The host was so friendly and approachable, such a lovely retreat for quiet and calm. Was able to just relax and read my book listening to the river and the birds. Very central to restaurants and pubs. Quirky little hideaway. Will defo be back

Great location in town, easy to walk everywhere, lovely view over garden towards Fairy Glen and mountains. Apartment is part of owner’s house with secure private parking. Plenty of outdoor seating. Comfortable bed, quiet room. Owner, Eddie, was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about area and interesting history of house.
Note that there are 3 steps up to entrance and the shower is over a bath with high edge to climb over.
Outdoor space could be tidier; if you have allergies there are pets around though they’re very friendly.

The heating was not working then we arrived. It only started to work at early hour in a morning. We were suggested to use fan heater on arrival to heat the room untill the room heats up... No heating in a bathroom of any sort. The separate entrance is not an actual full length hight, no way to let the fresh air into the room unless open an entrance "door". Five starts as it is a separate space. Would not have booked if knowing no central heating in minus temperatures.

Beautiful setting with door onto decking, above a well kept garden that ended onto a lovely little stream. Modern bathroom and had a lovely relaxing bath which ease my aching pregnant bones! Friendly and communicative hosts
Bedroom decor is a little dated but in keeping with the outside of the property

I absolutely loved our stay here. The host Eddie was so welcoming and friendly. Check in was easy and the place was just magical. A hidden gem and located central to local pubs, eateries and Killbroney. The room was clean, warm and included a small kitchen that had everything you need. The host had extra little treats for us that was a lovely touch. The outside area with the scenery was beautiful. We slept so well as it was peaceful and quiet. I would recommend this stay and I will be definitely be a regular. I'm so glad to have come across this room and look forward to returning again in the near future.
That I had to leave and return to the real world! There was nothing I didn't like.

Brilliant location, lovely wee house and garden. Friendly dog named Willow. Went for a walk to Fairy Glen, ended up hiking to Cloughmore. Thirsty work but Rostrevor has great bars and restaurants thankfully.

Lovely quiet and peaceful. clean, cute little zone for tea-making, microwave and basket of cookies and sweeties too. Just minutes walk to restaurants. gorgeous big garden, decking and garden furniture outside. i will return here again and again. owner is a true gentleman
I honestly wish one could control the temperature. its centrally controlled from the main house and I had to ask the owner to turn the temp down several times- which he did and v graciously too and I felt guilty for bothering him but it was far too warm of an evening and at night but apart from that, it was perfect

Property was self-catering, but was well equipped to be able to make a range of stuff for breakfast. There is a toaster, kettle and microwave in the cupboard kitchenette. Also included was crockery, along with a sink.
The location of the property was fabulous and so central. The main house that contained the room at the back was a beautiful property to be part of.

Comfortable room with well equipped kitchenette and beautiful large bathroom. French doors onto deck overlooking secluded garden and stream. Gated off street parking. Short walk to everything Rostrevor had to offer.
Maybe the addition of a soft seat.
