About this house rental
We fell in love with this lot because it has year-round deep water, but it's at the end of a cove where you can swim all day and not worry about boats going by. We designed the house around the dream of a great family and friends getaway.
There are 5 bedrooms that have king-sized beds, 4 of which have private bathrooms. There are 2 bunk rooms, one with 8 twin beds and one with 2 queens and 2 twins. There is one more bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed. 6 of the bedrooms have amazing views of the lake.
The large kitchen should easily meet your needs with two refrigerators, two dishwashers, a double oven, and a microwave. There are two living spaces with fireplaces and another space for ping pong with bar seating and a wet bar. There is also a theater room.
There is a screened-in porch off the main floor, a private deck off the master, and a large patio with additional decking off the ground floor. The deck off the kitchen has a gas grill.
The two-story dock has a jumping platform, pergola, swim deck, and hammock over the water.

This house is the perfect getaway for friends & family. The layout is perfect for multiple families. There is plenty of space to spread out, relax, play games, or enjoy your favorite movie in the media room. The property is right on the water.
Only recommendation would be is for wine glasses in the kitchen and railings for the stairs to the lake.
We look forward to visiting again soon!

We loved our stay! We are a group of young business professionals who were on a work retreat and this was the perfect location! The house was incredible. There were so many things to do in our free time and it was great for team building! We hope to use it again!

This beautiful lake house has incredible accommodations. Lots of lovely spacious bedrooms with premium private bathrooms. Our children, young adult couples with little ones, like to have their own space and this house provided that in spades! Beds were all comfortable. The dock, tucked away in a small quite cove, was an awesome place to hang out during the day. The hot tub and fire pit also provided awesome evening activities. Cleanliness was a bit lacking for my high standards but that's understandable. My husband spent two hours cleaning the grill before we felt good about cooking on it...maybe because it had not been used in a while...also understandable. The trek from the house to the dock is very steep but so worth it! Owner was quickly receptive to all communications. Overall the house is probably the best we've ever rented for our annual extended family lake trip. I feel certain we will be back next year.

This property is perfect for our family. Everyone has a bed and enough bedrooms to accommodate families with younger children. This is the second year we have utilized the property and encourage others to stay.

Our family of 20+ rented this cabin for the 2nd year in a row. It’s very spacious and comfortable! There are plenty of beds and room for everyone to spread out but also large enough that we can all be in the living area together. It’s beautiful in the fall. The real winner is the pickle ball court! We’ve started a family pick ball tournament that is the highlight of the trip.

Great time, hard to find a place to put us all up. Was more than enough, the hike to the water was brutal but we just stayed for the day at the dock and take everything you need!

The property was perfect for our family gathering of 24! We loved the clear water of the lake, and the fantastic swimming area. The theater room was a hit, and we had plenty of fantastic home cooked meals. This is a great vacation home!

We absolutely love this home and we have spent our family vacation here for the past three years. It has all the amenities that we need for our large family. There’s room for the kids to play and still have quiet time too. The water is beautiful and the location on a cove is perfect for all of us to swim without fear of boat traffic. This is a perfect place for large families to gather.

We were at the lake every day! We had a great time, plenty of rooms/beds for everyone, kitchen was great for family meals, porches were nice for warming up and playing card games. Angie was quick to respond to questions! We loved it!

The kids loved the basketball court (so fun!), foosball table, kayak, and SUP. It was an all- around great trip and we hope to come back again!

What a wonderful home for a large group. We celebrated my mother’s 90th birthday along with a family reunion. The accommodations were perfect and the lake was beautiful. The kids (and some adults) loved jumping off the deck into the lake and using the kayak and paddle board. The whole weekend was spectacular!!!!!

The directions were fantastic It was easy to get in touch with Angie The checking was great But The home was not clean There was Sunflower seeds under the bedsheet Cigarette butts in-and-out of the house Toilet seat was broken Railings coming loose going upstairs Somebody's house shoes Setting at the edge of the bed Children toys laying around Down Stairs bathroom sink was not clean And a used Wash cloth hanging on the downstairs shower head Televisions did not work someone took the Card from the dish receiver So none of the televisions would not work Didn't even get a chance to watch the football game But overall the host did try to do her best to make everything OK She even offered to make them come back and reclean the house....

The house was perfect for our family gathering for Thanksgiving. The only problem was had trouble locating house with Google Maps from south. Had to go to Wedowee and use host's instructions.

My immediate family has over 20 people in it that range in age from infant to mid 70s. This is the 7th year we have had a fall family weekend and this is our favorite house we’ve rented by far. We stayed here in November so we didn’t utilize the water amenities.
But Everyone loved the house.
It is 3 stories with a 4th floor bedroom and bath. The bunk room was so great for the kids and the basement was a great hang out spot for the younger folks.
The living room had a nice large sectional and the screened in porch was a nice extra. The basement porch offers two twin swing beds and they were a hit!
There is no yard space you can play in but the basketball / pickle ball court was awesome. We played basketball and pickel ball and the kids rode scooters and bicycles.
This didn’t matter to us but if you are considering the property during the summer, the path to and from the dock is extremely steep. The walk back up to the house was challenging even for the most fit of our group! It would not be accessible for any who have mobility issues.

Gorgeous property! The house is beautiful, huge but cozy. It’s a great family house with so many places to spread out.
Beautiful view and quiet,perfect cove to swim. We loved the southern part of the lake with the rope swing and sandbar. The theatre room was a big hit! Ages 11-81 all loved their stay here. We all had so much fun! We would give it 5+ stars! Highly recommend.

Amazing location - gorgeous home!
We were very pleased with this home. We had plenty of space for the 15 of us to stretch out. and the queen and king sized beds were all very comfortable! The family particularly enjoyed the two level dock which was well equipped with several fun loving amenities - they especially enjoyed jumping into the water from the top deck. We will definitely come back. and next time our plans are to bring a boat and some type of ATV because some of our older family could not navigate the steep hill down to the dock. The home was very well stocked but could use a few more cookie sheet type pans. Would love to have stronger wifi but I do understand it may be difficult in that area. Loved all the seating in the family room. Also it was very quiet for a large home. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch on the main level and loved the swinging beds on the lower level.

Family Vacation
This was our second year to stay in this house. It is perfect for our large family. The amenities are top notch! The water location is awesome a protected cove. We had a great time playing in the water all day. Even when it rained one of the days, the house is large enough for the kids to play in a different room than the adults. Fun was had by all. They’re already talking about coming back here next year. For a large family, this is the place to be.

Beautiful lake home for a family to come together to enjoy the lake and make lots of memories.
Plenty of space for everyone. Large kitchen open to the family room. Most of us spent our days down at the dock, just hanging out, swimming, laying out or using the hammock chairs, others hung out in the theater room. We all loved the screened in porch for the evenings. Playing games around the large kitchen table was a favorite every night, while others played ping pong or foos ball or maybe watched a movie. This is an amazing family oriented house and I would definitely stay here again with my family.

A few small issues but overall an amazing experience
Overall the property was absolutely amazing. We had just a few issues. We couldn't get the hot tub to warm up when we arrived, the owner sent instructions but it took 3 days for it to get up to temperature. Also the oven just went completely out on our last day. There was also no propane to use the grill, we had to go out and purchase our own propane refill. Other than these small problems our stay was amazing. The owner responded quickly before&during our entire stay. Everyone loved it!

Beautiful Home in Secluded Area
The home is beautiful! It is a very secluded and private area on the lake, which makes for a peaceful trip. I stayed here for a women's retreat with 24 other women and there was plenty of space for all of us. Home was clean and had all that you could need available to you. Would definitely come again.

Gorgeous Home and Perfect for Family Memory-Making Trip
What a perfect vacation home for a large family or even several families to gather! The accommodations are outstanding and every bedroom and bathroom beautifully decorated. The dock area is spectacular and we greatly appreciated having access to the kayak and paddle boards. Our adult family members all play ping pong as well as pickle ball and those were HUGE benefits, especially on the cooler days when we weren't able to get into the water. We also enjoyed cooking s'mores at the fire pit and had several nights of family game nights and there was plenty of space to accommodate our large family. We all had a fabulous time at your beautiful vacation home and are already talking about when we can come back again.

Best home rental!
I’ve stayed in several rental homes, and this has to be the absolute best. The home was fantastic, even better than advertised. We had a large family get together with people of all ages, and we had everything we needed. The stairs to the lake are taxing, but well worth it for the amazing dock. Water was clean for a lake too. Overall, A+! Would definitely stay here again!

The home was perfect for our group. We loved being right on the lake. We definately got our steps in walking back and forth to the lake. The owner was always available and got right back with when there was an issue...if you are looking for a place to wind down and relax this is the place for you. The only thing this place is missing would be to add a TV or 2

Annual Reunion
Large enough for everyone to have their space. Plenty of bathrooms. Lots of indoor and outdoor activities. We rented two 2 seat kayaks to go with the single seat provided. Paddle board and 12 foot diving platform a big success. Great place to visit and the business folks in Wedowee are wonderful. Highly recommend!

Family vacation
We enjoyed 4 nights at this lake house with our family- 20 people ages 10-70. The owner was wonderful at communicating with me in advance and during our stay. Beautiful property. It is quite a steep hike down to the dock and especially challenging coming back up! We rented a pontoon boat from The Bass Monkey and spent 3 full days of boating/tubing on this beautiful

Amazing experience!
House, area, EVERYTHING was beautiful. This is the perfect house for a large gathering, with plenty of space for everyone. My only complaint was having the Jetski and Boat teasing us down on the dock. Ha! Mrs. Angie did a wonderful job communicating all that we needed for our stay. We’ll be back!

Dreamy lake house with incredible amenities
We had an incredible time here for our annual college reunion. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We loved the gorgeous sunsets, quiet lake cove for hanging, swimming, kayaking, spacious interior with beautiful decor, the luxurious bedrooms and helpful accommodations for little ones. Angie was so timely and responsive and a great host, and we can’t wait to visit this dreamy lake property again soon!!!
