Great spot, great location
Great spot. Friends and I enjoyed the location. Were able to ski all day and watch football during the evening. Beautiful area.

Loved this property!
Everything was perfect- couldn’t be happier with the house. Gorgeous interior, plenty of space, stocked with necessities. Walked past two homes next door to ski, so it was super easy. Some of the street snow was melted or else could ski to back door, which was super important to me but I found the skiing access to be a non-issue. Once on the mountain, we could easily ski over to Big Sky and beyond. It is all very close and accessible through green, blue or black runs, however I preferred this side to some of the crowds at Big sky base.

Great home & location. Management was lacking.
We had a group of 10 (4 adults, 6 kids) that enjoyed this mountain home for 5 nights in mid-January. We've stayed in this area of Moonlight Basin 4 years in a row and this home felt larger/more spacious than the others that had a similar layout. We found it had all of the things we needed to cook our meals at home and we enjoyed the beautiful views and relatively easy access to the Iron Horse ski lift.
The unfortunate part of the trip was the poor service & communication from the management company. It took 2 days for them to come clean out the garage (it was caked with mud/dirt when we arrived making it tough to use for getting ready to ski). We also had issues with them draining our hot tub on the last day instead of shocking/treating it as we requested. This left the hot tub unavailable the last night since the heater takes a VERY long time to heat the water on this particular unit. The communication from the company was not good in these cases and they have failed to respond to two emails since requesting some form of consideration for our issues.
Net-net...great home and good location. Service was unfortunately not what we had been accustomed to and we will reconsider renting from this management company in the future.

Beautiful Big Sky Home
We loved our stay! The house was clean and spacious with lots of natural light. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We loved cooking on the BBQ and sitting in the hot tub taking in the wonderful views. The house is a short walk to the Moonlight Lodge and we loved being able to be temporary members and use the facilities. We would definitely stay here on our next trip to Big Sky!

Perfect home - Perfect location
Great house. Very clean, organized and comfortable. We had 9 people in our group and there was room for all. Kitchen is clean and well equipt. Living room is very comfortable and great for socializing. Hot tub is immaculate. Perfect location for ski in/ski out. We had absolutely everything we needed. The only downside is the loft area is open to the living room so the people sleeping in the loft are easily woken up in the AM by early risers.

We really enjoyed our family stay! Family of 5 had ample room to unwind/relax. Good location, good amenities, and when we had an small problem, the response/attention was very timely both initially and on follow-up. Access to Ulery's Lake (via property's club membership) was nice, for the kids. Proximity to Beehive Basis trailhead also nice too; very short drive....And easy to run into base-lodge to get provisions or go mountain biking also excellent. Looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful property with ski in/ski out excess
This home was perfect for two families. So well designed, large living area accommodating the kitchen for lots of family bonding. We used the hot tub every night after skiing. The views are beautiful and it truly is a ski in/ski out location. The management company was more than accommodating, super friendly and full of great recommendations. Our spring break was one of our favorite ski trips ever and even our four teenage kids agreed – that says a lot !

Fabulous!
First of all, the view....is so amazing! This is the fourth year we have stayed at one of Kirsten's propertys- but the first year at this spot. The place is beautiful and the ski in/ski out is wonderful. We loved being walking distance to the Moonlight lodge. The rooms are spacious and have all amenities needed. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat in every night- the wine fridge was a bonus! The only downsides were that there is no garage and mudroom which we really liked in our previous houses. As always, Kirsten and her team were incredibly accomodating to anything we needed and they responded within minutes anytime we called them. We highly recommend this place!

This place is great if you want to shred the gnar.
This is the second year we are stayed at this property. It continues to be amazing. My family and friends had an incredible time. From the moment we walked through the door, we felt like we were home. All the bedrooms were perfect; spacious and everything was where it belonged. The bedroom on the main floor is a dream, with a huge bathroom and deep tub with jets. But does one need them with the Jacuzzi on the deck. We had six in the Jacuzzi and were comfortable. At times we had seven people, and that wasn’t too bad either. There’s also a grill outside on the deck with plenty of fuel. There is a garage full of wood with everything you need to get the fire started. The kitchen was very nice, with everything you may need. The refrigerator for the wine was perfect. It kept all the white wine and beer cold while leaving a lot of room in the regular refrigerator. The loft got a face lift when they added a new king-size sofa sleeper, and it comfortable. Normally the frame pokes you through the thin mattress, but not this one. It was very comfortable. The people who manage the property are very nice, and went out of their way to be sure we had everything we needed. They meet you are the home when you arrive and explain everything you need to know. If there are any questions during the week, they are easy to contact and very responsive. There was the appropriate amount of communication to keep us completely informed and they shared many details of the area, including where to shop for food, rent equipment, eat and drink. But we dined-in most evenings, cooking some great meals in the kitchen. The value or being able to ski in and out cannot be overly stressed. We saved so much time in the mornings and almost always caught the last lift up so we could enjoy the end of the day high in the mountains and be at our back door whenever we wanted. We enjoyed the Riverhouse Grill. It is completely local and they raffle off a real sweet rifle once a month. All the extra money goes to various local charities.

Great house in great location
This was our 2nd time coming to Big Sky and we loved staying in the house. It was roomy, comfortable and in a great location. Easy access to the slopes. The property manager met us at the house the first day and went over everything. She was very helpful and gave great restaurant recommendations. Would definitely stay here again

Beautiful, charming, well-stocked chalet with 5star service.
I can't recommend Moonlight Basin enough, and this house is perfection. It's luxuriously appointed throughout. Lovely great room with a fireplace and garage stocked with wood; cozy beds with really nice linens, nice bathrooms and towels.
The skiing setup is perfect. There is a garage to hold skis, an entry way absolutely stocked with hooks and stools to hold all the gear for a large skiing party, and a very short walk to the slopes (100 paces maybe?).
I don't really have any criticisms, apart from the fact that maybe the kitchen is perhaps not on par with the rest of the house - I would have expected something maybe slightly bigger/grander. But it's a really nice kitchen.

My husband and I stayed at the property while looking at homes in Big Sky. My husband talked to Kirsten several times before we arrived and she was more than willing to answer any questions and provided so much valuable information about the area. Kirsten's attention to detail in all catergories far out did any of the other properties we looked and trust me we looked at a lot! We hope to be a Big Sky home owner and would definitely use Kirsten's services!
