The house and location were awesome. There was also absolutely nothing we needed that wasn't there from cheese grader to washcloths. will definitely be back!

This home is in a great location and amazing views. This is the second time we have stayed here and it was just as great as the first. They were quick to respond to any questions or issues we had while there, even over the holiday. My only suggestion is Make sure you get a car with 4 Wheel drive for the driveway. The views are amazing.

We loved staying at your Big Sky rental property. Everything went very smooth and was a relaxing week away from home. This place has one of the best views of the tallest mountain in Montana, would 100% stay with you again.

Pleasant Stay
Enjoyed our stay here. No issues with the home and very good proximity to the mountain (2-3 min walk to lift) and easy check in process / check out process.

Yellowstone / Big Sky Vacation
What a beautiful part of the country. The weather was unusually warm but nights were cool. We had a nightly visit from the neighborhood fox. It even peaked into window off deck. We had a party of 13 and house was plenty big enough for everyone. Ages ranged from 4 months to 64. Kitchen was well equipped as was the welcoming package of paper towels, etc. The management company responded in a timely manner and took care of issues promptly. The grandkids enjoyed the hot tub and sitting on beck looking for wildlife. Mule deer were also around everyday. Would love to return. Maybe in the winter to see all the snow…….

Great place, great location
Fun place to stay. There were a few things like soap being empty and and a grease spot on the deck that someone stepped in, but pretty minor. Overall a cool place to stay. If you’re a snowboarder you’re going to want to keep speed up on the way back. We had the most luck with getting to the top of the white otter lift and following it back. You will have to go over a road and may have to skate a bit, but it wasn’t bad. Everyone had a good time and said they’d rent it again.

Accommodated all our needs
The place was clean and spacious, it accommodated all our needs. The hot tub was new and very nice.

Massive disappointment !
This property was marketed/priced as a luxury cabin but turned out to be a very basic log cabin in an excellent location. The photos gave quite a misleading impression that this was a high quality cabin and gave no warning of how poor some essential features really were. The bathrooms were tiny, poorly appointed and much worse quality than those in a two star airport hotel. Beds/bedding were very low quality. Bathrooms still had urine stains on the floor ! Driveway was very steep and almost impossible to drive out of in snow. No salt or grit available to get rid of icy surface. Wi-Fi service was absolutely appalling. Probably the worst private rental we have ever stayed in. Contacting the Property managers for assistance proved to be almost impossible. Such a waste of our money !

Amazing lodge with great ski access
In short, I would gladly stay at this property again.
This lodge had everything my group needed for a great ski vacation. We were a five-minute walk to the nearest ski lift, and the lift ticket and rental equipment delivery services allowed us to skip the lines.
When you're not on the mountain, the lodge has a fantastic fireplace, living room, and hot tub. Additionally, the check-in and check-out process was incredibly easy and user-friendly.
Finally, the rental agency that manages this property contacted me about four hours before this advertised check-in time to let us know that the property cleaning was complete and ready for check-in. This small detail is indicative of a company that will take the extra step to ensure its residents have the best possible stay.

Perfect cabin
This cabin off the edge of White Otter couldn’t have been better. We had 2 families and there was more than enough room. We were able to walk to end of culd-a-sac and put our skis on and get right on the lift. Very clean, plenary of kitchen supplies to cook every night. Just an over all great experience.

Beautiful place!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean, with lots of room. Fireplace worked great, and we spent lots of time on the deck enjoying the view. Hot tub was terrific after a couple long hikes. There is so much to do at Big Sky in the summer - now we need to get back in the winter!

Big Sky ski weekend
Nice large house, perfect for three families to share and still have privacy. Just a short drive to the base. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful property, excellent location!
This property is so beautiful and the location was great. A short walk to the white otter lift, had to walk back at times because of the trails. We had powder the entire time and couldn’t ask for better conditions. Would have given 5 stars, but the beds were a little uncomfortable. The driveway is very steep and I would suggest 4 whee drive. Since there was so much snow the week we stayed we found ourselves shoveling just to get out of the driveway. Thanks again for the great stay! We would stay there again.

Awesome home with an awesome location!
We stayed at this home for 3 nights and it was absolutely perfect! Luckily for us it snowed the whole time we were visiting. Having the ability to walk about 100 yards down the toad to the nearest lift was great. We will definitely come back!

Great value! Great location!
This house was great for a large group - lots of space, big hot tub, a 3min walk or quick ski down the hill to White Otter chair lift, and beautiful views! Big Sky Vacation Rentals was accommodating and super friendly. The house itself is older and a little outdated but it didn’t stop us from enjoying a fantastic week at Big Sky. Wood burning fireplace was also a nice touch! 5 stars for a great deal and location, 4 stars for comfort and lack of upgrades in the house (eg you can tell there are water leaks and oven doesn’t cook evenly or to temperature). Would recommend to a large group or two families looking for a ski getaway that doesn’t break the bank! We will be back!

Perfect Home away from Home
Wow! What a great place to stay!! The cabin was very clean and felt like home. Nothing so perfect you felt like you couldn't use it but very nice. My family stayed there for 9 days and 8 nights. We had a blast! You are just about one hour from Yellowstone Park, very easy drive. The two small towns nearby made for easy shopping and dining out. I would tell him to stop by a larger grocery store on your way to the cabin though, just to get the things you truly want.
The deck out back of the cabin was perfect to sit and enjoy nature as its best. Every night a small herd of deer would be grazing by the cabin. We also had a fox drop by one night, a wolf followed the deer up the hill one evening and a moose come by around 6 am. The fox and the wolf were within 20 yards of the cabin and the moose was grazing about 25 feet from the back deck and was easier watched from the dining area window. The deer seemed to be use to people and would slow move from the lower part of the canyon to the top of the hill were the cabin sits. You could watch them for hours.
The cabin itself is very clean and could easily sleep 13 people, the bathrooms are nice and clean, and well stocked. The kitchen as everything you will need to cook. It was just about like being in your own home but with the most amazing view of the ski slopes and the forest.
I must warn you about the drive up to the cabin after you leave the highway from Bozeman, watch the road because between 6:30am and 11:00am you are most likely going to cross a herd of long horn mountain sheep. I counted about 5 rams and 2 ewes, they graze along the road and traffic will not spook them. Just slow down.
We spent two days fly fishing with “ Wild Trout Outfitters” takes about 20 mins to drive to their shop from the cabin and they treated us like kings. Call and ask for JD, he will take care of your fishing trip. The guide named “Sam” took us on the great fishing trip. My son(16y/o) who had never fly fished before was a pro in just two days. He caught more fish than me and his Grandfather. I want to say, 22 trout in two days. It was amazing to watch him have so much fun.
We also spent a day with “Montana Whitewater” it takes about 35 mins to drive to their location. We had an wonderful time rafting and zip lining with them. Plus they have a great little food truck on location. Amazing people, you will love every exciting minute of the fun.
I am looking forward to my next trip there!

The house was nice. Needs a little better cleaning.
We stayed here in July. The house itself was exactly what we wanted. It was spacious for our group of 12. The kids had plenty of room to play. The hot tub was very clean and hot when we arrived. We were greeted promptly by a Big Sky member upon arrival and they went over everything we needed to know about the house and the amenities. The views are spectacular. We even had deer out our door a few evenings. The only bad thing I can say about our stay is the cleanliness of the house. We paid a cleaning fee of $450. The cleaners go “around” all of the furniture. If you look under any of the furniture, it is pretty dirty. Plus, they want you to do a load of towels for them before you leave. I feel that for a cleaning fee of $450, the place should be spotless. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it to others.

Great Experience
Great house in a great location that perfectly accommodated 9 guys on our annual ski trip. Big Sky Vacation Rentals was very pleasant to work with and their assistance in delivering our lift tickets and shipped skis to the house was a major convenience that helped us save time and allowed us to maximize our time on the mountain from day one. Very knowledgeable and gave great suggestions of which areas of Big Sky to take advantage of.

Montana Cabin
The views, the house, the snow....Big Sky is simply amazing and a must visit. This cabin had every amenity that we needed during our stay and our group of 11 fit very comfortably.

The cabin was nice but what really made it great was the scenery and seeing deer and even a fox.
The cabin was surrounded by big pines and wild flowers. It was just like roughing it but we had the cabin. Lots of wild life

Great property! Very spacious!
Our stay in this cabin was wonderful. All 4 of our families fit very well in this spacious cabin. The upper game room and large deck were utilized often. We saw 2-3 deer outside almost every morning. The property management company was also very helpful. We'd definitely stay here again.

Great for a large group!
We had three families together. There was plenty of room to spread out or spend time together. Property was clean and properly stocked for what we needed. We saw moose right near the cabin. Plenty of activities/attractions near by and not a bad drive to Yellowstone national park. Whitewater rafting was the group favorite. Also enjoyed horseback riding and trout fishing, all nearby. Call ahead to restraunts to make sure they are open or still serving food. Summer is apparently the slow time and it was hit or miss to find somewhere open. Management service did a good job prior to check in to make sure we had the information we needed.
