A lovely weekend away, close to all amenities in the most gorgeous cosy setting

it was our first time staying in a concerted church into an airbnb, it was absolutely beautifully restored & decorated inside & provided the essential luxuries with an ensuite & kitchenette.

I loved the worldly charm and cosy ambience & attention to detail with quality touches & more

The styling and build of the property was amazing. Such a beautiful accommodation

Everything was amazing! Perhaps having an extra towel or two is helpful for hair drying etc. I know there’s a hair dryer but a towel dry is helpful too

Overall A lovely stay in a beautiful town Bakery opposite was fabulous

Very comfy bed too many pillows on bed Where do you put them all Could be more shelves/drawers for our clothes

More of a selection would be nice for breakfast. Muffin /bread for toasting Cereals were very low and containers need freshening up inbetween refills A banana or orange would be lovely too. Freezer was completely iced up 🥶Considering the price I don’t think this would be asking too much. Lovely grounds and the host was lovely

A very enjoyable weekend in a lovely town in the Southern Highlands!

Lovely renovation of an old church property - done with style and class and beautifully presented. Our host Josette was most welcoming and very knowledgeable about the local area and local attractions.

The pillows were slightly uncomfortable, but not too bad.

Gorgeous converted church in a little town just half an hour from Bowral/Berrima. Wonderful Host!

Beautiful location, beautiful building, beautiful room, beautiful host. This was an exquisite stay in a wonderful weekend getaway.

Nothing. It was one of the best rooms I've stayed in for a country getaway.

$630 OUT THE WINDOW.....

All was fine with the little one bedroom section. EXCEPT... The mattress was hard & thin, firm- medium, with a topper, not a luxurious pillow top, comfortable mattress, AS DESCRIBED IN A PHONE CONVERSATION.

The toilet is square & almost against the wall, ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE, to use if you're over 5½ft. We were moved, to the back unit, as the bed was impossibly hard, and the toilet unsuitable. TO FIND A BEDROOM COATED IN BLACK MOULD!! My husband, stood on a chair & washed the entire wall with vinegar. There was mould stuck in the grooves in the wall. We had to remove the 20+ empty picture frames, as they were also coated in mould. The white curtains, had huge, black mould marks also. The steel of the staircase, had a coating of black mould. THE ICING ON THE CAKE.....I was accused of stealing the shampoo, conditioner & body wash (which i didn't use, as it was full of nasty chemicals), as the "cleaner" DIDN'T LOOK IN THE SHOWER...... LET ALONE CLEAN IT????

Pleasant stay

Had a 4 night stay at Angel Place and unfortunately the weather was terrible! The accommodation was lovely and beautifully decorated throughout with gorgeous artworks. There was no other guests on site. I think noise may potentially be a problem if guests are staying in the adjoining accommodation. Angel Place is really well situated in the main road, with a great Italian / Pizza restaurant almost opposite, and within walking distance of the pub and various other restaurants and cafes. great.

We found the bed a bit uncomfortable

Country Escape with Creature Comforts

Beautiful home from home for a country escape. The converted church studio had everything you could want, super comfortable bed linen, art and inspiring interiors. We enjoyed our time in the property as much as out of it. The location was perfect for Robertson and excellent pizzas were available across the road if you wanted to stay in. The country with creature comforts.

could have been better.

The old converted church is really lovely, one of its kind.

we booked for 6 nights, but had hooks on the wall to hang clothes and no shelves. we knew there was no hob or oven, but without choices to eat locally, it would have been nice to cook a night or 2. the fridge is a tiny bar fridge.

The decoration of the rooms were unique and the stay was an interesting and unique experience being a renovated church. Fantastic location, walking distance to eateries.

What an amazing place to stay, beautifully decorated, can't say enough about it.

The accommodation was absolutely stunning. The photos of the property do not do the place justice. It is decorated with wonderful works of art, some painted by the owner, which makes it even more special.

Cosy Robertson cottage.

It was a freezing weekend & the heating was excellent. Close to the pub which did excellent meals & selection of beers & wines. Very comfortable bed. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.

Great location for our visit as it was close to the family we were visiting. Only disappointment was it could have been cleaner but we are very fussy when it comes to cleanliness.
