A lovely, safe place run by a great family, which altogether make travelling experience so enjoyable.

The host and his family are super helpful, friendly, kind and overall just nice people! Bega provided all info about Dubrovnik attractions and near-by places - when, where, what to buy/go/eat/shop/chill - some really good recommendations that I used. And also info about the room and property. They gave access to the washing machine, and you can even ask his lovely mom to help with a quick laundry (which I did not feel comfortable to do). He and his spouse even helped me with Uber to the bus station (they are very nice, I told you). Bega gives his whatsapp in case there any issues. One evening came and warned me about the rain storm coming :) The room is not large, but is very (!) clean and had everything I needed, even a nice balcony with a chair, a table, and a drying rack. I found location even more pleasant then the old town/center of Dubrovnik. There is a nice shop nearby, a bus stop, a nice promenade with bars and restaurants, a beach, and some beautiful secluded rocky areas with stairs to the water and some old evergreen trees, which I enjoyed the most. The water is just unreal in terms of color and temperature. And definitely there are less tourists and better prices ) There are places that offer water activities as well.

The only thing that one should bear in mind - if you plan to walk, you need to climb stairs to get to the place. No problem for the healthy people w/o mobility issues. I even kinda liked it )

The owners are the best! Bega and his mother take great care of the guests. Amazing location - close to the promenade, beach, restaurants and market. Clean, well-kept rooms. I really recommend 😊

Really nice place to stay in Dubrovnik, it is in a quiet local area, but also close to the walking street and Lapad beach, which is the best beach there in my opinion. The property has an amazing view from upper floors as well. The owner called Bega is genuinely cool guy always willing to help you and trying his best to make your stay in Dubrovnik as good as possible. All in all the property definitely has good vibes. Highly recommended.

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed our stay with a wonderful view. It was close to the main beach and street full of restaurants and close to public transportation to easily get to the old town. The host was kind and friendly and gave us all the necessary information.

Nice place, beach and restaurants are near by. You can choose from a lots of restaurants! There are rocky beaches every 10 meters down of the cost.

Best place to stay in Dubrovnik

Location is the best to stay for visiting Dubrovnik. You have everything you need close in walking distance. You can walk to the beaches around, coffees and restaurants are downstairs (2min). To downtown you might walk, talking the bus or Uber which is around 6/7 Euro. I felt immediately like home. Apartment was perfectly clean.

In case you aren't aware, Dubrovnik's old city has been overtaken by cruise ship hordes. Bega's place is in a lovely beach town that is a 10-minute bus ride to the old city. We took Bega's advice and went into the town early before the cruise ships disgorge the hordes and came back in the afternoon to enjoy the beach and bays. The hotel is on the hill above the main part of the beach town and is a short walk to cafes and restaurants etc. The rooms are basic, but spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Bega's mom did laundry for us and that was very much appreciated. The rooms on the main floor open up to a grape and kiwi vine covered terrace. It was great to sip wine and chat with other guests. Bega was very helpful and gave us some great tips. also, a discount card for his friend's restaurant - which was really good. For sure, this is a great choice in Dubrovnik
