfect, we didn't want to go home!

Amazing!
This was our second stay at Casa Fandango and it was as incredible as the first, the beach is an easy one minute walk and a beautiful section of the beach!
We had to contact Scott about a minor mechanical issue and he got back to us in minutes and followed through to make sure it was taken care of immediately!
Fully recommend the villa and location to anyone who wants a quieter visit to Tamarindo with a five minute beach walk to the nightlife!

The Perfect Place!!
Casa Fandango was absolutely wonderful. It was clean, comfortable, and in a great location! Within walking distance of all the fun in Tamarindo but far enough away to be quiet and a very easy walk across the street to the beach. The house and grounds around this villa are impeccable and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I do wish that there would have been a few things stocked for the beach (beach chairs, boogie boards, ice chest would have been very useful) but you can rent boogie boards in town and we got creative with the ice chest. RPM (property managers) was fantastic and great about setting up any tours or needs you might have. This is a great property for families. We cannot wait to return.

Paradise
Everything was great. Location was perfect, close to everything but far enough away from town and still be able to walk there. House has everything you could need minus beach chairs. It would have been nice to have since the beach is not the white sugar sand but basically the bottom of the ocean when tide goes out, so not comfortable to hang out at all day. We tried to find chairs but they wanted $45 dollars each and they were small. To expensive to leave behind and to rent they want 50 dollars a day. We will definitely be going back and would stay in same location again. Thanks for a great week

Wonderful property!
Our family enjoyed the spacious and clean home. The large loft was great for 3 of my children, each in their own bed. And my teenaged daughter enjoyed having her own room downstairs. We also really appreciated having a washer/dryer in the house, as well as a half bath upstairs. The kitchen stuff needs to be assessed, as there are lots of plates (24), and pieces of Tupperware that don't go together. Also, the binders and online info need to be updated and synced up. The house is Casa Blanca in some places, and Fandango in others. There are 2 binders of info, that is dated. Really small things. Overall, the house, area, and pool was great. Also, just right across the street is the path to the beach. We took surf lessons, had drinks, and food at Langosta Beach Club several days. So fun!!

Casa Blanca #3
I don't know where to start! We had such a wonderful time in Tamarindo, I will definitely return, and even rent the villa again. It was perfect for 3 couples. The funny thing is that our first night there, about an hour into arriving at the villa, the power went out. At first we thought it was just our villa, but to find out, the whole town was without power. Thank goodness we were very close to town, so we found a restaurant that was open, using it's grill. Everything else was pitch black.
But all in all, we had a wonderful experience, met new people.
You have to visit El Chiringuito, it's a wonderful restaurant on the beach with fresh food everyday, the owner Frankie, and his wife Kerri, are wonderful! Kerri even owns the beach store next to the restaurant, Fish girl. The store, surf shop, has the most beautiful swimsuits, gifts and more.
We enjoyed ourselves tremendously!

Wonderful
This is our second time staying at Casablanca, our first in Casa Fandango. The home was perfect for us. Loved the layout and the wonderful outdoor space. We felt safe and secure with the security guard and gates. We were there with another family who stayed in one of the other units - the kids loved running back and forth between the houses and playing in the pool. We will absolutely stay here again. The only thing I would have liked is a washer/dryer in the house. I believe there is one outside by the pool, but something in the home would be preferred. The management company was responsive and very helpful.

Beautiful and comfortable house with easy beach access. Wonderful!
We stayed at Casa Blanca #3 from July 22-29, 2017. The house was perfect for our group of 7 with plenty of room for all. The upstairs loft was large with separate beds for each of our 3 teenage boys and included an attached half-bath and balcony overlooking the pool. The two bedrooms with two full baths on the first floor were comfortable. Flat-screen TVs were provided in each of the bedrooms as well as the main living area. The large circular table in the main room fit all of us for card games and sharing photos in the evenings. The kitchen was well-equipped with large refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. Overall, the house was comfortable and we felt right at home as soon as we walked through the door. The pool was directly in front of our house and we enjoyed coming back from a long day of exploring to relax in the pool before dinner. Although the pool was shared between the houses in the complex (I think there were 5 total?), we mainly had the pool to ourselves in the evenings. The grounds were beautiful and well kept and we enjoyed watching the birds and butterflies in the day and the bats at night. We were not bothered by mosquitos in the evenings. The house is located in a gated complex with a guard on duty 24/7. The guards were extremely pleasant and happily opened the gate for us throughout the day and into the early hours of the morning. We rented golf carts and were allowed to park the carts within the gate at night. We felt quite secure but we did lock our valuables (passports, cash, etc) in the safe provided in the master bedroom just to be sure. Maid service was provided twice during our visit, however, we only used it once on day 2 of our visit, as the second time the maid came to clean was the day before we were leaving. Maid service was not necessary as new bath towels were not provided so we washed our own towels and ended up folding many dryer loads of someone else's towels (the maid's??) in the process. Access to Tamarindo Beach was directly across the street from the house, and additional beaches (our favorite was Langosta for surfing) were within walking distance but we we preferred to use the golf carts for convenience. A supermarket was close by as well as excellent restaurants and shopping. A troop of howler monkeys, males and females with babies on their backs, frequented the forested lot beside the property allowing us many photo opportunities. I highly recommend this property!

Wonderful House Close to the Beach
We loved the Casa! It was perfect for our family of seven. The loft worked great for the three kids with each getting their own bed. An unexpected plus were the smartTVs, which we watched a couple movies on during a storm. The casa was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The pool was great as well. The beach access is right across the street and the surf was perfect for beginners (board rental $10 a day). Perfect!
Management was easy to deal with and forward leaning.
You can't beat the combination of location and price. I highly recommend it and hope to return in the future.
