About this house rental
Located less than a 5-minute walk to the public beach access, it makes for the perfect location for a family vacation. Ease of access between the waves and your kitchen will make mid-day lunch breaks a breeze!
This 2-level home has plenty of indoor and outdoor space to lounge and relax all week long. 'Ohana Oasis is the perfect place for families to enjoy the beach life! Upstairs you will find the kitchen, dining area, living room with a TV. The full kitchen is well stocked with cookware, dining ware, utensils, variety of spices, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. Three of the four bedrooms are on the upper level. One shared full bathroom with bathtub is located just off the main living area. Master bedroom has private 3/4 bathroom (shower only). Washer and dryer are located on upper level.
Downstairs also has a generous common space with a card/game table and lounge area with TV. Ping pong table is set up and ready for that epic family tournament! A small wet bar with mini-fridge and sink is available.
An outdoor shower is available to rinse off the sand after a day of fun on the beach!
Food Lion and Publix are 3-5 miles away for all the essentials, and a much closer stop is the Veggie Wagon with local produce, baked goods and artisanal products!

- We have a strict no pets policy.
- If you are looking for a party house, this is NOT it. Our neighbors are mostly full-time residents. Please be respectful of their space and their quiet, relaxed neighborhood.
- Climbing stairs is required for both inside and out, given that the main living space is on the upper level. Keep that in mind if you have mobility-impaired family members.
- LINENS AND BATH TOWELS ARE PROVIDED. Each bed will come with a full set of sheets and two (2) pillowcases with exception of the twin bunk and trundle (1 each).
Each bed also comes with 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths (again, except of twin beds get 1 each) = (12) bath towels, (12) hand towels, (12) washcloths.
- Beach towels are NOT provided.
- We take hurricane safety very seriously and will follow all directives by the County/Town Emergency Managers. The Atlantic hurricane season runs June through November, and is unpredictable. We highly recommend investing in a separate travel insurance in case a hurricane affects your vacation.

If you would like to venture off the beach, 'Ohana Oasis is less than a mile from the Kure Beach Pier and a few great local restaurants. Head just a few minutes south to get to the Historic Fort Fisher Park and the Fort Fisher NC Aquarium. If you cruise north 3 miles on the beach road, you'll be at the Carolina Beach boardwalk, packed with restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, carnival rides/games! Don't forget Britt's Donuts!

This house was perfect for 4 adults and 5 kids (age 10-13). It was a perfect house for us with 2 levels and the kids enjoyed the downstairs with the ping pong table and their own area with TV. Perfect location to the beach with the downstairs shower and awesome porch for enjoying the evening. We rent a beach house 2 times a year, this house was not just stocked with what u need but thoughtfully stocked with extras you would not expect but appreciate. The owners were attentive and went way beyond what they had to do.
The area was also nice with clean with beaches that were not crowded. There was a educational aquarium close that the kids enjoyed that was reasonably priced. We even enjoyed the ferry ride to southport for the day. Their is so many fun things to explore in the area. We will definitely be back to this beach house. This house is more than 5 stars for us!!!

Nice Old-Fashion Beach House
Our family stayed in this property in June and we enjoyed our stay very much. The home was well stocked and the information from the owners was clear and easy to understand. The kitchen had a huge array of cooking utensils and an ample supply of quality dishes. The home was very clean and while the upstairs bedrooms were small they were functional. The porch and furniture there was very adequate. I liked not having to deal with keys. We appreciated the owners sending us a gift card to The Veggie Wagon, although in defense of the previous renters the garbage is collected extremely early on Saturday and renters should be told to have it out Friday night. The only negative we had was the house was fairly hot. We felt uncomfortably so at times. Particularly when you cook in the evening the living area is effected. Overall our impression was good.

Very clean , close to beach, beautiful home!
The house is even nicer than what we expected! Very clean, easy close walk to the beach, friendly neighborhood, owners are wonderful at keeping in contact to make sure our stay was going well and see if we needed anything. We highly recommend this home! We had 7 adults and 1 child and everyone was very comfortable!!! Ping pong table was a big hit for everyone!!! Lots of laughs and a very beachy feel!!

Made our first trip to Kure Beach a good one!
We really enjoyed staying here. Prior to arrival, any questions asked to the property owners were quickly answered. When we arrived, everything was exactly as it was described. The kitchen was well-stocked with tools and gadgets. Beds were comfy. There were some minor issues preventing me giving it 5 stars: ice maker and water dispenser in the fridge didn’t work, towel rods were loose and couldn’t hold towels, and the inside stairs were hard to navigate for our older occupants and luggage. Even though, we’d still stay here again. We loved our time at Ohana Oasis.

Awesome Week
We cannot say anything negative about this property! The accommodations were wonderful for 5 adults, two teenagers and a 6 year old; plus there were times we added 6 more people. The beach was not a bad walk at all. We LOVED everything about it and will most definitely stay there in the future.

We spent a wonderful week at the Ohana Oasis. The house is a short walk from the beach, which was great with young children. The outdoor shower was great after a day at the beach. The house is clean and so well stocked...it had everything we needed. We hope to stay again next summer!

Great location, better than we expected. Good space in the home with the 2 levels. Having the outdoor shower with warm water is great. A couple of things that could improve this already great property is updated living room furniture, a new coffee pot and a outdoor eating table.

Great Location Great House
The house was great. Well maintained and spacious. Plenty of room for 3 generations to enjoy the week. Best part was location. The pics don't convey how really close the house is to the beach access. My grandchildren ages 2,4, and 6 had no problem with the short walk even after a full day at the beach. Outdoor shower was a definite plus. Would definitely book again when we return to the peaceful and uncrowded Kure Beach.

Perfect House for Exploring Pleasure Island!
We recently stayed at this property with six adults and two toddlers in our group and this house was perfect! The home is clean and nicely decorated. The house is located in a quiet area but with easy access to the beach, restaurants, aquarium, grocery store and more. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and spices. The dining space large enough for the whole group to eat together. A full size washer and dryer are also available. The outdoor shower is great for rinsing off after a trip to the beach.
The owners were quick to communicate information and the home manual had all the information we needed about the house during our stay. It even has restaurant menus and brochures for local sites and activities.
I was originally concerned about the stairs with two small children, however they were not an issue at all because there are doors at both the top and bottom. The owners even had some baby proofing items so we put covers on the doorknobs.
We really liked that the downstairs was almost like a separate suite from the rest of the house since the two toddlers go to bed much earlier than the rest of the group. The front deck also has a gate at the top of the stairs, making it a great place to relax with the family and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. Another bonus was the availability of children's plates and cups.
This was our first experience using VRBO and it was nothing short of perfect!
