My sister and I planned this vacation spot with our adult children for a mini family reunion and it did not disappoint. Lots of gathering space, sleep accommodations, bathrooms and most important the location was perfect! Lots of things to do all within walking distance, on top of a short drive to all the additional activities in the area (zoo, sea world, old town, etc).
Overall great stay and very responsive owners.

As previoiusly mentioned in other reviews, the house is far from clean. Three broken fans (I fixed one). Very tired and dirty outside cushions. Rotten wood on the outside that needs replaced. Three walkway lamps broken and laying on the ground. The patio was covered in sand, no attempt to make it presentable (leaf blower, sweeping). Rooftop patio is lovely, but tired and dirty. Big bird poop on outside of windows (really unattractive).

Near bay and ocean. Nice facilities. Loved our time .

Stayed for 6 nights at this house. Pictures are accurate but house was dusty and needed repairs. It fit the family and had ample space for everyone to sleep, but we all woke up sneezing every morning. We decided to leave a day early due to the dust. If this home was updated and deep cleaned we would consider staying again. The property owners were very responsive.

Nice place was able to fit the entire family.

The property was great as far as location and overall layout. My daughter and her family stayed on the first floor. My husband, my other daughter and I stayed on the second floor. We all had plenty of space. The yard was great and the rooftop deck views were amazing. But is was not clean and maintenance was pretty bad. If this place was cleaned up and repaired, I would reserve it every year. The owner did text me when we were there 24 hours to see if I needed anything. But I did not reply. I did not want people in the unit all week fixing twenty things. ( or not and the owner being unhappy with me). I am not a clean freak, but the beautiful view windows were dirty inside and out. Upholstery was dirty, the front door and porch light covered with old dirty cobwebs. Maintenance including numerous lights that did not work, broken electrical outlet, front door and railing desperate for paint, missing screens and old noisy portable fans. Tears in the outdoor furniture cushions, the bedspread and bedskirt...I could go on and on. This place could be amazing, very disappointing.

This house was perfect for our 10 person family. So many areas to gather together and plenty of bedrooms. The location was perfect! A beautiful walk by the ocean to the boardwalk less than a mile away or a short walk down the path to a more secluded beach, perfect for our young grandchildren. We were here during a heatwave, the house did not have air conditioning but they provide an abundance of fans and that really helped. I understand most places on the beach don’t have air conditioning since the weather is usually very moderate. I would definitely stay here again.

This house was clean and in a great location. Super close to the beach. It was a bit awkward having the house split up into two suites but it worked out. The owners were great and very quick to respond to any questions.

Great location! Had everything we needed. Hosts were very helpful when we reached out with a question. Would definitely stay again.

Great home and location. The home sits on the last stretch of the cove which makes it great for a private getaway. We really enjoyed the volleyball courts right outside the home. You can walk to the roller-coaster and boardwalk which makes commuting easy. The home owners were easy to work with and followed up throughout my stay. Check out this location!

This house was the perfect meeting spot for my southern California family to meet for Christmas. There were plenty of beds for everyone and the location is wonderful! If you are renting both the bottom and top levels, there is only an outdoor staircase that connect the two, but it's a minor inconvenience. We'll definitely consider this house for family get togethers in the future.
2.5
Highly Recommended!!!! Great location and owners are very accommodating!
2.5
The house was perfect. Very clean and very well stocked. Plenty of pots, pans, dishes and towels for our large family. The bay was a short walk away and the ocean wasn't far at all. The house is huge and has plenty of beds for a large family. The parking was great, no problem with our large SUV at all. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a great place to stay at the beach in San Diego.
2.5
I rented this home for a vacation with 10 other friends. It is in a great location which is close to the beach and had plenty of things to do within walking distance. The home had tons to sleep and had all of the comforts of home. I would highly recommend this home to anybody looking for a relaxing vacation in San Diego.
