Fabulous stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Fantastic

Where do I start? The location is amazing - right on the lagoon, Michelle is an fantastic host and made us feel so welcome. The facilities are outstanding and the breakfast is worth a review on its own! We used the kayaks on the lagoon and they helped us down to the beach with them, the honesty bar is incredibly well stocked, and Michelle even booked a restaurant and taxi for us. I cannot rate the Knysna Belle highly enough. It is an incredible experience and we wish we could have stayed for a week.

Michelle has generosity and warmth. She really made us feel special.

The breakfast was amazing. Michelle was attentive and made us feel relaxed and at home! The house itself is beautiful, comfortable, perfectly located, bright and spacious. The garden is perfectly manicured and tranquil. The views from the balcony are breathtaking. The area is safe and the lagoon is right on the doorstep. I've never felt more relaxed.

We loved everything and Michelle made it special.

Impeccable accommodation with free bikes and kayaks

Fantastic property on idyllic Leisure Isle, super modern, clean and comfortable! Very nice room, top-notch bathroom, impressive communal rooms (what a living room and deck!). We loved to explore the surroundings with their free bikes and kayaks - such a great benefit of staying at this guest house! Michelle and Gabby were the perfect hosts for our two-night stay. The breakfast with a view of the pool and the manicured gardens was excellent as well. Apart from the somewhat unpredictable weather, our stay couldn’t have been better! We’ll return for sure.

Fantastich guesthouse in a quiet part of Knysna

It’s a fantastic, quiet, location. The guesthouse is great and has all required facilities in a modern style. Also, the guesthouse accommodates for the loadshedding, so we didn’t feel any impact if that. Michelle is so kind! Always in for a nice chat and helps to make restaurant reservations.

Home away from home

Everything exceeded expectations. Gabby was/is a fantastic hostess with a very down to earth and welcoming personality. Making us feel right at home and assisting/answering any questions we had. The guest house location is absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the Knysna Lagoon. Everything felt very peaceful and relaxing. The house itself is absolutely lovely. It includes a pool, cosy lounge with fireplace, dining room with coffee, among other thing's. There's also full access to the equipment (kayak/canoe/bicycles, etc.). Finally, Gabby was all too happy to accomodate our dietary requirements and made us feel as if we were dining in a little fancy restaurant with a scrumptious breakfast. Thank you so much Gabby! Definitely our place of choice the next time we're in the area again :)

Perfect. Wish it was a longer stay.

The host was so sweet and welcoming. The house is the coziest house we stayed at along the garden route. it is very clean. It is located on leisure island which is very safe. The homemade breakfast was the best we had during our stay in South Africa (homemade eggs, flapjacks, fresh fruits and more). The house is located right infront of the water bay where you can have the most peaceful walk.

Fabulous one night stay at the Knysna Belle!

When we arrived Michelle, the owner, upgraded us to the Captain's Quarters, which is their best room with spectacular views of the knysna lagoon, and a huge private balcony to relax on, thank you Michelle! The breakfast was also excellent. We will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Perfect stay

Everything was great, the room felt so luxurious and I felt so pampered! Leisure Island has gorgeous views all around and the Knysna Belle is so well taken care of, Gaby and Michelle are doing wonders here. Wish i could go back and stay there for longer. Great breakfast!

The breakfast & the location were both excellent.

After a long car journey we just needed a cup of tea, but alas there was no milk available both in the room & at the Guest house ! We had to go out to buy milk to ensure we could have early morning tea the following morning on waking up.
