Clean condo in a quiet location. Well maintained, but not fancy. Plenty of space. The only issue is the downstairs bedroom smells of must. Could not sleep in it. Loft is cozy and comfortable, but the bathroom is unfinished. Attentive owner. Overall, worth the price it's listed at. Very satisfied.

Couple minute walk to the top of learning section at bretton woods. Lots of storage space for ski/ board stuff in house entryway. Lots of hooks.
Garbage and recycling disposal is a bit annoying ( you have to drive it down to this place near the lodge).
Lots of stairs (4 levels to house) and loft area is not secure for small children.
Small kitchen but open concept with dining room and living room was nice. Plus large area in dining room for storing non perishable food, etc.
Only 7/8 promised chairs were present at the table.
Beds are so-so. Loft twin beds could definitely use an update. Basement bunk bed ( twin plus full) was pretty nice but the ladder seemed a bit unstable and that room has no door, fyi. Basement queen was very firm but comfy. That room is the biggest with the most storage space and extra floor space. Upstairs ( but down 1 from loft) there are 2 very small rooms with Queen beds, although 1 might only be a full.
Basement bathroom ceiling looks like it has some old water damage and under the sink is falling apart. It also has a shower with tub. (Laundry is also downstairs, small washer and dryer.) There is a second bathroom and shower with tub on the floor with the two small rooms. There is also an unfinished room with a toilet on the loft level.
No T-Mobile cell service at the house. Good WiFi. Easy parking and keypad access to house.

We had a great time coming back to this rental. The owners are so generous and quick to communicate. It has just the right amount of space for our family and our friends family to sleep and hang out, plus the ski-in ski-out location can’t be beat at this mountain!

8 of us (3 different families) stayed for 3 nights and were really impressed by this ski house. So much storage for your ski gear, plenty of storage, and coat/ski helmet hooks all over the house! There’s a giant counter next to the 8 person dining room table that you can use as an open pantry for all of the food you end up bringing! Overall great place that we’d stay in again!

Basic accommodations in Great ski-in/ski-out location
Pros: This property is in an excellent location at Bretton Woods. The entrance to the learning center trail is just down a set of stairs and across a parking lot. It worked really well with my kids! The owner, Tom, was extremely nice and responsive. When we had an issue with the garbage disposal, he responded within minutes and helped us get it resolved. There is also a great hallway right inside the entrance to put all of the ski equipment.
Con: The place is rather tired and basic.
It could definitely use some love and updating. The kitchen is very small but serviceable. The stairs to the loft are rather treacherous.
Summary: If you aren’t fussy and just looking for a basic slope side place to crash, this is your place! The place had everything we needed and was a perfect location.

Ski weekend
The condo, slope side to Bretton Woods, is in a great location to the mountain and Mt. Washington Hotel. There is not much else in Carroll NH, no delivery food options, so come prepared to cook. The owner was very easy to work with and extremely helpful and available to answer questions during our stay. The condo is very outdated. It is spacious and had plenty of space for the 3 families to say at this condo but the kitchen is very small and the condo itself is outdated and needs repairs to things like the bathrooms. Overall we appreciated the condo, the price, and location.

Great condo on the slopes! 4 floors with 3 sleeping levels so was great with the kiddos! Views are stunning from every floor.
Had a great time and the kids were sad to leave. Thanks again Tom!!

Great Location, clean and comfortable
We loved staying on the mountainside, beautiful views, easy access to skiing. We had everything we needed and loved the cozy flannel sheets. Great hospitality and easy communication with the owners. We had noticed that the pictures on VRBO did not show the kitchen and realized why....tiny and pretty inconvenient. All appliances worked and we were able to serve breakfast and lunch fairly well since the adjacent dining room is generous in size. The living room was comfortable with good TV reception for the Patriots playoff game and views of the mouontains during the day. Overall wonderful experience!

We were very happy with our stay here. Four of us rented this condo to do some hiking in the White Mountains. The location is fantastic, it is only a few miles from a Mt. Washington trailhead and Crawford Notch trailheads. There were four nice bedrooms, two upstairs and two downstairs with a full bathroom on each floor and the kitchen, dining and living rooms on the middle floor. There is also a loft with two more beds and a toilet. The beds were comfortable and everyone slept well. There is an outside large balcony with a babbling brook and a view of Mt. Washington. The condo does show some wear but that does not interfere with the stay, everything is clean and everything works. If someone is planning on cooking large banquets they may be disappointed with the kitchen, it is rather small but would not bother anyone who is up there to ski or hike. Tom was very helpful and answered all the questions I had about the surrounding area and the amenities there. Unfortunately the restaurant right across the road has closed and Bethlehem has limited places to eat so it is about a 20-30 minute drive to Littleton which has a large selection of restaurants. Rek-Lis brewing is in town and I would recommend reservations if possible, it was always very busy and could not seat us on a Monday night. (We ate at the Little Grill at the Depot in Littleton and we all enjoyed our food. Good beer selection too.) Overall the condo was a very nice place to stay and if we hike the same area next year I would look to rent this place first before looking anywhere else. If you plan on skiing Bretton Woods you are right there.

Lots of space! We had a great visit and enjoyed being able to have the kiddos downstairs while the adults enjoyed upstairs. Relaxing to listen to the stream as well :)

Rosebrook 25 Review August 2021
Spacious, comfortable property that easily accommodated our group! Very close to Bretton Woods Hotel and Cog Railway. (In fact, there is a spectacular view of Mt. Washington and the Bretton Woods Hotel from the window of the third floor loft!) We also discovered some great swimming areas in the stream alongside the road that leads up to the Cog Railway base station. Very close to Bethlehem/Littleton area and about a 40-45 minute drive to Jackson/Glen area in the opposite direction where we took in Storyland. About an hour to North Conway.

Great Ski In/Ski Out Property
Nothing better than staying right on the mountain! We walked out the front door, up a short incline and skied down to the base. Plenty of space in the condo to spread out. The owner was very accommodating and very responsive.

Ski trip with friends
We had 3 adults, 3 teens and 2 tweens with us on this trip - and we had a blast! The kids loved having their own space - as did the adults - and despite the deep freeze that weekend, the conditions were great. This is a true ski in/ski out condo - you can ski almost to the door. Doesn't get much better than that!

Great Property and Awesome Owner
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Tom's place. The location is phenomenal and we were able to ski on and ski off within a few steps. Tom was incredibly gracious, flexible and excellent communicator. We will certainly try to stay here again.

Great slope-side condo
The condo was exactly how it looked in the pictures. The condo came stocked with everything that we needed for our trip. The furniture and beds were comfortable and clean. The location was amazing!!! Unfortunately the main trail wasn’t open that would have made the condo truly ski in ski out but it was very short walk to the mountain via the bunny hill. We left our skis and snowboards at the opening of the trail and just walked right up for breaks throughout the day! It was super convenient to be able to right back to the condo! We will definitely stay here again!

Great Spot
Although this property needs some updating, you can’t beat the location. There was a view of Mt. Washington and a small stream for the kids to climb around our back. There was tons of space for sleeping and the loft was particularly special, with the view and a bathroom. We had a big group of all ages, three generations of hikers and we were close to everything we needed. Tom was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

the property was a little bit more run down than I thought it would be but that did not away from the great time that we had, the bedrooms were great, the location was perfect. the host was most accomodating.

Great stay!
While this wasn't the most updated property we've stayed in at Bretton, the location could not be better and Tom is actively working to upgrade / update the property! Communication with Tom was great and we enjoyed our stay! Would stay again!

A fantastic location on Bretton Woods
We spent Sunday through Friday morning in this townhome unit. The location is fantastic for a week of skiing. There are shortcuts through the woods up onto the trails, or a short walk down to an established entrance above the learning hill. Communication with the owner was great and timely. A new electronic lock that allows him to vary the entance code worked great for us. Having stayed at BW before, the garbage and recycling routine was familiar and not a burden. The two four star ratings above are easily corrected. The online listing shows a checkout time of 11; we were asked to be out by 10 to allow time for cleaning for the next rental group. No big deal (We got early access on check-in day which we appreciated.). There were cleanliness issues which are easily corrected by working with the cleaners. The stove, microwave, and toaster ovens all needed attention before we could use them. There is a couch in the lower level that needs to be deep cleaned or removed, as we suspected mold. There are a couple of areas in the unit that are works-in-progress, the third level bath, the lower level front bedroom. But none of this detracts from the warm, inviting unit in a great location to take full advantage of the ski mountain in winter. We had a wonderful week, and look forward to returning and seeing how the unit improves over time.

Great place to stay to ski
This is a great location/space for 1-2 families to stay while at Bretton Woods. Easy access to the mountain (although the blue trail to ski home on can get very icy at times, but you do have the ability to take the learning quad lift up and then walk up a little to a skiers entrance at a parking area and then up to the condo)

Great and Affordable Location right on the Slopes.
We really enjoyed our stay. 5 min. walk to the green slopes and the learning center. 1 min. walk to the blue slopes. Loved that. Not a Posh cabin but very comfortable and great layout. Kitchen right in the middle and accessable for all. Owners awesome people. Furniture and decorations a little dated and Cabin was a little Musty but very clean and comfortable.. Pictures very accurate. Great spot for people with kids and looking to get out on the mountain and ski or hike. Incredible views. And good wifi. Everything worked great. Tom left us some Complimentary beer in the fridge and hot chocolate and coffee for the Kuerig. We loved our time here. Kids loved it also. Great spot.

Right on the slopes!
We just stayed over New Years weekend, 5 nights. My husband and I took the downstairs bedroom, and our kids (4 and almost 2) slept across the hall from us-4 year old on the top bunk and 2 year old in a pack n play. This was great because when they woke up in the morning, they didn't wake anyone else but us and had a couch and room to play in. Bathroom and laundry also on this level. Main level is above us with a tiny kitchen, big dining room/living room so plenty of common space. My mother is law and her husband, and our aunt and uncle stayed in the 2 queen rooms on the upper level. They shared a bathroom (leaky faucet), and had a great time. My mother came one night for my daughters birthday and stayed in the waaayyyy up level (2 twin beds) but not so safe stairs to get up there. Probably okay for older kids and younger adults, but NOT good for seniors or young children. But this is minor as we fit 3 families comfortably without using that room. We skied 3 days straight- right out the door and down to the main quad, then could ski home extremely easily. With little kids, ski on ski off is so convenient. We took our almost 2 year old each morning and when she was done (falling asleep on the snow or became a noodle) we just brought her back to the condo with no issues. One time my husband even took her up the beginner quad then hiked her back to condo and re-joined us in no time. You don't need to pack anything-they have all the pots/pans/dishes/silverware... even condiments, etc. We brought stuff like dryer sheets and detergent, salad dressings, paper towels, tissues, and keurig cups, and just left the extras for the next renters. This unit has a direct view of Mount Washington, and on the 2 clear days we had, was quite the site. Tom and Vicki were super helpful and I would recommend staying here. Thank you!!!

The property was well kept, clean and convenient.
The condo was clean and perfect for 2 families to stay in for a ski weekend. The owner was responsive and very helpful with information regarding the property. Over all we enjoyed the stay at Bretton Woods very much.

Great fall weekend!
We stayed at the condo for a couple of days in October 2018. The condo was perfect for our group of 6 adults - it can easily fit a couple more if necessary. Right from our booking until after check-out the host (Tom) was easily available via phone (text) and email. We were planning to hike Mt. Washington and Tom had all kinds of information available for us. (By the way, if you plan to hike Mt. Washington or go up on the cog railway, this location couldn't be more perfect).
The condo itself is very cozy and nice. It has 3 bedrooms for couples, plus at least 4 more beds for in open but private rooms. The dining area is sufficiently large and so is the living room. The only downside is the small kitchen.... but that wasn't a big deal for us at all.
We would gladly come back and stay here again.

Perfect!
Just got back from a 3 night stay with my family of 6 (that includes an age range of 10-73!) and we could not have been happier with our accommodations! First off, the owner is so helpful and thoughtful. Secondly, the condo itself is well-appointed and very comfortable - we had plenty of room to spread out; the dining area and living room were spacious and inviting; the bedrooms, perfect. All that, plus the convenience of ski-in, ski-out. For the price, I don't think you can beat it! We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Wonderful
This was our first time using this website and booking a condo. Our experience was ideal from beginning to end. The condo looked exactly like the pics and the views of Mt. Washington were amazing. Our favorite part was sitting out on the deck and listening to the nearby stream. In addition, the owner, Tom was so kind. Tom is prompt with answering phone calls and email messages. Furthermore, Tom and his wife left us a very nice handwritten note, thanking us for staying at their condo. I cannot wait until my next vacation so we can visit again!! Highly, highly recommended!

Perfect! Homey, comfortable, ideal location!
The owner is an absolute delight and incredibly communicative! The condo is comfortable and provides all the amenities a family would need --bunk beds, keurig, games and DVDs, deck vie of a babbling brook and mountain fog, gorgeous! We loved using the pool pass and enjoying and exploring the hotel! Gorgeous and made wonderful memories!
